The current situation and future development of global electric vehicles are studied in the literature, and the development of domestic electric vehicles is promoted. This study uses expert qualitative interview survey and data analysis to find out the key evaluation factors for the introduction of electric vehicles in Taiwan assembly, and puts forward some suggestions for the consideration of vehicles assembled in Taiwan for related influencing factors. Through expert qualitative interviews, to understand the introduction of the actual case company in Taiwan assembly status, with expert questionnaires and data analysis to summarize the needs of assembly in Taiwan to face the various structural considerations, to obtain the relevant factors and solutions. Finally, this paper puts forward the principle analysis of the establishment and the necessary conditions, summarizes the mainland electric vehicle assembly considerations in Taiwan, as the future other operators or cooperative vehicle manufacturers want to introduce mainland vehicles reference, in order to accelerate the domestic vehicle electrification and popularization of electric vehicles

The number of beauty KOLs on Instagram is the largest. The reason is that beauty product brands pay the most attention to presentation in a visual way, and nowadays most of the research discusses "KOL industry content related to the interaction between fans" and "whether KOLs drive online word-of-mouth marketing", all of which focus on consumers or cooperative brands as the protagonists to discuss the "advertising effect" of KOL's communication channel. Therefore, This study bridges the gap in the cash literature from a "personal brand" perspective. This research uses a case study method for KOLs with beauty attributes on Instagram, which must be supported by data at the same time, and deeply explores the impact of industry matching articles on KOLs\ue2 personal brand resonance, and how KOLs choose products for business cooperation. Knowing that when creating "personal brand resonance", you can start with the "relevance" of professional content.     The price determinants of accommodation in the Taipei metropolitan area: A hedonic pricing approach

    Using hedonic price theory as a conceptual framework, this research aims to identify the relationship between various service and facility attributes on accommodation room pricing. After adjusting factors for multicollinearity, the significance of the relationship between structural, accessibility, and neighborhood features was determined, and indicators of the association were provided. Booking.com was used to acquire information on 638 hotels and hostels in the Taipei metropolitan area. Throughout the estimation procedure, samples of one-night stays in a double room were analyzed using OLS regression and Box-Cox transformed functions. It was discovered that four- and five-star hotels, room size, comfort (one of the customer rating indices) and the provision of breakfast have significant positive effects, while hostels and free order cancellation policy have a negative effect on room pricing. Additionally, there is a null relationship between the room rating and green-certified accommodations. This study provides hotels and practitioners with region-specific statistics on the propensity of customers to pay and enables more effective pricing strategies and implementation

    Investigating the intention to continuously use asynchronous online paid course platform

    In the highly competitive online course platform market, many online course platform operators have used various approaches to attract more new users to sign up for purchasing asynchronous online paid courses and to increase users\ue2 long-term loyalty and stickiness of the platform. However, online learners often cannot complete most of their online courses because of poor learning outcome, which may lead to be less intention to continuously use the same online paid course platform. This would result in the platform operators not being able to retain a long-term profitability. According to previous research, the continuance intention of using an asynchronous online course platform depended on learners' technological acceptance of the online course platform. In addition, based on parasocial interactions (PSI) theory, this study argues that the PSI occurring between the online lecturer and learner would enhance learners' learning outcomes and influence learners' purchase intention on the online platforms. Thus, this study will apply the \ue2unified theory of acceptance and use of technology\ue2 (UTAUT) model integrating parasocial interaction to investigate the impact of continuous intention of using asynchronous online paid course platforms. Online data were collected from 443 Taiwanese participants who have experience in using asynchronous online paid course platforms. The empirical results showed that: (1) performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions significantly influence continuance intention with regard to using asynchronous paid online course platforms; and (2) parasocial interaction has a negative moderating effect on the relationship between performance expectancy and continuance intention

    Optically-Tunable Positioning of Topological Defects in Twisted Nematic Liquid Crystals and Spatial Control of Particles

