Phytochemical and protein extraction of Golden shower tree (Cassia fistula)
The objective of study was to perform a crude extract from leaves and flowers of Cassia fistula by using two types of solvents; ethanol and hexane in order to reduce chemicals or antibiotics application. After studying phytochemical substances by testing color development and sedimentation in both fresh and dry forms, we found that fresh leaves had higher phytochemical properties than flowers. There were 8 important properties found; alkaloids, flavonoids, coumarin, tannins, flobatannins. terpenoids, steroids, and cardiac glycosides. Fresh leaves were used in protein form identification by using SDS-PAGE technique, the important protein found having molecular weight between 23 to 80 kDa consisting of seven bands; 80, 71, 52, 48, 40, 35, and 23 kDa, respectively. Moreover, their antibacterial activity was studied by using disc diffusion method and dilution method and found that the crude extract had inhibitory activity on Gram positive bacteria, Staphylococus aureus, and gram negative bacteria, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, compared with the antibiotic, chloramphenicol. The crude extract from fresh leaves showed inhibitory activity in Staphylococus aureus higher than from dried leaf extract. In the concentration of 3 mg / ml, the largest inhibitor zone observed was 12.67 ± 3.33 mm. For gram negative bacteria, the largest inhibitory zone found in the treatment of dried leaf extract with the concentration of 3 mg / ml was 12.33 ± 3.88 mm. In the study of antibacterial activity by dilution method, it was found that the extracts in all concentration could inhibit Staphylococus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Based on these results, we can conclude that Cassia fistula leaves can be used to perform crude extracts and then applied for bacterial inhibition

A Process of Ethical Subjectivation in Forming Subjectivities in Teenage Mothers
These preliminary results of narrative inquiry are based on the data collected as part of a doctoral dissertation, which concentrated on how some young mothers are able to form new subjectivities and resist dominant discourses on teenage mothers in Thailand. To understand this process, Michel Foucault’s concept of the ethical self is employed along with an examination of the discourses of teenage mothers in Thailand. Ethical subjectivation is a process in which individuals decide to reconstruct their identity reflecting on a perceived moral dilemma. In the case of teenage mothers, this ethical concept usually involves aspects of the ideal mother and a discourse on motherhood in Thai society. Six teenage mothers who appeared to possess an ethical self were selected for this qualitative study. Each mother was invited to share her life story using an in-depth interview. The stories were analyzed through an analysis of narratives and applied a thematic analysis to find common themes among the participants. These results indicated three types of ethical mothers: “Buddy mom”, “Two-in-one parent” and “Traditionally-oriented mother”. However, these types of subjectivity can change over time depending on the individual and, at times, may appear simultaneously.

Axiomatic Approach in Developing the Filial Care Theory
Filial Piety refers to the special obligations that children have towards their ageing parents, and by extension may include obligations of adopted children and grandchildren. This study aims to design a theory that attempts to explain why filial care responsibility exists and evolves over time. The theory was developed using an axiomatic approach where five axioms were deduced into four emergent propositions. It is theorized that filial care responsibility is a socially-driven act, as its fulfillment is a conformity to implied social contracts in order to ascertain one’s belongingness to a group, and it also promotes the relationship between family members in a form of reciprocated care. As culture and societies advance, values and perceptions toward older persons progress, thus evolving the form of filial care practices, without affecting its essence.

