Determining the number of charging statitions for electric vehicles in a parking lot covered with photovoltaic panels
U radu su opisane osnovne značajke vezane za punionice za električna vozila, standardi koji propisuju zahtjeve za punjenje električnih vozila, tipovi punionica, vrste priključaka, stanje s punionicama u Republici Hrvatskoj te utjecaj punionica na elektroenergetski sustav. Opisana je regulativa u RH za kupce u kategoriji poduzetništvo. Opisano je funkcioniranje fotonaponskih sustava sa punionicama za električna vozila. U praktičnom dijelu rada, određen je broj punionica za električna vozila koji se može postaviti na parkiralištu prekrivenom fotonaponskim panelima. Analizirani su slučajevi parkirališta namijenjenog kupcima trgovačkog centra i parkirališta namijenjenog zaposlenicima neke ustanove ili tvrtke. Na osnovu snage i godišnje proizvodnje FN elektrane određen je broj punionica uz mogućnost isporuke viška električne energije u mrežu i preuzimanja električne energije iz mreže kada nema dovoljno proizvodnje iz fotonaponske elektrane.The paper describes the basic features related to electric vehicle charging stations, standards prescribing requirements for charging electric vehicles, types of charging stations, types of connectors, the status of charging stations in the Republic of Croatia, and the impact of charging stations on the electrical power system. The regulation in Croatia for customers in the entrepreneurship category is outlined. The operation of photovoltaic systems with electric vehicle charging stations is also described. In the practical part of the paper, the number of electric vehicle charging stations that can be installed in a parking area covered with photovoltaic panels is determined. The cases of a shopping center customer parking lot and an institution or company employee parking lot are analyzed. Based on the power and annual production of the photovoltaic plant, the number of charging stations is determined, with the possibility of delivering surplus electrical energy to the grid and taking electrical energy from the grid when there is insufficient production from the photovoltaic plant
Automated smoke testing of web application
Cilj ovog diplomskog rada jest automatiziranje testiranja za internet aplikaciju ParaBank. Opisana je važnost testiranja i vrste testiranja koje se provode prilikom testiranja aplikacija. Naglasak je na provođenju smoke testiranja koje osigurava ispravan rad glavnih funkcionalnosti aplikacije te je analizirano na koji način automatizirano testiranje može rasteretiti inženjera osiguranja kvalitete. Testiranje je provedeno praćenjem testnih slučajeva raspisanih nakon analize aplikacije i njenih funkcionalnosti. Programskim jezikom JavaScript napisan je programski kôd za automatizirane testove korištenjem alata Cypress. Rezultati provođenja automatiziranih testova analizirani su i uspoređeni s rezultatima manualnog testiranja u vidu broja pronađenih pogrešaka u radu aplikacije, trajanju izvođenja testova i broja pokrivenih testnih slučajeva. Analizom rezultata donesen je zaključak o isplativosti provođenja automatiziranog testiranja.The goal of this thesis is the automation of testing for the Internet application ParaBank. The importance of testing and the types of testing that are performed during application testing are described. The emphasis is on the implementation of smoke testing, which ensures the correct behavior of the main functionalities of the application, and it is analyzed how automated testing can relieve the Quality Assurance Engineer. The testing was conducted by following the test cases written after analysis of application and its functionalities. Programming code for automated tests using Cypress tool was written in the JavaScript programming language. The results of conducting automated tests were analyzed and compared with results of manual testing in the form of the number of errors found in application, the duration of the tests and the number of covered test cases. By analyzing the results, a conclusion was reached about profitability of conducting automated testing