    Defects are lattice dislocations in the crystal shaping process and singularities that appear in the original continuous structure. Defects can be divided into dislocation and disclination according to the formation method. Dislocation is the fracture of crystal translation, and disclination is the fracture of rotation, but it is not easy to produce twisted disclination in common solid crystals. Liquid crystals have both flexibility and order, making disclination defects easier to produce in liquid crystals. In the past, defects in the liquid crystals were mostly manufactured through different surface boundary conditions, and they were not easy to turn after manufacturing. Even if they were controlled through electric fields, the degree of movement was not ideal. Based on our laboratory produced defects between the left and right rotation 90 degrees TN by mixing light-controlled azo dyes in the past. This research will control the defects through light-controlled methods and use the defects to move particles. In this study, a light-controlled azo dye was mixed into the TN element, and the cis-trans structure of the azo dye was changed through the light of different wavelengths, resulting in TN elements with different twist angles. Through the comparison of the simulated spectrum through the transmittance, it is found that in the twisted structure with a 180-degree twist angle, the same defects as the previous between 90-degree left-handed TN and 90-degree right-handed TN were observed. However, thicker defects appear in the twisted structure with a twist angle difference of 360 degrees, and the width of the thickness of the defect is significant. We hypothesize a defect model in which the liquid crystal is twisted in the horizontal direction to explain the structure of the coarse defect. And calculate the elastic free energy of TN and STN with different torsion angles under different pitch, pretilt angle, thickness, and elastic constant. It is found that defects can be generated more stably in liquid crystals with larger elastic constant. Finally, we discuss the behavior of different defects to control the particles and use the point-like light spot to control the defects, so that the particles can move freely in the sample. Successfully let us have a stable method to control the defects, and can be used to make different patterned particles in the future

    As COVID-19 began spreading in December 2019, it became an epidemic. Every business, such as the tourism industry and aircraft industry, in the world has been affected by COVID-19. Many countries have enforced lockdowns of varying stringency in response to the pandemic, even not allowing visitors. It caused the travel agencies to suspend all service. During the second half of 2020, some travel agencies tried to focus more on different business, publishing new brands or inbound tourism. This study aims to highlight the impact of COVD-19 on a H travel agency in Taiwan and explore their diversification strategy which is applied when they try to survive. Through this research, we can find that H travel agency chose coffee industry as new business and developed both corporate-level and business-level strategies. As corporate-level strategy, it is found that H travel agency planned a new value proposition, which is that they want their business partner to survive together rather than survive by themselves. Also, they created a group to generate more new ideas for new business whiles this group improve communication with each branch office. As a business-level strategy, we can see that H travel agency optimized the resourece use such as the ability to integate resources and connnections, from the toruism industry to the new business. Also, they considered three steps to calculate a sustainable price for their product. Moreover, in the beginning of new business development, it needs a character to execute the business plan, and that is exactly what an executive assistant can do. Finally, we can find that not every employee can embrace new business coming; some of them accept it naturally, but others try to resist. Based on the results, we can discover that how company to developed a new business from planning to excution

    Optical phenomenon of liquid crystal rearrangement through thermal expansion and pressure flow

    The arrangement of nematic liquid crystals (LC) can be controlled by electric field, magnetic field and pressure gradient, and then produce different optical phenomena. In this thesis, the LC directors are affected by thermal effects caused by laser illumination on metallic particles dispersed in LC layer. Interesting optical patterns are generated under the polarization optical microscope when the metallic particles absorbing light and the ambient LC molecules were tiled accordingly due to different thermal mechanisms. In the experiment, a green laser with a wavelength of 532nm is used to focus on the liquid crystal doped with metal aluminum particles and dyes, so that the aluminum particles in the liquid crystal cell form a point heat source due to the photothermal effect. The liquid flow generated by the heat source in the experiments can be divided into three main mechanisms. The first one is Rayleigh\ue2B\uc3\ua9nard convection, in which the liquid at the bottom is heated to produce multiple regular local convection systems. The second one is the Marangoni effect, which refers to the phenomenon of surface tension gradient at the fluid interface. The portion with strong surface tension pulls the portion with weak surface tension, so the portion with weak surface tension will move towards the strong portion.When heating the liquid, the surface tension will also form a level difference due to the temperature gradient, then the convection occurs. The third one is thermal expansion as well as thermal diffusion, which is different from the previous two pressure-driven flows. It is due to the volume increasement of the LC materials which naturally induces the rearrangement of the LC directors. The resulted optical pattern has shown that the metal cluster can generate a thermal dipole which caused the LC molecules to form a q-plate with q=2. A simple mathematical calculation has been provided and the pattern has been verified to be q=2 case

