"Cat Tracks" Central Middle School, 2001
The building in which the first Central Middle School was housed (at 11526 Sullivan Rd.) was constructed in 1949 with portions of the school's campus dating back to the 1920s. The first middle school session was in 1973. The school is now located at 10510 Sullivan Rd. The new building was constructed in 2011

"The Emerald" Redemptorist High 2001
Redemptorist High School opened in 1947 as an extension of St. Gerard Majella school. Led by the School Sisters of Notre Dame, it obtained accreditation in December 1950 and graduated its first class of seniors in May 1951. Redemptorist became an interparochial school in 1963, and in 1995 became a Regional Diocesan School. In December 2014 it was announced that Redemptorist High School would close in June 2015. The Emerald yearbook began in 1955

2001 Episcopal High School Yearbook. Episcopal High School opened its doors in 1976. It is a private diocesan college-preparatory school. Episcopal High strives to engage students in the classrooms and in their spiritual lives. Their mascot is the Knight. McKinley High School, 2001
In 1907, H.K. Strickland opened the first black high school in Louisiana, called the East Baton Rouge Negro School. In 1914, the school moved into a new building and became known as Baton Rouge Colored High School. This became McKinley Senior High School, named for President William H. McKinley, in 1926 with the erection of a new building located at present-day Thomas H. Delpit Drive. This building served the school until 1962, when the present McKinley High School doors opened at 800 East McKinley Street. The original building now serves as the school?ÇÖs Alumni Center and in 1981 was entered into the National Historic Register. Since 1982 McKinley High School has been home to one of two gifted and talented high school programs in East Baton Rouge Parish

The Dunham School was founded in 1981 based on their principle of an education of the heart. They are a college preparatory school that addresses issues from a Christian perspective. They have a 1 to 1 laptop program and have been named an Apple Distinguished School. The Dunham School is located on 11111 Roy Emerson Dr, Baton Rouge, LA 70810
"Buccaneer Log" Broadmoor Junior-Senior High School, 2000
Broadmoor Junior-Senior High School was constructed and opening in 1960 in suburban South Baton Rouge. The school was responsible for the education of children and young adults (7th through 12th grades) from the Broadmoor, Forest Oaks, Harrington Place, Red Oaks, Sherwood Forest, Villa del Rey, and Windsor Place subdivisions and neighborhoods. Shortly after the school was constructed an influx in the student population forced the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board to consider an alternative location for Junior High students until a new school could be constructed. Broadmoor High School is still open today and is located at 10100 Goodwood Blvd

Bethany Christian School was founded in 1975 to provide the members of Bethany Church a place to educate their children.
