Tourism Mode of Tea Culture Museum in Guizhou: A Case Study of Meitan Modern Tea Culture Museum Settlement
Since the 14th Five-Year Plan, tea culture has become very popular. However, due to the lack of brand awareness and overall planning, and the mechanical application of the model outside the province and other tourism products, Guizhou Tea Culture Tourism presents a "strong tea, light culture, weak tourism". In view of this, in order to realize the positioning goal of "building a national demonstration zone for the integration of tea culture and tourism" in the 14th Five-Year Plan of Guizhou tea industry, and explore the development mode of integration of tea culture and tourism with Guizhou characteristics, this study takes museum tourism as the breakthrough point, Meitan Tea Museum settlement as the research object, and collects Meitan Tea Museum tourism resources. This paper uses SWOT analysis to evaluate the Meitan Tea Culture Museum Tourism model, and provides some recommendations for the development of tea culture museum tourism in Guizhou Province
Survey and Application Prospect Analysis of Spontaneous Plants in Urban Park Lawn in Hangzhou
The spontaneous plants in the lawn not only improve the biodiversity of the lawn, but also provide food and shelter for insects, amphibians and birds, and provide pleasant sensory experience for people. The spontaneous plants in eight different types of parks in Hangzhou were investigated in detail by field survey. A total of 89 species of 27 families of spontaneous plants were found in Hangzhou urban parks, of which Asteraceae, Fabaceae and Poaceae were the dominant families. The life forms are mainly perennial herbs, and the growth forms are mostly erect. According to the screening criteria, 20 spontaneous plants, such as Ranunculus sieboldii, Taraxacum mongolicum and Corydalis decumbens, were recommended for potential exploitation. Effect of Various Citrus Rootstock-scion Combinations on Tree Growth, Fruit Quality, and Photosynthetic Characteristics under Red Loam Soil Conditions
[Objectives] To investigate the effects of 15 distinct citrus rootstock-scion combinations on tree growth, fruit quality, and photosynthetic characteristics under red loam soil conditions and provide a theoretical foundation for the selection of appropriate citrus rootstock-scion combinations in the Zhaoqing region. [Methods] A total of 15 citrus rootstock-scion combinations were utilized as test materials for a comprehensive analysis of their phenological periods (budding, flowering, and fruiting), tree growth indicators (tree height, crown diameter, and growth), and fruit quality (appearance quality and intrinsic quality). The photosynthetic characteristics of the test materials, including the net photosynthetic rate (Pn), transpiration rate (Tr), water use efficiency (WUE), apparent quantum yield (AQY), and carboxylation efficiency (CE), were analyzed to determine their significance. Additionally, the leaf photosynthetic physiological indicators, such as soluble protein, specific leaf weight, chlorophyll, and carotenoids, were evaluated. [Results] There were notable differences observed in the phenological period, growth potential of trees, fruit quality, and photosynthetic characteristics among various citrus rootstock-scion combinations. The phenological periods exhibited variation contingent on the grafting varieties. In terms of tree growth potential, the C. tangerina Tanaka ‘Hongju’ and C.haniana Hort ‘Suanju’ rootstocks demonstrated greater tree height, crown growth, and overall tree strength; however, they were also prone to excessive growth. Conversely, the C. limonia Osbeck ‘Hongningmeng’ and C. sinensis × P. trifoliata ‘Zhicheng’ rootstocks displayed medium growth potential, while the Poncirus trifoliate (L)Raf. ‘Zhike’ rootstock resulted in shorter trees. In terms of fruit quality, the single fruit weight of Citrus flamea Hort. ‘Shatangju’ ranged from 33 to 50 g, exhibiting a flat and round shape. The total soluble solids and titratable acid content of ‘Shatangju’ grafted onto the ‘Zhike’ rootstock were notably high. In contrast, the single fruit weight of C. haniana Hort. ‘Chuntianju’ varied between 65 and 81 g, characterized by a high flat round shape. The ‘Suanju’ rootstock demonstrated a higher sugar and acid content compared to other rootstocks. Additionally, the single fruit weight of Citrus nobilis Lour. ‘Gonggan’ ranged from 62 to 145 g, with the fruit shape being either round or oval. The soluble sugar and total soluble solids content associated with the ‘Zhike’ rootstock was also elevated. In relation to photosynthetic characteristics, the photosynthetic performance of the ‘Shatangju’ variety was superior when grafted onto the ‘Zhike’ and ‘Hongju’ rootstocks. Similarly, the ‘Chuntianju’ variety exhibited enhanced photosynthetic performance on the ‘Zhike’, ‘Zhicheng’, and ‘Hongju’ rootstocks. Furthermore, the ‘Gonggan’ variety demonstrated improved photosynthetic performance when grafted onto the ‘Zhike’ and ‘Suanju’ rootstocks. [Conclusions] Based on the characteristics of the red loam soil in the Zhaoqing region, the rootstocks ‘Zhike’ and ‘Hongju’ are conducive to the cultivation of the ‘Shatangju’ variety. Additionally, the rootstocks ‘Zhike’, ‘Zhicheng’, and ‘Hongju’ are optimal for the growth of the ‘Chuntianju’ variety, while the rootstocks ‘Zhike’ and ‘Suanju’ are appropriate for the growth of the ‘Gonggan’ variety