Small wind turbines
Ovaj se rad bavi malim vjetroelektranama, njihovim agregatima te potencijalnim lokacijama za njihovu ugradnju. Nakon što su pojašnjenji mehanizmi na kojima se zasnivaju vjetroelektrane zajedno sa njihovom povijesti, objašnjene su potom prednosti i nedostatci malih vjetroelektrana. Zatim su analizirane različite lokacije Republike Hrvatske kao potencijalne lokacije za ugradnju malih vjetroelektrana te su na temelju steknutih znanja donešene procjene isplativosti. Na kraju se rad dotiče trenutne situacije pitanja malih vjetroelektrana u Republici Hrvatskoj te je potom donesen i zaključak ovog rada.This paper addresses small wind turbines, their units, and potential installation locations. After explaining the mechanisms on which wind turbines are based, along with their history, the advantages and disadvantages of small wind turbines are then discussed. Subsequently, various locations in the Republic of Croatia are analyzed as potential sites for the installation of small wind turbines, and profitability estimates are made based on the acquired knowledge. Finally, the paper addresses the current situation regarding small wind turbines in the Republic of Croatia, followed by the conclusion of this paper
Web application for arranging online consultations
Ovaj rad se bavi problematikom organizacije konzultacija između studenata i profesora na akademskim institucijama. U cilju optimizacije ovog procesa, razvijena je web aplikacija koja koristi najsavremenije tehnologije, uključujući PHP, Laravel, Angular i MySQL. Aplikacija je dizajnirana da bude robusna, skalabilna i lako održiva, s posebnim fokusom na sigurnost i performanse. Integracijom s Google kalendarom i Google Meet platformom, aplikacija nudi proširene funkcionalnosti i poboljšava korisničko iskustvo. Osim što zadovoljava sve postavljene funkcionalne i nefunkcionalne zahtjeve, aplikacija pruža osnovu za buduće nadogradnje i proširenja. Kroz ovaj rad, čitatelj će dobiti uvid u ključne aspekte razvoja aplikacije, od arhitekture i tehnologija do sigurnosnih mjera i mogućnosti za buduće nadogradnje.This paper addresses the issue of organizing consultations between students and professors at academic institutions. To optimize this process, a web application has been developed using state-of-the-art technologies, including PHP, Laravel, Angular, and MySQL. The application is designed to be robust, scalable, and easily maintainable, with a special focus on security and performance. By integrating with Google Calendar and the Google Meet platform, the application offers extended functionalities and enhances the user experience. In addition to meeting all the set functional and non-functional requirements, the application provides a foundation for future upgrades and expansions. Through this paper, the reader will gain insight into the key aspects of the application's development, from architecture and technologies to security measures and possibilities for future upgrades
Web system for the purchase of floor coverings support with a web shop and search engine optimization
Cilj završnog rada je razvoj web sustava za kupovinu podnih obloga, uključujući implementaciju određenih tehnika za optimizaciju tražilice koje su dostupne u Vue.js te spremanje autentificiranih korisnika u Cloud Firestore. Aplikacija nudi korisnicima osnovne i najpotrebnije informacije o obrtu koji se bavi laminatima, funkcionalnost pregleda, odabira i simulaciju kupovine, uz pomoć sučelja Stripe, raznovrsne ponude laminata te korištenje kalkulatora za okvirno izračunavanje potrebne količine materijala. Na strani korisnika, za izradu korisničkog sučelja, korišten je Vue.js. Za izradu web aplikacije na strani poslužitelja, korišteni su Firebase i Stripe API za online plaćanja.. Ispitivanjem aplikacije na dva različita slučaja korištenja utvrđen je ispravan rad aplikacije u smislu kupovine laminata i računanja potrebne duljine lajsni.The aim of the final project is the development of a web system for purchasing floor coverings, including the