A Model for Integrating Traditional and Modern Land-Tenure Systems: A Case Study of Dai Minority in Yunnan, China
The objectives of this research were to: 1) study the traditional Dai land-tenure management system, 2) compare the differences between the traditional Dai land-tenure management system and the modern system, 3) analyze the effect of the implementation of the modern land-tenure management system on the Dai community, and 4) develop a new model for integrating the traditional Dai tenure-management system with the modern system. Data were collected through documentation review, in-depth interviews, and focus group discussions. Data were validated using triangular techniques and analyzed by qualitative methods. The results showed the following: 1) traditional Dai land-tenure management derives from traditional wisdom and employs methods beneficial for land use, land allocation, and the ecological environment; 2) traditional Dai land-tenure management differs from the modern land system in terms of land rights, land use, and mechanisms; 3) while implementation of the modern system has changed land-use and land-management mechanisms in the Dai area, villagers will still adopt traditional methods to reduce threats from externalities; and 4) traditional land-tenure management compensates for shortcomings in the modern system and helps to improve land use, social equity, and sustainable development. In order to solve the integration of the two system is equilibrium, stable and sustainable, and finally play the optimal function of system. This study recommends the following: reducing external uncertainties, improving rural social security and local policy development, enhancing adaptability and coordination within community organizations, and giving more autonomy to community organizations to protect traditional Dai culture. To this end, a new model is established to integrate the traditional land-tenure management system with the modern system.

A Search for Thai Hospitality Dimensions in Hospitality and Tourism Industry
One of the factors influencing tourists to revisit a destination is the hospitality of staff who come into direct or indirect contact with tourists. It is the quality of these contacts and interactions that will give a hospitality business an edge over its competitors. The objectives of this study were to identify the key characteristics of Thai hospitality from the perspectives of tourists and to classify the dimensions of hospitality attributes in the Thai cultural context. A mixed methods research design was used. A sample of 12 international tourists participated in an in-depth interview and a survey questionnaire with 1,200 complete samples were collected. Content analysis and domain analysis were used to analyse the Thai hospitality characteristics. Factor analysis was used to define the underlying structure of Thai hospitality.
The results identified 38 Thai hospitality characteristics from qualitative. Based on the results of factor analysis, Thai hospitality can be conceptualised as a seven-dimension construct that is important and recognised for international tourists in Thailand. These seven factors were identified as follows: thoughtfulness, modesty, compromise, respect of culture, enthusiasm and calibre. The identification of these characteristics and dimensions are valuable for the Thai hospitality and tourism industry as guidelines for shaping the behavior of service staff whose interactions are with tourists.

Glyphosate (Roundup): Fate in Aquatic Environment, Adverse Effect and Toxicity Assessment in Aquatic organisms
Glyphosate (C3H8NO5P) is an organic substance in phosphonomethyl glycine group consisting of phosphorus in its structure. Its well-known trading name is Roundup, which is globally applied as herbicide. In Thailand, it has been widely applied, which results in it occupy in the top order of imported ago-chemical even though it was banned in many countries. Glyphosate application can cause contamination in groundwater and nearby surface water. Recently, there have been studies indicating that glyphosate contamination causes adverse effects on aquatic organism and is bio-accumulated and bio-magnified through food chain and finally reaches to human beings as top consumer. Glyphosate causes alterations in behavior, physiology, DNA, chromosome and bio-chemistry and moreover mortality in the case of exposure in high level. In this case, it may effect on aquatic population which is an important fishery stock in the future. In Thailand, there are lacks of fundamental data and knowledge thus it requires more studies or tests to fulfill this gap. As the importance mentioned above, the effect of glyphosate should be studied for developing the protection and management plan to reduce glyphosate contamination in aquatic organisms and environments.

Investigation of Mathematical Modeling for Banana Slices Drying using Hot Air Technique
The parameter models of banana slices drying are very important for predicting to approximate the mathematical. This paper demonstrates the drying kinetics with mathematical modeling of banana slices drying using hot air technique. The banana slices were dried the temperature about of 60–70°C and 0.8 m/s for the hot air velocity. The parameters were studied the banana slices thickness of 2–6 mm and 300% db for initial moisture content. An experimental result was presented in terms of moisture content and shrinkage. The drying time was revealed about of 180–220 minutes which the temperature affected the moisture content and shrinkage of banana slices. The moisture diffusivities were presented of 1.42-13.5×10-10m²/s. In addition, the moisture ratio was applied to generate the drying models of banana slices which the Page model to be the best model.
