Voltammetric, UV-Vis and PCA/PLS-DA data on Ni(II)-His2 complexes for anion sensing

No full text
This dataset comprises electrochemical, spectroscopic, and chemometric data related to Ni(II) complexes formed with a library of His2 peptides - sequences featuring a histidine residue in the second position, facilitating effective metal ion coordination. The included voltammetric (DPV) data capture the redox responses of these complexes to biologically relevant anions such as chloride, sulfate, acetate, lactate, and phosphate. UV-vis spectra recorded at physiological pH (7.4) characterize the coordination environment of the complexes. Principal Component Analysis (PCA) models enable the differentiation of anions and peptide sequences based on electrochemical fingerprints. Additional PCA and PLS-DA models support the classification of simulated blood plasma samples with varying concentrations of lactate and phosphate, mimicking physiological and pathological conditions. The dataset supports the development and evaluation of metal–peptide-based sensing platforms for bioanalytical applications. Data (.csv, .txt) includes:*DPV curves of binary Ni(II)-His2 peptide complexes (raw data)*UV-vis spectra of Ni(II)-His2 peptide complexes at pH 7.4*PCA models for anions recognition by Ni(II)-His2 peptide complexes*PCA and PLS-DA models for recognition of physiological and pathological simulated blood plasma samples by Ni(II)-RHR complex</p

Application of waste iron in wet flue gas desulfurization (WFGD) wastewater treatment

No full text
The wet flue gas desulfurization (WFGD) procedure results in wastewater containing a complex mixture of pollutants, including heavy metals and organic compounds, which are hardly degradable and pose significant environmental challenges. We analyzed the properties of waste iron, which was then used as a catalyst in wastewater treatment.</p

Research on the application of the modified Luenberger observer extended with simultaneous estimation of both winding resistances of the IM for detection and compensation of different CS failures.

Research on the application of the modified Luenberger observer extended with simultaneous estimation of both winding resistances of the IM for detection and compensation of different CS failures. This solution enables an accurate stator current reconstruction in the case of different CS faults. In contrast to solutions known in the literature, the proposed approach utilizes a single observer, which allows for improved performance while simultaneously reducing computational requirements compared to dual observers and multi-observers.The data used in this research are attached and contain the transient signals obtained from simulations described as follows:mea - 'measured' valuesreal - ideal values (without measurement noise)emlo - values estimated by the EMLO estimatorc - values used in the control structure and observer - calculated based on measured and estimated valuesref - reference valuesIM - values in the induction motor model</p

Data for the structural equation modeling of Romanian farmers' intention to implement organic farming

No full text
This database contains data gathered in Romanian region of 'Centru'. The included farms meet the following criteria: i) mixed type of farming (both arable and grassland) - the farmer should be involved in at least these two farming systems; ii) the economic size of the holding is within EUR 2 000-25 000 of the annual standard output (SO); and iii) farming is the main occupation of the holder. </p

Sono-photocatalysis for continuous-flow intensification: A disruptive strategy for lignocellulose valorization

No full text
The valorization of lignocellulosic biomass represents a significant frontier in scientific research, promising a sustainable source of renewable energy and valuable chemical compounds. Traditional methods for converting lignocellulose often suffer from challenges such as low selectivity, suboptimal yield, and high energy consumption. To address these issues, innovative approaches that blend different catalytic processes are gaining traction. One such approach is the combination of sonication with photocatalysis in continuous-flow systems. This method offers the potential to revolutionize lignocellulose valorization by enhancing process efficiency and selectivity, thus opening new pathways for producing high-value chemicals and energy sources. This paper delves into the potential of integrating sonication and photocatalysis for lignocellulose conversion within continuous-flow systems. It discusses the opportunities that arise from this synergistic approach, as well as the associated challenges, such as the need for precise control of reaction conditions and the integration of scalable technologies. Moreover, a critical review of the current state of the art in this domain is provided to highlight recent advancements and identify avenues for future exploration. This paper is particularly relevant to researchers, engineers, and professionals in chemical engineering, renewable energy, and environmental science who are focused on sustainable technologies and biomass conversion. It is also valuable for academic and industrial stakeholders seeking innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of biomass processing.</p

Dataset for: strong coupling in bulk nanoplasmonic nanoplatelet perovskite scintillators

No full text
Raw data from the following manuscript. The attached ZIP contains data of PL and XL characterization of CsPbBr3 nanoplatelet suspended in a polymer matrix with plasmonic nanoparticles - silver nanocubes (Ag CNPs) with varying side length (a). Data shows that by varying "a" in a bulk composite, one can obtain Rabi splitting under optical and ionizing radiation. It was the first practical approach to the strong coupling of the scintillation process. Please consult the measurement_info_readme.txt file for additional information.</p
