Die Herkunft der Böttchergesellen in Bratislava des 17.-19. Jahrhunderts
The territorial dispersion of journeymen's paths can be observed from two perspectives: first, by tracing the areas and routes of journeymen from individual cities in Slovakia towards Bratislava; and second, by tracing the cities and areas of non-Slovak parts of Hungary and cities in surrounding countries and cities from which journeymen came to Slovakia.
While in the 17th century, journeymen coopers came to Bratislava from countries to the west (from Silesia, Saxony, Thuringia, Upper France, Bavaria and others), in the 19th century, most journeymen came to Bratislava from countries and regions to the east (from Hungary - mainly from the region of Transylvania and Banat, from the Balkans, or from the eastern part of the Carpathian arc). The share of journeymen coming to Bratislava from Moravia and Bohemia also increased significantly

Moravia: a historical region in the eastern part of the Czech Republic. Settled by Slavs since the 6th century, who founded the Great Moravian Empire at the beginning of the 9th century.
The development of national consciousness in Moravia began with the suppression of the Great Moravian tradition. Today's historical consciousness of the inhabitants of Moravia is based on the concept of Moravianism as 1. a special branch of the Czech nation, 2. as an independent nation.
The traditions of the Czechoslovak friendship have become the basis for regular meetings of Czechs, Moravians and Slovaks on the Moravian-Slovak border since the end of the last century and are still the pillar of folklore festivals in southern and eastern Moravia. Moravia participates in the development of the basic sources of European culture
Folk tales, magic, and politics interpretation of folklore in Slovak ethnography
Interpretácia folklóru v ľudových rozprávkach, mágii a politike v slovenskej etnografii.
Vybrané práce poukazujú na hlavné myšlienky teoretických perspektív, ktoré dominovali pri štúdiu folklóru: mytologická škola, evolucionistická interpretácia, štrukturalistický trend a sovietska škola etnografie založená na ideológii marxizmu-leninizmu t.j. v období Rakúsko-Uhorska až Československej socialistickej republiky (1867 - 1989).Myths, religion and magic have been important areas of investigation in the social sciences and humanities; their interpretation in concrete political contexts can illustrate both theoretical advance and political processes. The selected works point to the main ideas of the theoretical perspectives that dominated the study of folklore: the mythological school, the evolutionary interpretation, the structuralist trend, and the Soviet school of ethnography based on the ideology of Marxism-Leninism, i.e. in the period from the Austro-Hungarian Empire to the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic (1867 - 1989)

The position of the Prekmurje Slovene language today in relation to the once dominant hungarian culture
Prekmurje Slovene holds a special place among Slovenian dialects, because in the 18th century and until 1919 it was an independent written language with its own literary tradition – we are talking about the Prekmurje literary language.Postavenie prekmurského slovinského jazyka dnes vo vzťahu ku kedysi dominantnej maďarskej kultúre
Prekmurska slovinčina má medzi slovinskými dialektmi osobitné miesto, pretože v 18. storočí a až do roku 1919 bola samostatným písomným jazykom s vlastnou literárnou tradíciou – hovoríme o prekmurskom spisovnom jazyku
A language of comic in the traditional repertoire of nomadic puppeteers
The performances of Czech and Slovak nomadic puppeteers should be understood in the broader context of the activities of nomadic theatrical so cieties from Italy, Germany and Holland in the territory of former Czechoslovakia at the turn of the turn of the 17th century. Jazyk komiksu v tradičnom repertoári kočovných bábkarov.
Predstavenia českých a slovenských kočovných bábkarských hercov treba chápať v širšom kontexte aktivít kočovných divadelných spoločností z Talianska, Nemecka a Holandska na území bývalého Československa na prelome 19. a 20. storočia
On linguistic emotivity
O jazykovej emotivite.
One way to understand linguistic emotivity is to use an anthropological approach. The first anthropologist to recognize the emotional aspect of language was the founder of social anthropology Bronisław Malinowski, who laid the foundations for the future ethnolinguistics and linguistic anthropology. According to these two subdisciplines, the role of language cannot be defined only in terms of phonology, morphology or syntax; we must also use semantics and pragmatics. Taking into account the above aspects of language allows us to find the basic oppositional functions of language: referential and emotive. The second function corresponds to the influence of the cultural context on language (e.g. religious cult vs. academic lecture), as well as to the creative role of language in shaping the nature of communication and culture itself. This article follows up on these anthropological considerations by discussing selected approaches from the fields of linguistics, literary studies, philosophy and sociolog
