    Data set for "Bounds on the detection of Bell correlations with entangled ultracold atoms in optical lattices under occupation defects"

    Bell nonlocality stems from quantum correlations effectively identified using inequalities. Spin chains, simulated with ultracold atoms in optical lattices, Rydberg atoms in tweezer arrays, trapped ions, or molecules allow single-spin control and measurement. Therefore, they are suitable for studying fundamental aspects of these correlations and nonlocality. Occupation defects, such as vacancies or multiple atoms occupying a single site due to imperfect system preparation, limit the detection of Bell correlations. We study their effects with the help of a simplified toy model parametrized by the probability &#x1d45d; of having a single occupation for a given site. Within this model, and for entangled systems obtained by one-axis twisting evolution from an initial factorized state, we derive two Bell inequalities, one based on many-site correlations and the other on two-site correlations, and identify the smallest probability &#x1d45d; that allows the Bell inequalities violation to be detected. We then consider two physical realizations using entangled ultracold atoms in optical lattices where the parameter &#x1d45d; is related to a nonunitary filling factor and nonzero temperature.     Phylogeny of beta Nac reconstructed for homologs from 9 pre- and 13 post-WGD Saccharomycetacae species and 41 homologs from other Ascomycota species using Maximum Likelihood method with LG &#43; I &#43; F &#43;G4 model of evolution. The tree topology was constrained such that the post WGD sequences (colored) share common ancestry at the WGD node. The number of amino acid substitutions (72) mapped on the branch leading to the common ancestor of Nacb2 from the Saccharomyces clade is indicated. The tree was rooted with Schizosaccharomyces Nacb2 as an outgroup. Bootstrap support is indicated for the major nodes. Scale bar – amino acid substitutions per site.</p

    Consumer choice of purchase channel and delivery scheme, given price discrimination across channels

    The research involves six experimental studies (waves), each following a scenario approach. The studies will differ with regard to product category, timing of price difference acknowledgement and path to purchase, while price discount online vs. offline, purchase urgency and absolute price level will be manipulated within the studies. The between-subjects research design of every study includes 8 cells: 2 (price difference) x 2 (absolute price level) x 2 (purchase urgency).Research employed Ariadna Panel, which allows to reflect a real social structure in terms of gender, age, and urban inhabitancy in Poland. The Panel consists of 300,000 respondents that are constantly verified, and full anonymity is guarantied.The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent group comparisons (Kruskal-Wallis Test and Mann-Whitney U Test), correlation analysis, and finally, regression analysis, where moderating roles of price and purchase urgency were tested employing Hayes SPSS PROCESS macro. This created a database containing data collected during the first wave of the study.The full set of data will be available after the last (sixth) wave of the study is completed. This set includes a tool - a questionnaire and a description of the first wave of the study.</p

    Air pollution in warm (May to August 2022) and cold (November 2022 to February 2023) seasons at urban sites in Vilnius (Lithuania) and Warsaw (Poland)

    OverviewIn-situ measurements were conducted at two urban sites, the urban background site in Vilnius (Lithuania) and the urban site in Warsaw (Poland), for two campaigns: warm (May 1st, 2022, to August 18th, 2022) and cold (November 1st, 2022, to February 28th, 2023) seasons. The data were collected using aethalometers (AE33, Magee Scientific, at both sites) and nephelometers (TSI model 3563 in Vilnius and Ecotech Aurora 4000 in Warsaw). The instruments in Vilnius were installed at the rooftop (25 m a.b.l.) of Center for Physical Sciences and Technology (N54°43’ E25°19’). In Warsaw, the instruments were placed on a rooftop platform (20 m a.b.l.) of Warsaw Observatory Station of the Institute of Geophysics, Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw (N52°13’ E 20°54’). Meteorological data in Warsaw were measured at the same location as the in-situ measurements. In Vilnius, the meteorological data was obtained via API access from the Lithuanian Meteorological Service data archives for Vilnius weather station (N54°37’ E25°6’), located 17.8 km away from the in-situ measurement site.Based on aethalometer measurements, black carbon (BC) source apportionment was performed using the aethalometer model (Sandradewi et al., 2008) to obtain fossil fuel combustion-derived BC (BCFF) and biomass burning-related BC (BCBB). For the cold season, the source apportionment included coal-burning contribution, and the analysis was done for BCFF and BC from biomass and coal-burning (BCBB, C). For the source apportionment, absorption Ångström exponent (AAE) values were selected as follows: in Warsaw AAEFF &#61; 1, AAEBB &#61; 2, in Vilnius AAEFF &#61; 0.9, AAEBB &#61; 2.2 for the warm season; in Warsaw AAEFF &#61; 1.03, AAEBB, C &#61; 1.93, in Vilnius AAEFF &#61; 1.03, AAEBB, C &#61; 1.93 for the cold season. For optical aerosol characterization, absorption Ångström exponent (AAE), scattering Ångström exponent (SAE), and single scattering albedo (SSA) were calculated. The scattering coefficients from nephelometers at both sites were corrected for truncation error using the method suggested by Müller et al. (2011). The calculation of these derived aerosol properties is described in Minderytė et al.
