No full textImpacto de los talleres, formación y mediación de los multiplicadores (formadores de formadores) y las sesiones con participantes en los programas de inclusión digital en Brasil: una evaluación desde un análisis multivariable. Este artículo tiene por objeto evaluar los resultados del proceso de inclusión digital de los usuarios supuestamente incluidos en los puntos de la inclusión digital, promovida por los programas y proyectos del Gobierno brasileño y sus socios, después de haber pasado por procesos de capacitación, talleres y otras formas de mediación. La evaluación toma como base la identificación de las variables que mejor explican el proceso de inclusión y un análisis multivariado de estas variables. Los resultados obtenidos deben ser vistos a la luz del universo de investigación, de las personas de una clase desfavorecida, que viven en lugares con poca infraestructura de telecomunicaciones, donde el satélite es el medio más viable para ofrecer Internet de banda ancha. | This article aims ats evaluating the results of the process of digital inclusion among the
supposedly included users of digital inclusion points, promoted by programs and projects of the
Government and its partners, after having gone th
rough qualification processes, workshops and other
forms of mediation. The evaluation has as base the identification of variables that better explain the
inclusion process and a multivariete analysis of these variables. Thus, factors had been identified that
would allow to detect factors that have an impact in the inclusion process, such as the context of the
user, his or her demographic profile, the social conditions, the use of and access to information and
comunication technologies - ICTs, but also the evaluation, use and search of information by the user.
An example is the search and employment of the information for the welfare of the community. In
this study changes were detected to the degree in which explanations of variable or indicators are
considered for the user to feel included, such
as: sex, color/race, access to broadband Internet,
infrastructure, available cellular telephone, available digital information in the Internet and social
nets and a computer at home. The multivariate anal
ysis selected that the determining factors of
digital inclusion are in constant change, as the ownership of cell phone, a fixed telephone and
computer at home. It was evidenced that the ones
that say they are digitally included were people
who believe that Internet changed their lives, know and use the Internet, participate in relationship
sites, have the habit of reading the press and news in the WEB. In the study, the issues of schooling
and range of income and geographic region continue to determine whether users feel included.
Because of the universalization of cellular phones, this represents little to the included ones, which is
different from having a computer at home. These resu
lts must be seen to the light of the research
universe, of people of a disfavoured class, living in places with little telecommunications
infrastructure, where the satellite is the most viable means to provide broadband Internet

of a researcher reflects the impact of his production and
determines the success of his scientific career. Ho
wever, it is difficult to apply due to the bidi-
mensional character. Some bibliometric indexes that try to synthesize with a numerical value
the principal characteristics of this citation distribution have been proposed recently. In contrast
with other bibliometric measures, the biases, that the distribution tails provoke, are eliminated
by the h-index. On the other hand, some limitations to discriminate between researchers with
different publication habits are presented. This index penalizes to selective researchers, distin-
guished by the number of citations instead of th
e number of publications, as compared to great producers. In this work, two original indexes are applied to the evaluation of Nobel Prize win-
ners in Economics. | La distribución de citas de un investigador refleja el impacto de su producción y determina el éxito de su carrera profesional. Sin embargo, resulta difícil su aplicación por el carácter bidimensional. En los últimos años, han aparecido algunos indicadores que tratan de sintetizar, en un valor numérico, las características principales de esta distribución. A diferencia de otros indicadores, el índice h elimina los sesgos provocados por las colas de la distribución. Sin embargo, este indicador presenta limitaciones a la hora de discriminar entre investigadores con diferentes hábitos de publicación, penalizando a aquellos más selectivos, que no destacan por el número de publicaciones pero sí por el alto número de citas recibidas, frente a los grandes productores. Análisis de redes como método para la definición de conceptos
No full textSe parte de un trabajo en el que se han censado definiciones de Bibliografía y se han analizado cualitativamente; los resultados muestran los parámetros que contienen estas definiciones. Posteriormente se analizan estos resultados mediante el análisis estadístico y de redes, para lo que se utilizan los programas informáticos R y Ucinet. El análisis de la red estudia las conexiones, entendiendo como conexión cada vez que dos parámetros aparecen juntos en una definición. Los resultados llevan a concluir que se trata de una red simétrica, que aunque presenta agujeros estructurales no contiene subgrupos y por ello todos los parámetros son alcanzables. Finalmente se plantea este método como una herramienta muy útil a la hora de manejar conceptos a veces tan difíciles de definir como es el caso de Bibliografía. | This job is based on an article in wh