    Use of metalized polyacrylic acid to improve electrochemical performance of sulfur cathode in sodium-sulfur batteries

    Promising binder systems with special chemical and mechanical functions are under extensive exploration to cope with serious volume change and harmful shuttle effect occurring during charge/discharge cycles of a sulfur cathode in sodium-sulfur (Na-S) batteries. In the first part, we use sulfurized polyacrylonitrile (SPAN) as the active material composite, metalized polyacrylic acid (MPAA) as the binder and polydopamine (PDA) as the interlayer between both mentioned above in this system. The metal ions play an essential role in the MPAA binder, when the metal ion is changed from monovalent sodium to calcium, iron and then tetravalent titanium, the density of the network structure increases, which leads to the improvement in mechanical and interfacial strengths of the sulfur cathode. Cathode derived from SPAN/PDA/titanium polyacrylate (TiPAA) shows the best stability and electrochemical performance, exhibiting a rather high specific capacity of 1438 mAh g-1 after 100 cycles at 0.2 C, and 1271 mAh g-1 after 300 cycles at 1 C. In the second part, we used pullulan as a skeleton of the binder, and polymerize PAA onto pullulan to obtain a graft copolymer, and we further added different amount of Ti4+ to tune its mechanical properties and its adhesive capacity. The results show that the cathode derived from SPAN/PDA/PuTiA(8) (the weight ratio of Ti4+ in the binder is 8wt%) has a superior performance, and it also contains covalent bond, hydrogen bond, and ionic bond in this binder system. The performance shows a high specific capacity of 1429 mAh g-1 after 100 cycles at 0.2 C, and 1270 mAh g-1 after 300 cycles at 1 C

    The two sides of the Taiwan Strait have been divided and ruled for more than 70 years. Today, they are still in an ambiguous situation of both struggle and competition. In addition, the conflicts in the Taiwan Strait have been heating up in recent years, and the geopolitical fight between the United States and China for hegemony in East Asia has forced Taiwanese people to think about a new transition plan for "peaceful" handling of cross-strait conflicts. The cross-strait interim agreement was proposed in the late 1990s and has been unable to achieve a peaceful settlement of conflicts and disputes between the two sides of the strait under the changing international situation. Therefore, the two sides of the strait need to re-examine the most suitable solution for dealing with each other's problems. The purpose of this thesis is to determine the related qualitative theories of the interim agreement from the perspective of international law. The United States, China and Taiwan have put forward the concept of the connotation of the interim agreement between the two sides of the strait, and through the international example of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Relevant enlightenment of the negotiation between the international community, and the situation between Russia and Ukraine. It is hoped that the Republic of China can become a "safe buffer area" under the competition between the major powers of China and the United States and explore a feasible conceptual plan for a cross-strait interim agreement

    The Relationship between Corporate Governance Evaluation and Corporate Financing Costs

    This study investigates the impact of corporate governance evaluation on financing costs. The study period is from 2014 to 2020, and the research subjects are all listed companies that have undergone corporate governance evaluation. The researcher classifies companies based on the published levels and examines the relative relationship between corporate governance evaluation results and financing costs to verify whether companies with better corporate governance evaluation results have lower financing costs. The results show that companies with better corporate governance evaluation results do have lower financing costs, indicating that corporate governance evaluation has a significant impact on financing costs and is of reference value to creditors
