Travelling waves in non-local reaction-dispersion equations with diffuse levy measures
In this paper, we focus on the existence of propagation fronts, solutions to non-local dispersion reaction models. Our aim is to provide a unified proof of this existence in a very broad framework using simple real analysis tools. In particular, we review the results that already exist in the literature and complete the table. It appears that the most important case is that of a bistable nonlinearity, which we then extend to other classical nonlinearities

Les leakers, entre eusébie and asébie. Une nouvelle catégorie critique à la frontière de l'organisation ?
International audienceIn the context of digital capitalism and weakened journalism, leakers have emerged as ambiguous actors revealing confidential organizational information. Unlike whistleblowers or investigative journalists, they operate in a grey zone between transgression and complicity. Drawing on the concepts of asebeia and eusebeia, this study explores how leakers may challenge or reinforce power structures. A netnographic analysis of a Reddit forum reveals their dual role: promoting transparency while contributing to the commodification of information. Their actions raise questions about democracy, secrecy, and power, showing how disclosure can simultaneously disrupt and sustain organizational norms within an attention-driven, platform-dominated information economy.Dans le contexte du capitalisme numérique et d’un journalisme affaibli, les leakers apparaissent comme des acteurs ambigus révélant des informations organisationnelles confidentielles. Contrairement aux lanceurs d’alerte ou aux journalistes d’investigation, ils évoluent dans une zone grise entre transgression et complicité. En mobilisant les concepts d’asésbie et d’eusébie, cette étude explore comment les leakers peuvent à la fois remettre en question et renforcer les structures de pouvoir. Une analyse netnographique d’un forum Reddit met en lumière leur double rôle : promouvoir la transparence tout en contribuant à la marchandisation de l’information. Leurs actions soulèvent des questions sur la démocratie, le secret et le pouvoir, en montrant que la divulgation peut à la fois perturber et maintenir les normes organisationnelles dans une économie de l’information dominée par les plateformes et l’attention
Navigating and Exploring Software Dependency Graphs using Goblin
International audienceUsing package managers is a simple and common method for reusing code through project dependencies. However, these, direct, dependencies can themselves rely on additional packages, resulting in indirect dependencies. It may then become complex to get a grasp of the whole set of dependencies of a project. Beyond studying individual projects, a deep understanding of software ecosystems is also a critical prerequisite for achieving sustained success in software development. This paper presents the 2025 edition of the MSR conference mining challenge. This year's mining challenge focuses on dependencies and dependency ecosystem analysis using the Goblin framework that has been presented at the previous edition of the MSR conference. Goblin is composed of a Neo4j Maven Central dependency graph and a tool called Weaver for on-demand metric weaving into dependency graphs. As a whole, Goblin is a customizable framework for ecosystem and dependency analysis
Historicity in Organization Studies: Describing Events and Actuality at Borders of our Present
International audienceAs soon as we go beyond the borders of our present and begin to explore remote pasts and futures, management and organization scholars are exposed to two dangers. The first is the exaggeration of continuities and anachronism about the past. The second is the projection of present ordinariness into the future. So how can we describe long-term processes of entrepreneurship, accounting, marketing, finance, information systems or innovation? This edited volume gathers a team of leading interdisciplinary team of scholars inspired by process philosophy, phenomenologies, and critical schools. After presenting issues, debates, and perspectives likely to inspire and guide historical description, the book moves to the concrete translation of this endeavor. Several examples of historical work in entrepreneurship, accounting, and organization studies are then used to show situations in which researchers have had to tackle this resonance between ontology and methodology in their historiography. It will be of great interest to scholars and students of management and organization studies. This books follows the 13th OAP workshop hosted by ESADE on June 2023
Rethinking responsibility in the digital age: a narrative approach
