No full textThis HDF5-dataset contains in-situ high-speed infrared thermography data acquired during the Laser-Based Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-LB/M) process. The data was collected using a Synchronized Path Infrared Thermography (SPIT) setup, which employs a dual-scanhead configuration to guide both the processing laser and the thermal camera's field of view.
The primary feature of this dataset is the application of a temporally gated acquisition strategy. The infrared camera's integration time (800 µs) was synchronized with a modulated processing laser (500 Hz) to capture thermal data exclusively during the laser-off phases. This method effectively isolates the material's thermal emission from high-intensity laser reflections

No full textEs gibt zahlreiche Gründe, warum etablierte Unternehmen mit Start-ups zusammenarbeiten möchten und auch sollten: Entwicklung neuer Geschäftsmodelle, Bedienung bestehender oder neuer Märkte, Zugang zu neuen Technologien, Lösung konkreter Probleme, Erhöhen des Innovations- bzw. Digitalisierungsgrads, Verbesserung der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit, Gewinnen von Talenten, Gewinnen von Inspiration, Kennenlernen von neuen Arbeitsmethoden und nicht zuletzt die Förderung des Wandels. In einer Studie aus dem Jahr 2021 (Kille et al. 2021, S. 19 ff.) wurden Handlungsempfehlungen für die Zusammenarbeit zwischen traditionellen Unternehmen und Start-ups entwickelt. Auf dieser Basis wird eine Detailanalyse vorgenommen, wie es gelingen kann, dass Start-ups bei der digitalen Transformation von traditionellen Geschäftsmodellen unterstützen können – und was bei Logistikunternehmen gewährleistet sein sollte, dass es gelingt. Das Ergebnis bildet eine Zusammenstellung von Handlungsempfehlungen, die auf Basis von Studien und Veröffentlichungen abgeleitet wurden
Patient autonomy in inpatient medical rehabilitation in Germany - study protocol of a multicenter cross-sectional study

The bioethical principle of respect for patients' autonomy should be implemented in every area of health care. The German rehabilitation system has some characteristics (e.g. the prevalence of inpatient rehabilitation) that make the topic particularly relevant. The aim of the study is to determine the current state of respecting patient autonomy in inpatient medical rehabilitation in Germany and to identify barriers and promoting factors from the perspective of relevant groups.
Methods
A multi-center, prospective, cross-sectional study is being conducted, including interviews with patients (
n
= 24), interviews with professionals (
n
= 21) and a survey of medical directors (
n
= 900). The empirical findings are then reviewed in three validation workshops. In addition, consensus recommendations for practice are derived by means of a Delphi process with experts (
n
= 30).
Discussion
This study will address an important gap in the empirical literature by identifying the current state and needs of patients, professionals and medical directors of rehabilitation clinics regarding the practice of respecting patient autonomy in inpatient medical rehabilitation in Germany. It is expected that the results can contribute to coming closer to the ideal of respect for patient autonomy in rehabilitation practice.

Decolonial Methodologies in Social Work: Foregrounding Pluriversalism in Teaching and Research
No full textWhile decolonial perspectives have continuously been discussed in contemporary academic discourse in Social Work in the last two decades, yet, the complex legacies of colonialism are often left unreflected within methodological and pedagogical conceptualizations in Social Work (Harms-Smith and Rasool, 2020; Tamburro, 2013; Kleibl et al., 2020; Harms-Smith and Afeworki Abay, 2024). With this understanding in mind, it is imperative to critically engage with the growing interest of mainstream discourse on decolonizing research and education in Social Work and as well as to understand the broader project of decolonization as a way of “epistemic de-linking“ (Mignolo, 2007: 450) from colonial thoughts and practices. Decolonial perspectives in Social Work’s knowledge production require a deep look into the core concept of Pluriversality in foregrounding theories, epistemologies and methodologies of the South. According to Boaventura de Sousa Santos (2018), decolonizing theories, epistemologies and methodologies is an asymmetrical and long-term process that requires deep analysis and reflection both in formerly colonized and colonizing regions. As there are only insufficient methodological reflections on these complex topics of “decolonization” in Social Work (see among others: Kleibl et al., 2024), the aim of this book is to go one-step further and put a spotlight on the increasing number of critical teaching formats as well as research projects in Social Work that aim to challenge the current status-quo of coloniality of power, knowledge and being (Quijano, 2007). This co-edited volume provides discussions and experiences with decolonial approaches in research and education of Social Work. It centres methodologies developed in the Global South (de Sousa Santos, 2014; Connell, 2014) in an attempt to decolonize Eurocentrism, as the knowledge produced by subaltern communities and scholars of the global South have been rendered invisible

Band „Professionelle Praxisprojekte“ dokumentieren 42 Business School-Studierende der Technischen Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften Würzburg-Schweinfurt ihre Arbeitsweise in angewandten Forschungsprojekten mit externen Partnern. In 26 Projekten haben sie, teilweise zwei Mal, erfolgreich unternehmerische Fragestellungen bearbeitet. Die studentischen Autoren und Autorinnen finden Sie alle auf der Titelseite.
Das Cover-Design unterstreicht das Projektmanagement-Lehrkonzept: Erfolg wird im Team produziert. Unsere Studierenden stellen diese Leitidee unseren Projekt-Partnern so vor: „Teamwork makes the dream work.“ Mit Hilfe des Gemeinschaftsgeistes lösen die Studierenden unternehmerische Probleme: „Team first“ ist unser Credo. In unserem Agilen Projektmanagement-Modell im Master Marken- und Medienmanagement ZAPAZ steht das erste Z für Zusammenkommen: Das systematische Teambuilding mit Konzept, Teamtraining, Reflexion, Anwendung und Evaluation macht den Unterschied.
Das didaktische 360°-Lehrkonzept stellt sicher, dass die Studierenden ihre persönlichen, sozialen, methodischen und fachlichen Kompetenzen verbessern. Insgesamt stärken sie ihre Projektmanagement-Fähigkeiten, werden selbstbewusster und handeln zielorientierter. Die jungen Projektmanager und Projektmanagerinnen erhöhen so ihre Chancen, einen herausfordernden und „gut“ bezahlten Berufseinstieg zu finden.
