Foreign Travellers’ Museum Motivation and Museum Service Quality in Thailand: Comparison of Solo Female and General Travellers
Despite the increasing interest in solo female travellers on museum visit in Thailand, related topics have not received adequate attention from researchers. In this regard, this study attempted to explore the overall museum experience by identifying the nature of visit motivation and service quality assessment. For differentiated strategies, this study further examined the differences between solo female travellers and general travellers toward motivation and service quality components. This study identify the principal constructs of the museum motivation and museum service quality dimension, using the method by a factor analysis with a varimax Kaiser Normalization rotation which was conducted on the proposed structure of each item. The evaluation of internal consistency reliability for each of factors was also used by Cronbach’s coefficient alpha. Lastly, binary logistic regression analysis was executed (Hosmer & Lemeshow, 1989). To expose the differences in museum motivations (escapism, learning, social and family interaction, and curiosity) and museum service quality components (facilities, staff services, and exhibition experience) based on the solo female traveller and general travellers. Results showed that solo female travellers and general travellers have similar motivations to visit museums. However, escapism, learning, and curiosity motivation were more related to solo female travellers, while social and family interaction was more associated with general travellers. Regarding the components of museum service quality, staff services and exhibition experience were more positively related to solo female travellers, while facilities was the most important element to general travellers.

Effect of Fermentation Broth from Indole-3-Acetic Acid (IAA) Producing Methylobacterium radiotolerans ED5-9 on the Growth and Development of Murdannia loriformis (Hassk.) Rolla Rao & Kammathy under In vitro Condition
The possible role of indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) produced from Methylobacterium radiotolerans ED5-9 has been studied in the tissue culture of Murdannia loriformis for 4 weeks. The concentration of IAA in liquid nutrient medium (LNM) of M. radiotolerans ED5-9 culture was 3.36 ± 0.20 µg/ml. This supernatant was mixed with Murashige and skoog (MS) medium in varying volumes (1, 2 and 4 ml/l) and compared with MS medium supplemented with IAA for the tissue culture of M. loriformis. Results show that bacterial IAA can promote plant growth in terms of increasing number of shoots, roots and leaves as well increases in root length and dry weight more than chemically synthesized IAA. Root formation and increase in root length was found to be highest in treatments having 2 ml/l bacterial supernatant in 0.8% agar medium with an average of 11.00 ± 4.60 roots per explants and 2.10 ± 0.70 cm, respectively. In addition, Total phenolic compounds and antioxidant activity were found in quantity as 0.36 ± 0.46 and 4.14 ± 0.52 mg/g fresh weight, respectively. As the concentration of IAA in supernatant from M. radiotolerans ED5-9 was increased, the number of roots also increased.

Legislation for Women’s Rights: A Study of Victims of Domestic Violence Protection Act B.E.2550
The three main purposes of this article were: 1) to study the violence against women, which has been one of the primary issues depriving women of their rights; 2) to understand the lawmaking process and how it has been implemented, leading to; 3) to analyze and point out the problems and obstacles in the implementation of the Victims of Domestic Violence Protection Act B.E. 2550 as a cross-sectional. The researcher uses the qualitative research and gather the information from the key informant interview and documentary research. The result from the interview and the study of the paper related to“The Victims of Domestic Violence Protection Act B.E. 2550” were divided into three parts: the law itself and the law making process, the law implementation and the suggestions from the NGOs. According to the results from the law itself and the law making process, the terminology has been unclear. Neither any written support was carried out after the law come into force, nor official assessment was conducted in attempt to amend the problem occurring during the law implementation. Consequently, government officials had difficulty working under the law due to the own conflict with the criminal code. Besides no valid procedures for multidisciplinary team were established for each agency to follow. Lastly, the job rotation of the bureaucracy system disrupted the continuity of working and prevented the officials from their advanced competency development. Regarding the Suggestions from NGOs, the people's mindset on violence against women should change and the knowledge on such issue should be shared among the people, government sectors and NGOs. Finally, the heart of the law effectiveness was the teamwork from every related department.

Building Capacities for Change: Farmers Moving Away from Conventional Rice Farming in Prachinburi Province, Thailand
Rice farming systems in the irrigated areas of central Thailand, unlike other parts of the country, have undergone limited changes over the past two decades. These systems are based on two rice crops per year. Generally, they are characterized by the intensive use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Most of these rice farming systems provide full-time employment to farmers. However, the sustainability of these rice farming systems has been undermined by two factors: the decision to end policies to support rice prices on the domestic market and the aging farming population. The study analyzes the experience of farmers located in Prachinburi Province, who began changing their farming systems in order to move away from conventional rice production. Thirty-eight of these farmers were interviewed, about their objectives, the process of change, and the impacts of these changes. One group of farmers started growing non-rice crops and another group began to produce organic rice collectively. Profitability has increased, but many farmers see also these changes as an opportunity to increase home consumption. In addition, the changes have made the farming systems more flexible. These developments help rice farmers in central Thailand build their capacities for change to be able to adapt to ongoing evolutions of the agricultural sector. However, upscaling these changes in farming systems and in farmers’ capacities will require wide-ranging support.

This study focused on the application of the ISO 9001: 2008 quality management system to improve the quality of water supply services for the citizens in Takfa Subdistrict municipality area and to increase the efficiency of the performance of the municipality employees. The application also helped reduce the number of complaints from the public who used the water supply services. From the data regarding the satisfaction of the users of the water supply services in this area, it was found that in terms of the competency, the aspects with the mean scores lower than 2.50 were the consistency, pressure, water-service close alert, equipment installation and water supply services. In terms of services, the aspects with the mean scores lower than 2.50 were the repairment period, employees’ manners, employees’ enthusiasm and responses to queries. Then the researchers implemented the relevant ISO 9001: 2008 quality management system to solve the problems. After the implementation of the problem-solution guideline based on the ISO 9001: 2008 quality management system, it was found that the satisfaction of the service receivers increased on average by 28.48%. Moreover, this implementation yielded another benefit to the organization in that the servicereceivers complimented the services, thus helping create a good organizational image and bringing awareness of the usefulness of implementing this system to the administrators who would make use of the ISO 9001: 2008 quality management system morefully in the future.