International audienceResearchers, policymakers, and industry are increasingly aware of the urgent risks and threats arising in the digital age. Their awareness of this urgency has led to a rise of interest in responsibility. While this ‘turn to responsibility’ has been well-intentioned, an underappreciated problem is that the dominant, centuries-old view of responsibility is not up to this task – it is unable to make sense of the increasingly extended scope of responsibility in the digital age because it is mired in outdated assumptions about causality, agency, and human action. Inspired by Paul Ricoeur’s philosophy, we show the benefits of rethinking responsibility as an ongoing process of becoming responsible—that is, becoming responsible by being imputed through the narrative emplotment of extended sociomaterial events. We illustrate the benefits of this conception for the digital age using vignettes from plagiarism detection, social media, and AI. The paper concludes by proposing a Ricoeur-inspired narrative topology of the multidimensional time-space of responsibility emplotment. The paper calls on the MIS community and society more broadly to draw on this topology to reflect on their imputations and take up responsibility, individually and collectively
Sur la limite de capillarité nulle pour le système d'Euler-Korteweg
International audienceWe study the Euler-Korteweg equations with a weak capillarity tensor. It formally converges to the Euler equations in the zero capillarity limit. Our aim is two-fold : first we prove rigorously this limit in R d , d ≥ 1, and obtain a more precise BKW expansion of the solution, second we initiate the study of the problem on the half space. In this case we obtain a priori estimates for the solutions that degenerate as the capillary coefficient converges to zero, and we explain this degeneracy with the construction of a (formal) BKW expansion that exhibits boundary layers. The results on the full space extend and improve a classical result of Grenier (1998) on the semi-classical limit of nonlinear Schrödinger equations. The analysis on the half space is restricted to the case of quantum fluids with irrotational velocity. RésuméNous considérons les équations d'Euler-Korteweg avec un faible tenseur de capillarité. Le problème converge formellement vers les équations d'Euler dans la limite sans capillarité. Nous obtenons deux résultats : lorsque le problème est posé sur R^d, nous prouvons la convergence vers les équations d'Euler, et nous obtenons un développement BKW plus précis de la solution, lorsque le problème est posé sur le demi espace nous obtenons des estimées a priori des solutions, qui dégénèrent dans la limite sans capillarité. Cette dégénérescence est justifiée par un développement BKW (formel) montrant la présence de termes de couche limite. Les résultats sur l'espace complet généralisent et améliorent un résultat classique de Grenier (1998) sur la limite semi-classique d'équations de Schrödinger non linéaire. L'analyse sur le demi espace est restreinte au cas dit des fluides quantiques, avec une vitesse irrotationnelle
Epidemiology and Management of Actinic Keratosis in France: A General Population Survey (REAKT)
International audienceThe objective of this retrospective observational study was to estimate the prevalence of actinic keratosis (AK) in individuals aged ≥ 40 years in France, to describe the characteristics of affected patients, and to describe treatments. A representative panel of 20,000 households with ≥ 1 member aged ≥ 40 years were invited to participate. Participants who reported AK lesions diagnosed by a physician were eligible. The study questionnaire collected data on demographics, lesion characteristics, Fitzpatrick phototype, diagnosis, and treatments. In total, 15,246 questionnaires (78.5%) were returned and 639 responders were eligible. The adjusted prevalence of AK was 4.03% (95% CI: 3.73–4.35). Prevalence is probably underestimated due to data collection by self-report and low awareness of AK. 177 participants (27.7%) were aged < 65 years. AK was diagnosed by a dermatologist for 521 participants (81.6%). Some 200 participants (31.3%) had no lesions at the time of the survey and 243 (37.9%) had never been treated; 312 participants (78.6%) were prescribed physical treatment, principally cryotherapy; and 125 (31.5%) were prescribed topical treatment, principally 5-fluorouracil or imiquimod. In conclusion, improving diagnosis of AK in everyday clinical practice is important to ensure that all individuals with AK are treated optimally and encouraged to take sun protection measures to prevent progression to SCC
Feedback and cooperation: An Experiment in sorting behavior
International audienceIn this paper, we use a laboratory experiment to analyze the effect of information provision (feedback) on individual sorting behavior. Effective sorting requires both quantity and quality, yet increasing quantity may reduce quality due to the higher risk of contamination. We conduct a collective sorting behavior experiment consisting of a two-stage coordination game in which two subjects are paired and then individually decide whether or not to participate in a collective sorting task. The performance achieved depends on the quantity and quality of sorting, and the payoff depends on the decision and performance of both subjects in the task. Information about the subject’s own past performance, and information about the partner’s past performance, are included as feedback treatments. Using a between-subjects experimental design, we find that the feedback type has very different effects on participation, performance and coordination (defined as both subjects succeeding in the sorting task). Only feedback about one’s own performance leads to better performance and more coordination. Although this experiment is not contextualized, the results provide useful pointers for wastesorting policies
