The Factors Affecting on Managing Sensitive Data in Cloud Computing
Cloud computing represents the most important shift in computing and information technology (IT). However, security and privacy remain the main obstacles to its widespread adoption. In this research we will review the security and privacy challenges that affect critical data in cloud computing and identify solutions that are used to address these challenges. Some questions that need answers are: (a) User access management, (b) Protect privacy of sensitive data, (c) Identity anonymity to protect the Identity of user and data file. To answer these questions, a systematic literature review was conducted and structured interview with several security experts working on cloud computing security to investigate the main objectives of proposed framework, a pilot study by using a structured questionnaire was conducted. Wireless Environment Aware Adaptive Scheduling Technique For Cellular Networks
It is now well known that employing channel knowledge based on signaling techniques in wireless mobile ad-hoc networks (MANET) system can yield large improvements in almost all performance metric. Here we proposed the adaptive scheduling, in which the work done is based upon the bandwidth information of channel to provide better quality of service (‘QoS’) to the cell-edge mobile stations. Channel information is critical based on which scheduling is carried out. The bandwidth channel information contains estimation delay, the pilot channel noise and pilot contamination. Afterwards, Zero Forcing precoding methodology has applied for removing the interference at user nodes, destination nodes and gateway side. By extending the characteristics of ZF, the modified Zero Forcing (MZF) has proposed to achieve higher throughput rate and higher spectrum efficiency. The achievable-rates of the ZF and MZF has derived under the comprehensive model of imperfect bandwidth information
Coevolution of Second-order-mutant
One of the obstacles that hinder the usage of mutation testing is its impracticality, two main contributors of this are a large number of mutants and a large number of test cases involves in the process. Researcher usually tries to address this problem by optimizing the mutants and the test case separately. In this research, we try to tackle both of optimizing mutant and optimizing test-case simultaneously using a coevolution optimization method. The coevolution optimization method is chosen for the mutation testing problem because the method works by optimizing multiple collections (population) of a solution. This research found that coevolution is better suited for multi-problem optimization than other single population methods (i.e. Genetic Algorithm), we also propose new indicator to determine the optimal coevolution cycle. Design of Digital Parity Generator Layout Using 0.7 micron Technology
The proposed digital parity generator circuit is an integrated circuit functions to detect data errors at the transmitter end, and check it at the receiving end. In digital communications, the digital messages are transmitted in the form of 1’s and 0’s between two points. It is an error free if both are the same. The purpose of this research is to implement a design method of digital parity generator layout with 0.7 micron process technology ECPD07 from Tanner Tools. Layout design starts from making schematic circuit, test function and make a layout. Next, check the layout results in terms of design rules and verify the desired functionality gradually. The results show that the circuit has functioned well as an odd parity generator. The simulation results obtained with loads CL = 25 fF, tpLH = 2nS and tpHL = 1.46 nS indicate that tp = 1.73nS or operating frequency of 578 MHz. The integrated digital parity generator circuit using transmission gate has a size of 14758 um2 (78.5 um x188 um), consisting of 74 gates.
