LANDMARKS AND ORIENTATIONS IN TEACHING AND LEARNING SCHOOL MATHEMATICS
This talk explores the interconnected and critical issues of competencies, applications, and assessments in the teaching and learning of school mathematics. We examine the dual roles of competencies as both helpful and questionable, the limits and significance of applications, and the unintended consequences of assessments. These themes are intricately linked and profoundly influence one another. To address these challenges effectively, we analyze the core nature and character of school mathematics as a foundation for informed decision-making. CURRENT SITUATION OF COOPERATIVE LEARNING IN TEACHING STATISTICS AT SECONDARY SCHOOLS
Cooperative learning (CL) is a teaching approach to develop learners\u27 qualities and competencies to meet the goals of the 2018 General Education Curriculum. However, in secondary schools, these days, cooperative learning in mathematics in general, and specifically in teaching Statistics, has not received adequate attention. As a result, cooperative learning has not achieved the desired outcome. The paper presents the current situation of cooperative learning at secondary schools in teaching Statistics by collecting and analyzing survey data from teachers and suggests insights serving as a basis for proposing measures to support teachers to implement cooperative learning effectively, contributing to improving the quality of secondary school education. This report presents the application of the online teaching software Classin, which has elicited positive and innovative changes in Mathlish’s online math classes. By harnessing Classin\u27s interactive features, Mathlish educators created an engaging and student-centered learning environment. The report emphasizes the integration of features and inspiration from televised educational programs into Mathlish\u27s online math classes, aiming to provide captivating learning experiences for students. Furthermore, the report examines how Classin\u27s real-time feedback mechanisms enhance personalized learning and global connectivity. SYNTHESIS AND STRUCTURES OF SOME BINAPHTHYL DERIVATIVES VIA SUZUKI CROSS COUPLING REACTION
Four new binaphthyl derivatives 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d have been synthesized successfully via Suzuki reaction of 2,2\u27-dibromo-1,1\u27-binaphthalene (1) and phenylboronic acid derivatives in high yield. IDENTIFICATION OF YEAST STRAINS AND FILAMENTOUS FUNGI IN THE HAI HAU TRADITIONAL ALCOHOL YEAST CAKE
This study aims to determine the various strains of yeast and filamentous fungi in traditional alcohol yeast cake from Hai Hau district, Nam Dinh province. By traditional laboratory techniques such as isolation on YPD agar, observation of colony morphology as well as cell characteristics by microscopy, combined with molecular biology method to sequence ITS region 03 strains of yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae CN1, CN2, and NM3 were identified: 01 pseudo-strain yeast Saccharomycopsis fibuligera NM02 and 01 strain of filamentous fungi Rhizopus microsporus NS04. The density of yeast strains cultured on YPD agar supplemented with 50 mg/L Tetracycline was 4.5 × 108 CFU/g, while the density of R. microsporus NS04 filamentous fungi was 2.0 × 106 CFU/g. With the agar plate diffusion method, yeast strains of S. cerevisiae CN1, CN2, and NM3 that are unable to biosynthesize extracellular enzymes have been identified. Yeast pseudo-strain S. fibuligera NM02 is capable of producing amylase (with starch substrate hydrolysis ring diameter > 9 mm), cellulase (16 mm), and protease (18 mm). NEW RECORDS OF ECHOLOCATION CALLS OF Hipposideros khaokhouayensis
