Les apports des intelligences artificielle et collective dans la construction d’un outil de ludopédagogie

    No full text
International audienceThe serious game Ethics'hotel aims at CSR training. It is a board game, intended for both high school students, university students and tourism professionals, in order to understand the measures and challenges related to the dimensions of CSR (economy, environment, society). It places particular emphasis on the complex position of the CSR manager within an organization. Our communication presents the method of co-construction of the tool and the results of an action-research conducted in French Polynesia with hotel professionals and Master’s students in Management and International Business. The training workshops conducted with these audiences have allowed not only to evolve the pedagogical game but above all to increase the skills of both students in initial training and professionals already aware of CSR issues. The results are discussed from the perspective of artificial intelligence and collective intelligence contributions.

Campaigning across platforms: how party status, social profiles, and emotional tone shaped user engagement with French MPs during the 2022 presidential election

    No full text
International audienceThis article examines audience engagement with posts published by 387 French MPs on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter during the 2022 presidential election (N = 35,348). Using a supervised machine learning method, we investigate how engagement varies according to MPs' political affiliation, social characteristics, post topics, and emotional tone. The findings reveal that party status shapes online visibility: posts from opposition MPs, particularly those from radical parties, consistently elicit higher engagement than those from the governing party, which tends to favor neutral and coordination-oriented messaging. Social underrepresentation also plays a role: younger, rural, and female MPs generate more engagement in specific contexts, yet these effects vary substantially across platforms. For instance, women and urban MPs receive more reactions on Twitter, whereas Facebook and Instagram favor rural MPs. These platform-dependent patterns suggest that audience engagement is shaped not only by asymmetries in political status and social background, but also by platform-specific affordances: Facebook and Instagram tend to reward locally embedded and coordination-oriented communication, particularly among younger and rural MPs, while Twitter amplifies adversarial rhetoric and politically polarizing content, especially among urban or radical actors

Lexicography and Lexicology of Papuan languages

    No full text
International audienceThis chapter assesses the current state of lexicography and lexicology in the field of Papuan linguistics. It provides an overview of the lexicographic works available at this point in time, and discusses their functions and functionalities both for the scientific community as well as for the respective speech communities. The chapter also attempts to provide best practice examples of how to handle some of the more challenging phenomena in Papuan lexicography. This includes in particular the treatment of abstract concepts and (potential) metaphoric extensions, generic terms and lexical gaps, polysemies, compounds and phrasal expressions, and speech formulae

    Coverb constructions in Papuan languages

    No full text
International audienceCoverb constructions (aka verb adjunct constructions) have been claimed to be a typical and wide-spread phenomenon among the languages of Papua. This chapter explores the role of coverb expressions in the lexicon, their semantic and morphosyntactic properties, and possible diachronic scenarios that might have led to the loss of coverb expressions in a given language. In particular, we strive to provide operationalizable means for determining the syntactic status and the word-class membership of the light-verb complement, and for delimiting coverb expressions from other, related constructions. However, we also point to the analytical problems that remain when trying to define and delineate coverbs and coverb expressions, for example, when trying to distinguish them from verb-noun idioms

Commons theory, anti-capitalist strategies and state power: lessons from the French digital commons movement

    No full text
International audienceCommons theory traditionally explains how communities self-organize to manage shared resources sustainably through micro-institutions. However, it often overlooks the strategies that commoners employ to resist capitalist pressures and gain state support. While post-Marxist and social movement scholars have explored the links between commoners' mobilizations and the macro-institutional environments in which they are embedded, their work often lacks empirical grounding and a cohesive analytical framework, limiting the expansion of commons theory beyond the microinstitutional level. This article addresses this gap by drawing on Erik Olin Wright's framework of anti-capitalist strategies and a qualitative study of the French digital commons movement. Building on our findings, we propose an analytical framework and call for an expanded commons theory that integrates the pivotal role of political mobilizations in ensuring the long-term sustainability and potential growth of the commons. Our study opens new avenues for research at the intersection of commons theory, anti-capitalist strategies, and state power, while contributing to ongoing discussions within commons movements worldwide.</div

Quelques reconsidérations sur certaines variantes qumrâniennes du Psaume 119 (11Q5 XII-XIII)

    No full text
International audienceThe article deals with specific readings of Psalm 119 from XII and XIII columns of the Great Psalms Scroll 11Q5. The difference between the Qumran text on one side and the Masoretic Text and the other textual forms on the other can be explained in different ways: (1) as a problem in the transmission of the text (11Q5 XII 1), (2) as a modification for consistency in the Qumran Psalter (11Q5 XII 10, 11Q5 XIII 11), (3) as a linguistic feature (11Q5 XII 6), (4) or as a specific theological vision of the Qumran Psalm (11Q5 XIII 3). The present study represents an attempt to understand some readings proper to 11Q5 by comparison with the other textual witnesses and by the reconstruction of the textual context of the Psalm 119.L’article traite des variantes spécifiques du Psaume 119 tirées des colonnes XII et XIII du Grand Rouleau des Psaumes 11Q5.
