Lowery delivers the keynote address at the 16th Annual SCLC Convention in August 1973. Lowery delivers a speech about SCLC's "moral responsibility" and obligation to fight for justice. Lowery encourages SCLC members to take on a new sense of "moral responsibility", help address poverty, elect moral politicians, and turn bad into good. Lowery challenges Black people to unite, love each other, and fight for justice.