Phou Khao Khouay leaf-nosed bat (Hipposideros khaokhouayensis) is a globally rare and vulnerable species of the family Hipposideridae. It has been known only from the type locality in Laos and two localities in Vietnam. Its echolocation calls were included in several publications but still poorly understood. Between November 2023 and April 2024, the authors conducted three field surveys in Lang Son province and Hai Phong city, northeastern Vietnam, in order to seek further understanding of its potential distribution and echolocation behavior. Twelve adult individuals of the species were captured using harp traps and mist nets for identification in the field based on their morphological diagnoses to confirm the target species\u27 identity. The PCTape system was employed to record echolocation calls while bats were emerging from caves. Seven sound parameters (CF frequency, CF duration, tFM frequency, tFM bandwidth, tFM duration, pulse duration, and inter-pulse interval) of the recorded calls were analyzed and measured using the Selena software. Their values are in a range of 90.2 - 91.1 kHz, 3.1 - 8.9 ms, 75.6 - 84.5 kHz, 6.1 - 15.0 kHz, 0.9 - 1.7 ms, 4.5 - 10.1 ms and 15.1 - 31.4 ms, respectively. The present study results are considerably different from descriptions in previous publications. THE TALE OF ZHOUSHENG IN THE FLOW OF THE KOREAN MEDIEVAL MYTHICAL STORY
Chu Sinh truyện (Zhu Sheng’s Tale, 주생전) của nhà văn Quyền Tất (Gwol Pil, 권필) là một trong những tiểu thuyết dài hơi tiếp theo của loại hình truyện truyền kì trung đại Hàn Quốc cuối thế kỉ XVI, đầu thế kỉ XVII (sau tính mở đầu của Kim Ngao tân thoại và Xí Trai kí dị). Lựa chọn đề tài tình yêu nam nữ giữa tài tử và giai nhân, nhà văn tìm cách cho nhân vật được phá chấp, thoát khỏi dần những ràng buộc của lễ giáo phong kiến, hướng tới ngợi ca và khẳng định phương diện con người cá nhân; luyến ái nam nữ được đề cao. Tổ chức cốt truyện kết hợp thực - ảo, đơn tuyến song đã có nhiều sự kiện hơn, mạch kể cũng đa dạng hơn so với các tác phẩm cùng loại hình trước đó. Hệ thống nhân vật, dù chưa nhiều song phương diện cá tính hóa được chú ý hơn. Đây là những đóng góp căn bản cũng là vai trò của tác phẩm trong dòng chảy của loại hình truyện truyền kì trung đại Hàn Quốc được chúng tôi đặt ra và luận giải trong bài viết này.Zhu Sheng’s Tale (주생전) by writer Gwol Pil (권필) is one of the next long-term novels of the Korean medieval legend genre of the late 16th and early 17th centuries (after the opening calculation of Tales of Mount Geumo and Strange Tales from a Korean Studio). Choosing the topic of love between a man, an actor. and a woman, a beautiful woman, the writer sought to let the characters challenge the constraints of feudal rites, and aim to praise and affirm the personal aspect of humanity, thus, the main focus is romatic relationship between men and women. The plot organization combines nonfictional and fictional factors, with a single line, but there are more events and the narrative is more diverse than previous works of the same type. Although the character system is not much, the personalization aspect is given more attention. This contribution is profound in Korean medieval legends that we set and explain in this article
INTERTEXTUALITY IN KAFKA SPIRIT AND RE-READING DOSTOIEVSKY OF TRUONG DANG DUNG
Lí thuyết liên văn bản những năm gần đây dẫu không còn là vấn đề mới mẻ nhưng thực sự là con đường, cách thức để lí giải, cảm nghiệm chiều sâu tác phẩm văn học. Thơ Trương Đăng Dung ngày càng khơi gợi nhiều hướng tiếp nhận cho các nhà lí luận, nghiên cứu phê bình văn học cũng như các độc giả yêu thơ. Bài viết khai thác giá trị đặc sắc hai bài thơ Tinh thần Kafka và Đọc lại Dostoievsky của Trương Đăng Dung từ lí thuyết liên văn bản, không chỉ giúp người đọc thông hiểu những vấn đề được đặt ra trong trường liên kết các văn bản mà còn nhận diện được vốn tri thức thâm sâu của người sáng tác, cũng như những đóng góp mới của thơ Trương Đăng Dung.Although intertextual theory in recent years is no longer novel, it is an approach to explain and experience the depth of literary works. Truong Dang Dung\u27s poetry increasingly evokes many reception directions for theorists, literary critics, and poetry-loving readers. The article explores the unique value of Truong Dang Dung\u27s Kafka Spirit and Rereading Dostoievsky from an intertextual theory, not only helping readers understand the issues raised in the field of linking texts but also identifying the vast knowledge of the author, as well as the new contributions of Truong Dang Dung\u27s poems
DESIGNING PLAN TO ORGANIZE EXPERIENTIAL ACTIVITIESTO FORM QUALITIESAND COMPETENCIESFOR PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS
