<萌芽論文>マスメディア資料にみる「ゆるキャラ」の変化 : 『朝日新聞』における記事分析
Get PDFAround 2000, Jun Miura proposed “Yuru-Chara". This word is an abbreviation of “Yurui Mascot Character". The purpose of this paper is to consider what were “Yuru-Chara", and changes of "Yuru-Chara" through text analysis of Asahi newspaper articles. In conclusion, originally, the word of “Yuru-Chara" meant local mascots with suits, Miura felt “Yurui", in other words “imperfect for mascots, in principle. But he did't make a strict definition and “Yurui" is a characteristic came from personal subjectivity, so there were exceptions. As text analysis of newspaper articles, I extracted words indicating characteristics of “Yuru-Chara" from 675 Asahi newspaper articles from 2002 to 2021 that includes the word of “Yuru-Chara". And then, I analyzed the contents of the articles. First, people considered that “Yuru-Chara" were unuseless existences and were amused their “Yurusa". However, “Hikonyan" appeared in 2006 became immensely popular and brought a huge profit to the place “Hikonyan" comes from. “Yuru-Chara" were believed effective tools of publicity, introduced and practical used in broad fields. The number of “Yuru-Chara" increased everywhere in Japan, and many “Yuru-Chara" were high degree of perfection and cute aimed at popular acclaim increased. After that, the “Yuru-Chara" world became more competitive. Their characteristics and energetic activities have diversified to attract attention. In conclusion, In conclusion, nowadays, the word of “Yuru-Chara" is interpreted “Yurui" local mascots with suits on the whole. However, “Yurui" is interpreted not only bad meanings but also good meanings, so the interpreter varies between individuals. TWELITE を用いた電子工作教材の開発
Get PDF筆者は「電気実験実習」という科目で電子工作を指導している。これまでに電子工作の教材として様々な教材を開発してきた。本稿は「生活の役に立つ電子工作」という観点から、「授業で作ったものが自分の普段の生活に役立つ」という電子工作教材の開発について述べたものである。具体的には TWELITE を用いて 1 bit の情報(on/off)を無線伝送する装置を開発した。受信機は on を受信したら音と光でそのことを通知する。送信側のセンサとして「光センサ」「超音波センサ」「人感センサ」を用意し、受講生は自分の生活に役立つものを選択して作成する。2022年前期の授業において実施したところ、受講生 6 人は全員が大きな問題なく、工作物を完成させることができた。departmental bulletin pape

Applicability of a Web-based 24-hour Dietary Recall Tool for Japanese Populations in Large-scale Epidemiological Studies
No full textBackground: Recent innovations in information and communication technology have made it possible to assess diet using web-based methods; however, their applicability in the general population remains unclear. Hence, we aimed to examine the applicability of a web-based 24-hour dietary recall (24HR) tool to large-scale epidemiological studies by determining the sampling rate and characteristics of randomly selected participants from a Japanese cohort study.
Methods: In total, 5,013 individuals were recruited from a cohort of 21,537 individuals, and 975 agreed to participate in this study. The participants selected either self-administered web-based dietary 24HR (self-administered 24HR) or interviewer-administered telephone-based 24HR (interviewer-administered 24HR) as the method for the dietary assessment and answered questions regarding the acceptability of the system.
Results: The response rate of the 975 participants was 19.4%, corresponding to approximately 4.5% of the total study sample. About half of them chose the self-administered 24HR (46.9%). The median time required for the self-administered and interviewer-administered 24HR was 25 and 27 minutes, respectively. In the self-administered 24HR, older people, regardless of sex, tended to require a longer time, and approximately 60% of the participants rated the ease of use of the system as “somewhat difficult” or “difficult.”
Conclusion: Characteristics of the participants in this study were not systemically different from those of the entire study sample. Improvements in the approach to entering cooking details and the dish name selection may be necessary for better acceptability in order to be accepted as a self-administered dietary recall tool.journal articl
Creation of Polymer Hydrogelator/Poly(Vinyl Alcohol) Composite Molecular Hydrogel Materials
No full textPolymer hydrogels, including molecular hydrogels, are expected to become materials for healthcare and medical applications, but there is a need to create new functional molecular gels that can meet the required performance. In this paper, for creating new molecular hydrogel materials, the gel formation behavior and its rheological properties for the molecular gels composed of a polymer hydrogelator, poly(3-sodium sulfo-p-phenylene-terephthalamide) polymer (NaPPDT), and water-soluble polymer with the polar group, poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) in various concentrations were examined. Molecular hydrogel composites formed from simple mixtures of NaPPDT aqueous solutions (0.1 wt.%~1.0 wt.%) and PVA aqueous solutions exhibited thixotropic behavior in the relatively low concentration region (0.1 wt.%~1.0 wt.%) and spinnable gel formation in the dense concentration region (4.0 wt.%~8.0 wt.%) with 1.0 wt.% NaPPDT aq., showing a characteristic concentration dependence of mechanical behavior. In contrast, each single-component aqueous solution showed no such gel formation in the concentration range in the present experiments. No gel formation behavior was also observed when mixed with common anionic polymers other than NaPPDT. This improvement in gel-forming ability due to mixing may be due to the increased density of the gel’s network structure composed of hydrogelator and PVA and rigidity owing to NaPPDT.journal articl