Fuel Station Monitoring and Automation based on WSN
The Iraqi fuel station still now uses old technologies to control its activities from filling tanks to the filling cars. Automate the activity of fuel station is the objective of this work. The aims of fuel station automation are to save the fuel quantities and qualities supplied in fuel station, and to keep the fuel station, the worker and its main parts safe. This work uses the national instrument wireless sensor network (NI WSN). The NI WSN used to automate the protection system and level controlling system which makes the fuel station work under normal ambient temperature, and normal protection conditions. Automation based on a wireless sensor network gives excellent capabilities to automate and monitor fuel station. Through the user interface window the user monitor the status of actuators, protection system controller messages, fuel levels, water level, environment temperature, power source and its quality. The soft controller developed was built within The LABVIEW environment. The results of controller give the desired action through "on" and “off” states of the actuators
The Building of Pulsed NQR/NMR Spectrometer
NQR spectrometer designed is composed of four modules; Transmitter, Probe, Receiver and computer controlled (FPGA & Software) module containing frequency synthesizer, synchronous demodulator, pulse programmer and display. The function of the Transmitter module is to amplify the RF pulse sequence to about 200 W power level into the probe (50 Ohm) which is a parallel resonance circuit with a tapped capacitor. The probe excites the nucleus and picks-up the signal emitted from the nuclei. The nuclear signal at the same frequency as the excitation, which is typically in the range of a few microvolts is amplified, demodulated and filtered (1 kHz to 100 kHz) by receiver module. 14N NQR , 1H and 2H NMR signals are observed from the spectrometer.As the SNR of NQR signal is very low ,NQR signal processing based on Adaptive Line Enhancement is presented
Prediction Outcome for Massive Multiplayer Online Games Using Data Mining
Massive Multiplayer Online (MMO) game is one of the famous game genres among teenagers nowadays. MMO games allow gamers to interact and play with up to thousand players. Rainbow Six Siege (RSS) belongs to MMO type of game. However, due to many operators that are available in this game, the player needs to choose the right operator to counter the enemy operator. Therefore, based on the characteristic of the selected operator, this paper attempted to predict the outcomes of the game. In our prediction model, characteristics for these operators were extracted from 120 live stream replays. Three classification algorithms were utilized to predict the outcome of the game. Among these algorithms, IBK had obtained outstanding performance in the dataset. The accuracy of the model is 93.75%, applying 5-fold cross-validation test. The success rate reveals that our proposed model is suitable to predict the outcome of the game
Prospect Convenient Steadfast Procedure in Wireless Sensor Network
This article objective is to improve the steadfast routing in Wireless Sensor Networks with little interfering and avoid packet collision. In the scheme, the entire node has the option of electing next Data Communication Node (DCN). The next data communication node is chosen depend on the intensity of link, remaining energy, and the node with distance towards the Base Station. Thus, the sender node transmits the information to the best DCN. Instantly, the DCN sends the acknowledgement (ACK) along with the number of packets received back to the node from which it obtains the data. The sender node assures the delivery of the transmitted packets by comparing the value of number of packets sent with the value obtained with the acknowledgement. If they are equivalent, it will send the verification identity to the DCN. If it is not equivalent, it will decide another node with highest link intensity. After that, the data chooses the DCN and repeat the process until the data reaches the Base Station
Modeling of 120W Monocrystalline Photovoltaic Module using MATLAB Simulink
This project aims to model a solar Photovoltaic (PV) Module using MATLAB Simulink. In Renewable Energy (RE) field, many studies have been carried out to determine the level of efficiency and performance of a specific PV module. Therefore, this research will carry out the modeling of the 120W Monocrystalline Photovoltaic Module by Su-Kam Solar using MATLAB Simulink to determine the efficiency and performance. The input parameters that consists of Solar Irradiance (G) and Temperature (T) data will be collected at location 1.8635° N, 103.1089° E which is in Parit Raja, Batu Pahat, Johor. The results are shown in I-V curve and P-V curve and compared with the theory of I-V and P-V curve. Other than that, the PV module have different performance in different value of irradiance and temperature. Lastly, the PV Module is work efficiently and full performance at Standard Test Conditon (STC)
Thermal Effect of Wind Generation on Conventional Generator in a Microgrid
In order to reduce CO2 emissions, which is one of the key strategy in combatting global warming, development of wind energy technology as source of renewable energy has become more important globally. However, the variability of the wind speeds leads to the intermittent nature of wind power generation. The conventional generators in the system must be able to compensate this fluctuation to maintain system stability and meet the load demand in the grid. This in turn may increase the temperature of the conventional generators beyond what normally occurs without wind generation in the grid. The aim of the paper is to inestigate the effect of thermal heating of the generators due to the variable output of wind generation in different time of the year in a microgrid by proposing proper modelling in the simulation. The simulations are done in 24 hours period in four different time of the years corresponding to different seasons of the year