Integrated Prevention and Control Technology for Coffee Leaf Rust in Yunnan Province
This paper investigates the damage symptoms and occurrence regularity related to coffee leaf rust, and proposes a comprehensive prevention and control strategy grounded in the principle of prioritizing prevention and implementing integrated prevention and control. This strategy encompasses the cultivation of rust-resistant varieties, the implementation of agricultural practices, the application of chemical interventions, the utilization of hyperparasitic fungi, and the protection and utilization of natural enemies. The paper further outlines the necessary requirements for effective prevention and control, emphasizing the importance of enhancing responsibility implementation, fostering systematic prevention and control measures, enhancing guidance services, and increasing publicity and guidance. The aim is to offer technical guidance for the integrated prevention and control of coffee leaf rust in Yunnan Province

Farm-Mortgage Loans of the Federal Land Banks
Report Introduction: The cooperative Federal land bank system has offered farm-mortgage loans to farmers since 1917. Land banks now hold more than one-sixth of the total farm-mortgage debt outstanding. The major objective of the land bank system is to provide farmers with an adequate dependable source of farm real estate credit at all times from funds obtained chiefly from sales of bonds in investment markets. Land bank loans are available in all States. These loans have several features that borrowers have always found attractive. These features include full amortization, interest rates which in most areas are usually lower than those charged by other lenders, and the option of advance repayment without penalty. The purpose of the study reported here is to show the relative importance of Federal land bank lending in the 1950-57 period, the characteristics of loans made in this period, and the characteristics of land bank loans outstanding on June 30, 1956. The data used are from the regular statistics of the Farm Credit Administration and the Farm Economics Research Division, Agricultural Research Service, and from a special survey of land bank loans. The survey obtained data on approximately 10 percent of all land bank loans outstanding on June 30, 1956

Excerpts: The United States Department of Agriculture and the State colleges and experiment stations of the spring and winter wheat regions, in conformity with the research program laid out for 1922, the object of which was to determine the systems of farming, the methods and practices in crop and livestock production best suited to different parts of the region, and the financial situation confronting the farmers, continued the investigation in 1923. In the summer of 1922 an investigation was made among farmers of Northeastern Montana and the results were published in a report "Farming in Northeastern Montana." In 1923 a record of progress was obtained from most of the men who were interviewed the previous year. This report supersedes the previous one and shows the progress and the comparative changes in the farming and financial situation for the years 1921 and 1922
Tourism carrying capacity as dynamic property of complex socio-ecological systems
Overtourism is not just overcrowding: it is a systemic imbalance sustained by feedbacks between visitors, residents’ welfare, the performance of local facilities, and environmental quality. Tourism carrying capacity sits at the centre of overtourism research and policy, yet it is still commonly operationalised as static visitor limits, implicitly assuming that thresholds could be set without accounting for the feedbacks they are meant to regulate. Here we introduce a minimal dynamical model that retains the essential feedbacks through which residents, tourists, economic capital, and environmental quality co-evolve. From this model, a formal definition of tourism carrying capacity emerges as a state-dependent quantity shaped by economic conditions, environmental quality, and social responses, and tempered by congestion and competitive pressure. Crucially, capacity alone is a weak planning target: sustainability depends on the long-run regime selected by the coupled system, and on how that regime shifts under perturbations. A bifurcation analysis of policy-relevant parameters maps tipping points and the resulting regime structure, from stable coexistence to multistability and sustained oscillations, including overtourism outcomes where tourism and capital persist while residents and environmental quality collapse. Overall, the results clarify, in a unified and rigorous setting, why capacity thresholds may inadequately reflect the dynamic complexity of tourism systems, and how integrated dynamical analyses can inform more robust policy design
