Przemocowe zachowania erotycznew prozie Marka Hłaski
The article aims at showing the ways Marek Hlasko presents references to strong violence contrasted with a clear emphasis on intimate spheres. The protagonists often engage in sexual acts that take the form of violent, even destructive acts. Hlasko\u27s depiction of eroticism, described in the current sketch, can be confidently interpreted as a form of allegory of the social tensions the author intended to portray. Erotic violence here is not only a means of artistic expression but also a tool for analyzing society, which shockingly exposes its vices and depravities. The article aims at showing the ways Marek Hlasko presents references to strong violence contrasted with a clear emphasis on intimate spheres. Prostitution and its perception as a social and economic phenomenon in Iran and the Caucasus in the late Middle Ages
The connection between the Iranian world and the Caucasus is longstanding and encompasses various areas, including history, culture, language and religion. The objective of this article is to investi-gate the prevalence and taxation of prostitution in late medieval Iran from the inception of the Mongol period (Ilkhanate) to the decline of the Safavids. Prostitution was increasingly perceived as a form of tra-de and was therefore subject to taxation in the same way as other forms of trade. Notwithstanding the efforts of secular authorities to eradicate it and in spite of the fact that in Muslim Iran prostitution was deemed a breach of Islamic law, the practice endured on a notable scale. The connection between the Iranian world and the Caucasus is longstanding and encompasses various areas, including history, culture, language and religion. Germany according to Ancient Armenian Geography (or Ashkharatsuyts)
The information from ‹‹Ancient Armenian Geography›› (Ashkharhatsuyts) about Germany is unique. Despite the fact that, for unknown reasons, the Armenian source places Gaul in the east of this country (instead of the western side), nevertheless, this does not detract from the value of information about ancient and early medieval Germany. Without hesitation, we can state the importance of information about the orography and hydrography of this country. The source presents a general picture of the country’s tribal world, on the basis of which the German people were formed in subsequent centuries. Particular attention is given to the Goths, who played almost the most important role in early medieval Europe. Additionally, the source discusses Germany’s mining industry, particularly iron mining, which is a noteworthy aspect. This information can be considered unique, since, studying the source’s descriptions about the remaining 11 European countries, we do not find any evidence about this industry. All this and other information from the Armenian source requires scrupulous study and analysis, which we have tried to do within the framework of this article. The information from ‹‹Ancient Armenian Geography›› (Ashkharhatsuyts) about Germany is unique.
