Mi amigo Senén Vidal. Una vida fecunda al servicio de la biblia
Get PDFXabier Pikaza, companion and friend of Senén Vidal, collects the main moments of his life, teaching and theological itinerary, in a paper that is divided into two parts. (A) The first, more biographical, focuses on the doctoral thesis of S. Vidal (1979) and the years of his professorship at the Pontifical University of Salamanca (1980-1984), explaining the reasons for his “cessation”, which has marked his entire personal and intellectual life. (B) The second part, a bio-bibliographical type, collects and analyzes the themes and moments of S. Vidal’s research, highlighting his analysis of Paul’s “corpus”, the unfolding of Jesus’ history and the translation and commentary on the New Testament; it concludes by recalling the legacy of his biblical life, which was to end with a History of Primitive Christianity. Xabier Pikaza, compañero y amigo de Senén Vidal, recoge los momentos principales de su itinerario vital, docente y teológico, en un trabajo que se divide en dos partes. (a) La primera, de tipo más biográfico, se centra en la tesis doctoral de S. Vidal (1979) y en sus años de docencia en la Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca (1980-1984), exponiendo las razones de su “cese”, que ha marcado toda su vida personal e intelectual. (b) La segunda parte de tipo bio-bibliográfico, recoge y analiza los tema y momentos de la investigación de S. Vidal, poniendo de relieve su análisis de “corpus” de Pablo, el despliegue de la historia de Jesús y la traducción y comentario de conjunto del Nuevo Testamento, para terminar evocando el legado de su vida de biblista, que debía terminar con una Historia del Cristianismo Primitivo

Get PDFThe progressive fall of the kingdom of Judah into the hands of the Babylonian empire, with successive deportations, gave rise to the most critical and at the same time prolific stage of the religion of Israel. The first reaction among those deported was despair and regret. However, the exile was interpreted by the prophet Jeremiah as an event in God’s plans. The people must live this painful time prepared by God with intensity. For this they must rebuild their lives by settling in Babylon, waiting for God to end the exile and allow the people to be born again. The prophet Jeremiah, from Jerusalem, makes his voice heard among those deported through a letter. This letter and the reaction he created in the community in exile have been reflected in chapter 29 of the book of Jeremiah which constitutes an exceptional Biblical testimony of prophecy by correspondence. La progresiva caída del reino de Judá en manos del imperio babilonio, con las sucesivas deportaciones, dio origen a la etapa más crítica y a la vez fecunda de la religión de Israel. La primera reacción entre los deportados fue la desesperación y el lamento. Sin embargo, el exilio fue interpretado por el profeta Jeremías como un acontecimiento en los planes de Dios. El pueblo debe vivir con intensidad este tiempo doloroso dispuesto por Dios. Para ello deben reconstruir sus vidas asentándose en Babilonia, en espera de que Dios ponga fin al exilio y renazca un nuevo pueblo. El profeta Jeremías, desde Jerusalén, hace oír su voz entre los deportados a través de una carta. Dicha misiva y la reacción que creó en la comunidad en el exilio han quedado reflejadas en el capítulo 29 del libro de Jeremías que constituye un excepcional testimonio bíblico de profecía por correspondencia

No full textThe books of religious professions are a documentary source of first order for the knowledge of the human, cultural and social characteristics of the members of a religious province.Throughout seven consecutive works will be presented each of the books of professions that are conserved of the convent San Agustín of Saragossa (1605-1834, except the book seventh, 1730-1799, to be lost) and the basic data of the professors: Name of parents, place of origin or birth, parish of baptism, date of religious profession, name of the prior (or subprior) of the house and prior general of the Order of St. Augustine, who was the master of novices, and even the notary who testified to the fact of the profession. In turn, the acts of profession offer other details of no less importance to the multifaceted task of the historian. This article deals with the third book of professions of the convent San Agustín de Zaragoza (1650-1664).Los libros de profesiones religiosas son una fuente documental de primer orden para el conocimiento de las características humanas, culturales y sociales de los miembros de una provincia religiosa. A lo largo de siete trabajos consecutivos se presentará cada uno de los libros de profesiones que se conservan del convento San Agustín de Zaragoza (1605-1834; excepto el libro séptimo, 1730-1799, por encontrarse extraviado) y los datos básicos de los profesantes: nombre/s y apellidos, nombre de sus padres, lugar de origen o nacimiento, parroquia de bautismo, fecha de profesión religiosa, nombre del prior (o subprior) de la casa y del prior general de la Orden de San Agustín, quién fue el maestro de novicios, e incluso el notario que daba fe del hecho de la profesión. A su vez, las actas de profesión ofrecen otros pormenores de no menor importancia para el multifacético quehacer del historiador. Is it rational believing or to have faith? May the Christians justify rationally their own beliefs? For example, May they justify that they have experienced the salvation of God through Jesus Christ? Or, we would have to answer saying that such experience of God is very personal and is beyond the rationality. We have tried to analyze is that the Christian believer based in his own religious experience could affirm and justify that his religious belief is rational.En este artículo vamos a analizar y estudiar los recursos y posibilidades de justificación de la creencia en Dios, y más en concreto, el Dios cristiano, basados en los argumentos que nos proporciona la experiencia religiosa. ¿Es racional creer o tener fe? ¿Pueden los cristianos justificar racionalmente sus creencias? Por ejemplo, ¿Pueden justificar que han experimentado la salvación de Dios por medio de Jesucristo? O tendremos que responder diciendo, que tal experiencia de Dios es muy personal y está más allá de la racionalidad.
