How Institutional Pressure Affects Organizational Citizenship Behavior for the Environment: The Moderated Mediation Effect of Green Management Practice
International audienceThe processes of sustainable development, environmental management, and green performance are inseparable from people’s active participation, and organizational citizenship behavior for the environment (OCBE) has a significant function in promoting that process. We construct a moderated mediating effect model of green management practice by introducing institutional pressure and green emotion into the formation mechanism of OCBE based on neo-institutionalism theory and the theory of planned behavior. Taking matched employees of cross-regional organizations as a sample, we conducted a longitudinal tracking questionnaire survey. The results show a positive correlation between institutional pressure and OCBE, mediated by green emotion. Additionally, the paper discovered that green management practice moderated the relationships between institutional pressure and OCBE, green emotion and OCBE, and institutional pressure and green emotion. Furthermore, green management practice also moderates the strength of the mediating effect of green emotion between institutional pressure and OCBE. The findings provide some guidance for promoting organizational sustainable development and achieving organizational green transformation
Serial coping to anxiety under a pandemic and subsequent regulation of vice food and beverage consumption among young adults
International audienceThe COVID-19 pandemic has prompted great anxiety for most people worldwide. Building on the coping literature and two studies, this research examines the effect of such anxiety on young (18–35 years old) adults’ consumption of vice food and beverages. Specifically, in an online experiment using a UK sample (N = 211), we first identify the feeling of helplessnessas the reason why anxious people accept a situation less and reinterpret it less positively. Then, in a large study in France (N = 1,006), we show that these coping mechanisms of acceptance and positive reinterpretation explain why individuals engage in unhealthy consumption as a response to their anxiety. From this serial coping explanation of the effects of anxiety, this article then offers implications for social marketers and public policymakers, particularly with respect to young people’s well-being and physical health

Cognitive frames held by supply chain managers: Implications for the management of sustainability in supply chains: .
International audienceDespite the growing importance and complexity of modern supply chains, little scholarly attention has been devoted to cognitive processes in supply chain management (SCM). In particular, we know little about the structure of supply chain managers’ cognitive frames and how differences between frames affect sustainable supply chain management (SSCM)
The -path coloring problem in graphs with bounded treewidth: an application in integrated circuit manufacturing
In this paper, we investigate the -path coloring problem, a variant of vertex coloring arising in the context of integrated circuit manufacturing. In this setting, typical industrial instances exhibit a `tree-like' structure. We exploit this property to design an efficient algorithm for our industrial problem: (i) on the methodological side, we show that the -path coloring problem can be solved in polynomial time on graphs with bounded treewidth and we devise a simple polytime dynamic programming algorithm in this case (not relying on Courcelle's celebrated theorem); and (ii) on the empirical side, we provide computational evidences that the corresponding algorithm could be suitable for practice, by testing our algorithm on true instances obtained from an on-going collaboration with Mentor Graphics. We finally compare this approach with integer programming on some pseudo-industrial instances. It suggests that dynamic programming cannot compete with integer programming when the tree-width is greater than three. While all our industrial instances exhibit such a small tree-width, this is not for granted that all future instances will also do, and this tend to advocate for integer programming approaches

US Stock return predictability with high dimensional models: .
International audienceWe examine the role of large information sets in the predictability of US stock using a large data set of over 400 predictors covering macro-, financial-, trade- and commodity-related variables over the period of 1960:Q1 to 2018:Q4. We consider 13 alternative models ranging from autoregressive models with no predictors to 5-factor, 60-factor and high dimensional models with over 400 predictors including assumptions of constant and time varying coefficients. We find that models that incorporate large predictors improve US stock return predictability. The outcome particularly favours models involving Dynamic Variable Selection prior with Variational Bayes (VBDV) for density forecast