Following this, the results are studied by
means of statistical and network analysis
with the computer program R and Ucinet.
The analysis of the network studies the
connections between them, understanding as
a connection, when the two parameters appe
ar together in a definition. The results
lead to the conclusion that it is a symme
trical network, which although presenting
structural holes does not contain subgroups a
nd for this reason all the parameters are
reachable. Finally this method is proposed as
a very useful tool when it comes to
managing concepts, at times so difficult to define, as is the case with Bibliography
Desenvolupament del servei de préstec en línia de llibres electrònics a les biblioteques públiques de Catalunya i de la Comunitat de Madrid

Les subdireccions de biblioteques de Catalunya i de la Comunitat de Madrid han volgut explorar les possibilitats dels nous suports de lectura digital per donar resposta a les necessitats ciutadanes en aquest sentit i també, al mateix temps, afavorir la introducció d'aquestes tecnologies entre el públic. També es proposava esperonar la indústria editorial per tenir ben present el mercat bibliotecari. -- Metodologia. A partir d'un pla pilot d'introducció i préstec de lectors (e-readers) amb obres incorporades (e-books o llibres electrònics); i a partir també dels resultats de les enquestes de seguiment i avaluació del pla pilot, i de l'estudi de la praxi a nivell internacional, s'ha treballat, de forma cooperativa en el disseny d'un entorn. Aquest entorn s'havia de configurar com a model apte per donar resposta a les biblioteques públiques, a la indústria editorial i sobretot, a les necessitats dels usuaris de les biblioteques públiques de les dues comunitats. -- Resultats. S'inaugura un nou servei de préstec de llibres electrònic amb la creació d'una plataforma, comercialment neutra, on es pot accedir directament o des dels respectius catàlegs col·lectius. De l'experiència i dels estudis realitzats, se'n dedueix la necessitat d'apostar més pels continguts que per la tecnologia i de ser permeables i flexibles: la plataforma i el model de servei que s'estableix han de ser sensibles i adaptables als nous escenaris que puguin produir-se en terminis mitjos que resulten cada vegada més curts. | Objectives. The heads of libraries in Catalonia and the Community of Madrid have explored the possibilities of the new digital reading platforms in order to respond to the public's needs and also to promote the introduction of these technologies in everyday use. This study also aimed to draw the attention of the publishing industry to the importance of the library market. -- Methodology. The study describes a pilot scheme for the introduction and loan of e-readers and e-books. Based on the results of the surveys devised to assess the pilot scheme and the study of practices in other countries, the authors have designed an environment able to serve as a model for public libraries and the publishing industry and above all, able to respond to the needs of public library users in the two communities. -- Results. We initiated a new e-book loan service with the creation of a commercially neutral platform which can be accessed either directly or via the respective library catalogues. The results of the study highlight the need to concentrate more on the contents than on technological aspects, and the need for flexibility: the platform and the service model must be sensitive and adaptable to the new scenarios as they emerging

The project aims to analyse readers' new experiences and to help to define the position of public libraries in this new environment, and proposes guidelines for e-Book management in public reading services

ENCLAVE forma parte de la apuesta decidida de la Biblioteca Nacional de España por la tecnología como instrumento para simplificar el acceso de los ciudadanos a la información, a la cultura y a la educación. Se detallan los requisitos técnicos de las obras que forman parte del proyecto, así como los criterios y los procedimientos de trabajo para la integración de obra sujeta a derechos de autor en el marco de la Biblioteca Digital Hispánica. | We describe ENCLAVE, a project designed to provide access for users to contents under copyright in digital libraries. ENCLAVE exemplifies the Spanish National Library's commitment to technology as a means to aid public access to information, culture and education. We outline the technical requirements of the works that make up the project, and the criteria and procedures for the integration of copyright works inside the framework of the Spanish Digital Library
Captar les relacions que hi ha en les descripcions d'imatges : una investigació preliminar
No full textObjectius. Les relacions tenen uns efectes notables, però mal entesos, sobre com es representen, s'estructuren i es processen els objectes d'informació en ambients computacionals. Aquest article presenta una investigació preliminar i un enfocament innovador sobre el problema de les relacions en el context del discurs arxivístic. -- Metodologia. S'examina com les eines ontològiques i tècniques d'anàlisi de continguts poden ser adaptades i millorades per ajudar els investigadors a identificar, captar i classificar les relacions expressades en les descripcions d'imatges. S'ofereix una visió addicional a partir de l'examen de les relacions des del punt de vista de tres contextos de descripció diferents: cercadors d'imatges, conservadors i catalogadors. S'analitza la naturalesa de les dades de la mostra, incloent-hi com es validen i com se'n determina la fiabilitat. -- Resultats. Es tenen en compte les limitacions d'investigacions anteriors sobre relacions i s'introdueix una metodologia nova dissenyada per ajudar els investigadors a predir amb eficàcia les relacions que ocorren en les descripcions textuals