implementation of specific search engine optimization techniques available in Vue.js and the storage of authenticated users in Cloud Firestore. The application provides users with basic and essential information about a laminate business, functionality for browsing, selecting, and simulating purchases, with the assistance of the Stripe interface, a diverse range of laminates, and the use of a calculator for approximate calculations of required material quantities. On the user side, Vue.js was utilized for creating the user interface, while Firebase and the Stripe API were employed to build the server-side web application for online payments. The application's functionality was validated through testing in two distinct usage scenarios, confirming its correct operation for laminate purchases and calculating the required length of moldings
Smart power grid technologies
U diplomskom radu objašnjena je razlika između konvencionalni elektroenergetskih mreža i naprednih elektroenergetskih mreža. U nastavku su objašnjenje temeljne tehnologije naprednih elektroenergetskih mreža te njihov način rada. Također je navedena njihova primjena u različitim dijelovima mreže i problemi koji se smanjuju ili potpuno eliminiraju upotrebom određenje tehnologije. Tijekom objašnjavanja načina rada navedene su i prednosti i mane koje donosi određena tehnologija. U drugom dijelu diplomskog rada objašnjeno je korištenje SCADA sustava na primjeru fotonaponske elektrane na zgradi FERIT-a. SCADA sustav služi za nadzor, mjerenje i upravljanje raznih parametara određenog sustava, u ovom slučaju fotonaponske elektrane, koristeći razne informacijske i komunikacijske tehnologije implementirane u energetski dio fotonaponske elektrane.The thesis explains the difference between conventional power grids and smart grids. Further, there are an explanation of fundamental technologies of smart grids and their working principle. It also specifies their application in different parts of the network and problems that are reduced or completely eliminated using a particular technology. While explaining working principle, both pros and cons are discussed for every mentioned technology. In the second part of the thesis, SCADA system is explained on the example of a photovoltaic power plant on the building of Faculty of electrical engineering, computing and information technologies Osijek. The SCADA system is used for monitoring, metering and managment of various parameters of a particular system, in this case a photovoltaic power plant, using various information and communication technologies implemented in the power grid part of a photovoltaic power plant
Determination of electrical plan of the existing electrical installation
Projektiranje električne instalacije prizemlja FERIT-a je kompliciran proces koji smo istraživali duži
vremenski period. Prvi dio zadatka koji smo napravili je taj da smo popisali i naznačili brojeve i
mjesta samih utičnica, sklopki i rasvjetnih tijela. Zatim smo to prikazali u AutoCad-u kako bi
čitateljima jasno prikazali stanje električne instalacije u svim predavaonicama, labosima i ostalim
prostorijama. Nakon toga smo u utičnice uključivali potrošače (indikatore) te spuštali osigurače
pripadajućeg rasklopnog ormara kako bi odredili koji osigurač služi za koju utičnicu, prekidač ili
rasvjetno tijelo. Izradili smo jednopolne sheme za svaki rasklopni ormar u prizemlju koji smo istražili
te uvelike olakšali posao ljudima koji će se njima koristiti u slučaju nužde. Sve to smo ukomponirali
u ovaj završni rad, objasnili osnove električne instalacije i tehničke dokumentacije, kojim smo
pokušali uvesti čitatelje u ovaj proces projektiranja električne instalacije, kako bi do dijela gdje smo
izradili jednopolne sheme već znali što su one i za što nam služe.Designing the electrical installation of the ground floor of FERIT is a complicated process that we
have been researching for a long period of time. The first part of the task we did was that we listed
and indicated the numbers and locations of the sockets, switches and lighting fixtures themselves.
