[PL:]Załączone pliki stanowią sporządzony przeze mnie na użytek grantu unikalny katalog wszystkich egodokumentów Jelizawiety Golicyny, jakie znajdują się w w Archiwum Generalnym Towarzystwa Sacré-Cœur w Rzymie (Archives Générales Société du Sacré-Cœur, Rome; General Archives of the Society of the Sacred Heart, Rome). Ułatwi to stworzenie mapy intelektualno-religijnej służącej ukazaniu związków i śladów wzajemnych oddziaływań katoliczek rosyjskich i ludzi kultury wieku XIX. 2) Zawartość skrzynki 3, w której znalazły się m.in.a) rozmaite modlitwy i modlitewniki, zarówno autorstwa samej Golicyny,b) modlitwy powszechnie używane w jej czasach. To ciekawe świadectwo poziomu życia religijnego i duchowego rosyjskich katoliczek pierwszej połowy wieku XIX.c) informacje o życiu codziennym i religijnym sióstr Sacré-Cœurd) dokumenty osobiste Golicyny (m.in. The attached files constitute a unique catalog of all the documents of Elisabeth Galitzyn housed in the Roman archives of the Society of the Sacred Heart, located in the General Archives of the Society of the Sacred Heart in Rome (Archives Générales Société du Sacré-Cœur, Rome; General Archives of the Society of the Sacred Heart, Rome). The existing archival description merely indicates the presence of three boxes of documents and provides only a quantitative listing, with imprecise dates. These boxes are:AGSSC, C-VII, 2) Gallitzin, Box 1AGSSC, C-VII, 2) Gallitzin, Box 2AGSSC, C-VII, 2) Gallitzin, Box 3However, the documents contained in these boxes amount to nearly 2,000 pages. There was a need to organize them in terms of their usefulness for further literary and cultural studies. This led to the creation of the catalogue of Elisabeth Golitsyna’s collection from the General Archives of the Sacred Heart (AGSSC) in Rome.In addition to information about the documents themselves, their condition, content, and the method of digitization for the purposes of the research grant, the catalogue includes details about the individuals mentioned in the materials. This will facilitate the creation of an intellectual and religious network map, highlighting the connections and mutual influences between Russian Catholic women and 19th-century cultural figures. The catalogue is divided into two parts:Contents of Boxes 1 and 2, which primarily contain autobiographical materials referred to as journals. Among them are:o Spiritual journals (their classification can be found in a separate catalog included in this collection).o Travel journals.o Retreat journals, which offer insight into the familiarity with Ignatian spirituality in early 19th-century Russia, particularly within aristocratic female circles.Contents of Box 3, which includes, among other items, a) Various prayers and prayer books, some authored by Golitsyna herself.b) Commonly used prayers of her time, providing valuable evidence of the religious and spiritual life of Russian Catholic women in the first half of the 19th century.c) Information on the daily and religious life of the Sisters of the Sacred Heart.d) Golitsyna’s personal documents (including her birth certificate).e) Her correspondence with various individuals.f) Materials related to Golitsyna’s missionary work in America.g) Materials concerning Golitsyna’s death. The compilation of this catalog represents a significant contribution to the study of the life, writings, activities, and network of Elisabeth Golitsyna, a Russian Catholic noblewoman, within the cultural and intellectual circles of Western Europe during the 1820s–1840s. Additionally, it sheds light on her contributions to both cultural and religious endeavors, particularly among Native American communities.</p

Synthesis and structural evolution of 2-[N-Boc-5-aminopentyl]-2-oxazoline-based copolymers: from protected precursors to amino-functional materials

    No full text
The essence of this work is to gain deep insight into the polymerization of [N-Boc-5-aminopentyl]-2-oxazoline and the characterization of the obtained polymers before and after deprotection. Here, a series of microwave-assisted CROP reactions of 2-[N-Boc-5-aminopentyl]-2-oxazoline were carried out. Efforts were made to synthesize copolymers with a high DP for PentNHBocOx, reaching up to 100. For the first time, copolymers composed of PentNHBocOx and EtOx with identical compositions but differing microstructures (block and random) have been successfully obtained. Initially, the absolute molar masses of the protected copolymers were determined, and the solution behavior of the PentNHBocOx-based copolymers was thoroughly investigated. The quantitative removal of Boc-protective groups from the macromolecules was confirmed by spectroscopic methods, followed by polymer desalination. Newly, the behavior of copolymers containing PentNH2Ox units in solutions has been studied. The influence of PentNH2Ox-based copolymers on the viability of human skin fibroblasts over a wide range of concentrations was analyzed. For a model copolymer containing amino groups, a chelating compound was attached to evaluate the suitability of these systems for potential antibacterial applications. The dataset includes tabular files as well as images in JPG and TIF formats.</p

Aliphatic Amines Unlocked for Selective Transformations through Diazotization

    No full text
While aromatic diazonium salts are important reagents in organic synthesis, ‘Diazonium ions generated from ordinary aliphatic primary amines are usually useless for preparative purposes, since they lead to a mixture of products giving not only substitution by any nucleophile present, but also elimination and rearrangements if the substrate permits.’1 In this work, we report that this statement is no longer valid, and it is now possible to control diazotization of aliphatic amines by utilizing isopentyl nitrite in HFIP. This transformation enabled electrophilic aromatic substitution with these highly abundant and commercially available alkyl reagents, as well as transforming them into building blocks typically employed in organic synthesis. The methodology opens an avenue for reactions involving aliphatic amines, even such demanding substrates as amino acids, as a source of carbocations thus expanding the degree of chemical space.</p
