Get PDF Education is one of the most prominent sustainable development goals of the 2030 Plan, and the United Nations is interested in everything that can enhance this, as it confirmed that artificial intelligence is one of the tools that support the continuation and spread of distance education, which emerged in light of the global health crisis Covid-19.
The study aims to shed light on the topic of artificial intelligence and distance education, by revealing the interactive relationship between them and the role that artificial intelligence plays in supporting distance education, along with the most important challenges facing it, which prompts us to ask: What is the role of artificial intelligence in Distance Learning and what are the challenges it faces? And the answer to that. The descriptive approach was used, and the study was divided into: (Definition of Artificial Intelligence - Definition of Distance Education - The Relationship between Artificial Intelligence and Distance Education - Challenges of Artificial Intelligence in Distance Education).
The study concluded that artificial intelligence ensures the continuation of distance education for all with less effort and costs, and creates personalized educational experiences. However, it still faces many challenges, including poor infrastructure and lack of technological resources

No full textتهدف الدراسة إلى التعرف على تصميم بطارية اختبارات مهارية لدى وسط ميدان كرة القدم تحت 17 سنة لفرق الجهوي الأول عنابة مصمم وفقا لمبادئ ومراحل تصميم الإختبارات، ولهذا الغرض استخدمنا المنهج الوصفي المسحي على عينة متكونة من 14 لاعبا من خط وسط الميدان، تم اختيارها بالطريقة العمدية، ولجمع البيانات استخدمنا 30 اختبار مهاري مقنن، وبعد جمع النتائج ومعالجتها إحصائيا باستخدام التحليل العاملي تم التوصل إلى إستخلاص (06( عوامل والتي تعبر عن (04) مهارات أساسية (التمرير، الجري بالكرة، الإخماد، التهديف) وعلى هذا الأساس أوصت الدراسة باستخدام وحدات بطارية الاختبار المستخلصة في تقويم لاعبي وسط الميدان في كرة القدمThe study aims to design a skill tests battery for midfield football players under 17 years old for the first regional teams in Annaba, designed according to the principles and stages of test design. For this purpose, we used a descriptive survey methodology on a sample of 14 players from the midfield position, selected deliberately. To collect data, 30 standardized skill tests were employed. After collecting and statistically processing the results using factor analysis, six factors were extracted, representing four core skills (passing, dribbling, ball control, and scoring). Based on these findings, the study recommends the use of the derived test battery units in evaluating midfield football players

It investigates the shift in educational processes from traditional, face-to-face methods to digital formats, where interaction now relies on symbols such as text, emojis, and videos, rather than direct personal communication. The research offers a framework for understanding how meanings are constructed through digital interactions and underscores the influence of these symbolic exchanges on the dynamics of identity formation between teachers and students. Additionally, it explores the evolution of traditional educational roles, noting that teachers have increasingly assumed the position of guides, while students have gained greater autonomy in their learning processes. Furthermore, the study addresses the challenges inherent in digital interaction, including the misinterpretation of symbols, feelings of isolation, and the critical role of social integration. It also considers the issue of technological disparities and their potential impact on educational effectiveness. The study concludes by stressing the need to reassess methods of digital interaction and evaluation to ensure the provision of high-quality education
Awareness and Understanding of Deepfakes Among University Students in Bangladesh
Get PDFThe recent rise of deepfake technology has raised global concerns, extending to Bangladesh. This generative artificial intelligence-based technology is being used with the intention of disseminating political misinformation, spreading hatred, and targeting women to cause them harm. This creates serious concerns for society by threatening peace, democracy, harmony. The current study investigated the extent to which the youth population of Bangladesh are aware of deepfakes. It explored the level of media literacy among them and their ability to discern between genuine and manipulated content. Methodologically, the study employed surveys using a set of questionnaires of 19 questions. The survey data revealed that a substantial majority of respondents had prior knowledge of the term "deepfake," but there still is a notable percentage of respondents who have never heard of deepfakes, suggesting the existence of a knowledge gap. Data also suggested that many students lacked a formal introduction to deepfake and its possible implications and consequences for society, compounded by the perception among some that deepfakes are merely a form of entertainment. Massive educational campaigns in schools, colleges, and universities came out as the most prominent strategy for combating deepfake technology, followed by educational program, workshops and seminars

The aim is to elucidate the intersections and interactions between this domain and media and communication studies. The investigation assesses how researchers might employ a communicative framework to analyze the relationship between artificial intelligence and journalism. Additionally, it discusses the necessity for scholars to seek novel theoretical frameworks and methodological approaches in response to the expanding role of intelligent technology. The findings underscore the need to reconsider the conventional understanding of "communication" in light of advancements in artificial intelligence and its applications in media. It advocates for a paradigm shift, acknowledging both human and machine entities as participants in the communicative process. This acknowledgment reflects the evolution of intelligent technology from a mere communication tool to an active communication collaborator
Improving the digital visibility of scholarly publishing in Algeria through CrossRef
Get PDFThis study aims to identify scholarly publishing in Algeria using the CrossRef database to increase its visibility. This will be achieved by tracking the extent to which journals from the Algerian platform for scientific journals (ASJP) are indexed in CrossRef and obtaining Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs). Additionally, the membership and participation of Algerian institutions of higher education and scientific research that issue these journals in CrossRef will be studied. The study yielded several results. Notably, CrossRef is the largest registration agency for digital object identifiers (DOIs), and universities and university centers are the most registered Algerian institutions in the CrossRef database, accounting for 77.3% and 11.4% respectively. Additionally, 79 out of 849 ASJP journals were registered in CrossRef and received a total of 23,338 DOIs. The growth rate of digital content increased by 24.65% after 2023. The study suggests that CrossRef can be used as an alternative to explore scholarly publications, increase citations, and improve research visibility
Coach’s Role In Overcoming The Void Period For Young Footballers
No full textThe study aims to identify the role of the coach in helping the players and the team to overcome the void stage during the competition, which is the stage in which the level of performance declines, whether individual or collective performance, as we assumed that the coach\u27s experience and his focus on the psychological aspect, has a positive role in the team\u27s overcoming of the void stage. For this purpose, we used the descriptive survey method, on a sample of 50 coaches, chosen randomly. To collect data, we used a questionnaire designed by the two researchers, consisting of three axes and 20 questions. After collecting the results and processing them statistically, we concluded that the junior team, during its passage through a void, the trainer directs his attention and focus on the educational, skillful side in the first, and the psychological side in the second, relying on this as the reason for his field experience in employing the psychological aspect. On this basis, the study recommended the necessity of training the trainers from the psychological side, in addition to making sure to prepare a unified training program for the junior class, in order to facilitate the process of their inclusion in the senior class