Then we displayed it in AutoCad in order to clearly show readers the state of the electrical installation
in all lecture rooms, labs and other rooms. After that, we connected the consumers (indicators) to the
sockets and lowered the fuses of the associated switch cabinet in order to determine which fuse is
used for which socket, switch or lighting fixture. We've created single-pole schematics for every
ground floor switch cabinet we've investigated, making it a lot easier for the people who will be using
them in an emergency. We incorporated all of this into this final paper, explained the basics of
electrical installation and technical documentation, with which we tried to introduce the readers to
this process of designing electrical installation, so that they already know what they are and what they
are for by the part where we made single-pole schemes
Starting synchronous motors
U radu su objašnjeni principi rada sinkronih motora kao i primjena sinkronih motora u različitim postrojenjima, te njihov rad u stabilnom stanju pri sinkronoj brzini. Uvidom u princip rada shvatili smo da postoji problem pokretanja kod sinkronih motora te da problem pokretanja rješavamo različitim načinima pokretanja motora koji uvelike mogu olakšati pokretanje sinkronom motoru do ostvarenja sinkronizma.This paper explains the principles of operation of synchronous motors as well as the application of synchronous motors in different plants, and their operation in a stable state at synchronous speed. By examining the principle of operation, we realized that there is a problem of starting in synchronous motors and that the problem of starting is solved by different ways of starting the engine, which can greatly facilitate the start of the synchronous motor to the realization of synchronism
Monitor color calibration
U radu je opisan uređaj Inkplate 10 te uređaji Raspberry Pi 4 i Raspberry Pi Camera Module koji bi se zajedno u kontroliranom okruženju, koje je također skicirano u radu, mogli koristiti za kalibraciju ekrana uređaja Inkplate. S obzirom na nedostatak svih potrebnih dijelova za stvaranje okoline s instaliranim rečenim uređajima umjesto Raspberry Pi 4 i Raspberry Pi Camera Modula za analizu i testiranje korištena je ljudska pomoć. Rad je djelomično i uspješan jer je napisan program uz čiju se pomoć svejedno ubrzala kalibracija ekrana te je i dalje moguća nadogradnja s ciljem da se izbaci potreba za ljudskom pomoći.Thesis describes the Inkplate 10 device, as well as the Raspberry Pi 4 and Raspberry Pi Camera Module, which can be used together in a controlled environment, also outlined in the article, for the calibration of the Inkplate device's screen. Due to the lack of all the necessary components to create an environment with the mentioned devices installed, human assistance was used instead of the Raspberry Pi 4 and Raspberry Pi Camera Module for analysis and testing. The work is partially successful because a program was written to expedite the screen calibration, and further upgrades are possible with the aim of eliminating the need for human assistance
Human hand pose robot perception
U ovom završnom radu predstavljen je sustav u kojemu čovjek zadaje zadatke robotu simbolom prikazanog rukom. Nakon što je sakupljena baza RGB slika na kojima se nalazi ljudska ruka u nekoj od sljedećih poza: otvoreni dlan s ispruženim prstima, stisnuta šaka s podignutim palcem („like“) i stisnuta šaka s podignutim kažiprstom, slike su analizirane pomoću OpenPose modela. Pomoću modela, na slikama je detektirana ljudska ruka i značajke koje predstavljaju set od 21 točke zglobova prstiju i šake. Potom, izvađena polja točaka spremljena su u CSV datoteku i transformirana u novi koordinatni sustav s ishodištem u zglobu zapešća. Takvi podatci dani su klasifikatoru Random Forests kao ulaz. Na temelju međusobnog položaja transformiranih značajki treniran je klasifikator. Skup za treniranje i testiranje raspoređen je u omjeru 80:20. Uspješnost klasifikatora izmjerena je preciznošću i točnošću od 98.5%. Eksperimenti su provedeni i na stvarnom robotu UR5 pomoću ROS-a, gdje je na temelju izlaza iz klasifikatora, robot izvršavao predefinirane kretnje.In this final paper, a system is presented in which a person assigns tasks to a robot with the symbol shown by the hand. After collecting a database of RGB images of a human hand in one of the following poses: open palm with fingers extended, clenched fist with thumb raised ("like"), and clenched fist with index finger raised, the images were analyzed using the OpenPose model. Using the model, a human hand and features representing a set of 21 points of the finger and hand joints are detected in the images. Then, the extracted point fields were saved in a CSV file and transformed into a new coordinate system with the origin at the wrist. This data is given as input to the Random Forests classifier. The classifier was trained based on the mutual position of the transformed features. The set for training and testing is distributed in a ratio of 80:20. The success of the classifier was measured with a precision and accuracy of 98.5%. Experiments were also conducted with the real UR5 robot using ROS, where the robot performed predefined motions based on the output of the classifier
