At 00:58:55, Lowery delivers his "The Lesson of Easter" sermon, in which he preaches about the simplicity of Easter. In his sermon, Lowery shares three simple lessons of Easter. Lowery delivers the keynote address at the 16th Annual SCLC Convention in August 1973. Lowery delivers a speech about SCLC's "moral responsibility" and obligation to fight for justice. Lowery encourages SCLC members to take on a new sense of "moral responsibility", help address poverty, elect moral politicians, and turn bad into good. Lowery challenges Black people to unite, love each other, and fight for justice.