Chương trình Giáo dục phổ thông 2018 đã chỉ rõ, Hoạt động trải nghiệm là hoạt động giáo dục bắt buộc trong nhà trường phổ thông; được thiết kế và tổ chức giúp học sinh chuyển hoá những kiến thức, kinh nghiệm đã biết vào thực tiễn thành tri thức mới, kĩ năng mới nhằm hình thành phẩm chất, năng lực cho học sinh. Bài viết chỉ ra quy trình thiết kế kế hoạch tổ chức hoạt động trải nghiệm hình thành phẩm chất, năng lực cho học sinh tiểu học với đầy đủ cơ sở khoa học, nguyên tắc đề xuất và minh hoạ cụ thể các bước của quy trình. Quy trình thiết kế mà bài viết đề xuất có thể giúp giáo viên tiểu học thuận lợi trong việc thiết kế và tổ chức có hiệu quả hoạt động trải nghiệm hình thành phẩm chất, năng lực cho học sinh tiểu học.The General Education Program 2018 mandates experiential activities at schools. These activities are designed to help students apply existing knowledge and experience in practice into new knowledge and skills to form student qualities and competencies. The article showed the process of designing the plan to organize experiential activities to form qualities and competencies for primary school students, supported by a solid scientific basis, proposed principles, and specific illustrations of the steps involved. The design process proposed by this article can help primary school teachers effectively design and organize experiential activities to foster qualities and competencies for primary school students
APPLYING 5E MODEL IN TEACHING TO DEVELOP PROBLEM SOLVING CAPACITY FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS
Trên cơ sở lí thuyết kiến tạo, mô hình 5E được vận dụng trong dạy học nói chung và dạy học ở tiểu học nói riêng không chỉ giúp học sinh chiếm lĩnh được tri thức mới mà còn thúc đẩy sự phát triển của tư duy, khả năng khám phá, sáng tạo cũng như năng lực phát hiện và giải quyết vấn đề, tự kiến tạo tri thức cho các em. Học tập với mô hình 5E, tri thức của người học được kiến tạo tích cực bởi chủ thể nhận thức chứ không tiếp nhận thụ động từ bên ngoài, do đó, dần hình thành và phát triển ở các em năng lực phát hiện vấn đề, tìm kiếm cách thức giải quyết vấn đề cũng như vận dụng những kiến thức và kĩ năng đã có tìm kiếm ra cách thức hành động và tri thức mới. Dựa trên việc phân tích và tổng hợp các nghiên cứu có liên quan, bài báo đã tập trung vào việc khái lược các khái niệm về mô hình 5E, các chỉ báo năng lực giải quyết vấn đề của học sinh tiểu học cũng như mô tả tiến trình tổ chức việc dạy học để phát triển năng lực giải quyết vấn đề theo mô hình 5E trong dạy học tiểu học với các ví dụ minh họa cụ thể. Nghiên cứu đã tiến hành thực nghiệm sư phạm dạy học theo mô hình 5E trên 67 học sinh của 2 lớp 4A1, 4A2 thuộc Trường Tiểu học Đô thị Sài Đồng, Hà Nội; phân tích cả kết quả định lượng và định tính của thực nghiệm sư phạm để thấy được hiệu quả của việc áp dụng mô hình 5E trong quá trình giảng dạy môn Khoa học lớp 4 nhằm phát triển năng lực giải quyết vấn đề cho học sinh.Based on constructivism theory, 5E model is applied in teaching, particularly in elementary school teaching, to not only help students acquire new knowledge but also promote their critical thinking, creativity, and ability to discover and solve problems and create knowledge for children. Learning with the 5E model, learners\u27 knowledge is actively constructed by the cognitive subject instead of being passively received from the outside, thus gradually forming and developing in them the ability to detect problems, find ways to solve problems as well as apply existing knowledge and skills to find new ways of action and knowledge. Based on the analysis and synthesis of related research, the article focuses on summarizing the concepts of the 5E model, indicators of problem-solving capacity of elementary school students, and describing the process of organizing teaching to develop problem-solving capacity according to the 5E model in elementary school teaching with specific illustrative examples. The study conducted a pedagogical experiment in teaching according to the 5E model on 67 students of 2 classes 4A1 and 4A2 at Sai Dong Urban Primary School, Hanoi; analyzed both quantitative and qualitative results of pedagogical experiments to see the effectiveness of applying the 5E model in the process of teaching Grade 4 Science to develop problem-solving capacity for students
