Effects of ZrO2 nano-particles’ incorporation into SnAgCu solder alloys: an experimental and theoretical study
Our study investigates the mechanism and effects of incorporating different ZrO2 nano-particles into SAC0307 solder alloys.ZrO2 nano-powder and nano-fibers in 0.25 and 0.5 wt% were added to the SAC0307 alloy to prepare composite solder joints by surface mount technology. The ZrO2 had the following dimensions: nano-powder (np) with primary particle sizes of less than 100 nm, and nano-fibers (nf) with diameters of 200–800 nm ± 100 nm and lengths of 2–10 μm (polycrystalline). The solder joints were shear tested before and after a 4000 h long 85 °C/85% RH corrosive reliability test. The solder joints were observed after each 1000 h of the test by a Thermo Scientific Quatro scanning electron microscope (SEM). FIB cuts were prepared and analyzed on the samples by a Thermo Scientific Scios 2 fo-cused ion beam (FIB) to study the microstructure of the solder joints. Elemental compo-sitions were measured by Bruker energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS). The potential interaction between Sn and ZrO2 was investigated using density functional theory (DFT) calculations and simulations. The incorporation of ZrO2 nano-particles enhanced the initial shear force of the solder joint, but they decreased the corrosion resistance in the case of 0.5 wt%. SEM, EDS, and FIB analysis revealed intensive growth of SnO2 on the solder joint surfaces, leading to the formation of Sn whiskers. Density functional theory (DFT) simulations showed that, despite Sn being able to bond to the surface of ZrO2, the binding energy was weak, and the whole system was therefore unstable. It was also found that ZrO2 nano-particles refined the microstructure of the solder joints. Decreased β-Sn grain size and more dispersed intermetallic compounds were observed. The microstructural refinement caused mechanical improvement of the ZrO2 composite solder joints by dispersion strengthening but could also decrease their corrosion resistance. While ZrO2 nano-particles im-proved the solder joint mechanical properties, their use is recommended only in non-corrosive environments, such as microelectronics for space applications. The dataset consists:· the published figures in the article in high resolution· supplementary SEM micrographs of the cross-sectioned solder joints· supplementary optical micrographs of the cross-sectioned solder joints </p
Data for publication: "Decolonization processes in Ukrainian YouTube in user-generated content during Russo-Ukrainian war"
These data concern the article "Decolonization processes in Ukrainian YouTube in user-generated content during Russo-Ukrainian war". The article investigates the processes of cultural decolonization within the Ukrainian YouTube sphere, positioning user-generated content as a significant site of resistance against imperial epistemologies and colonial narratives. The study examines chosen Ukrainian YouTube channels, categorized by audience reach and thematic orientation. The analysis identifies decolonial codes, including the exposure of colonial knowledge systems, cultural reappropriation, and the critique of imperial cultural paradigms. The findings illustrate the role of digital media in the contemporary decolonial process in Ukrainian media, highlighting its impact on epistemic sovereignty during the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian war. Methodology of data collection and analysis: manual non-probability sampling of the YouTube channels, quantitative content analysis, and qualitative computer-assisted content analysis. Transcripts were made by Turboscribe and Notta.ai.</p

Cel ten został zrealizowany za pomocą zgromadzenia danych ilościowych i jakościowych (w ramach wykorzystania modelu mieszanego), do oceny relacji satysfakcji seksualnej i poczucia atrakcyjności, z uwzględnieniem różnic międzypłciowych grupie osób po 65 roku życia.W badaniach ilościowych wzięło udział 114 starszych kobiet (M=68,57 lat, SD = 4,10), oraz148 starszych mężczyzn (M=69,61 lat; SD=4,10) aktywnych seksualnie.W badaniach jakościowych (FGI) wzięło udział 25 kobiet oraz 20 mężczyzn w wieku 60-95 lat.
Archive of Student Mobility: Students' Notebooks from Peregrinationes Academicae (16–17th cent.)
The dataset collects student notebooks from the 16th and 17th centuries, specifically those created during international studies identified during archival missions conducted between 2020-2026 by ERC KnowStudents team members. The data collected are in line with the understanding of the notebook–that has been developed within the project–as an individual repository of knowledge. Rather than seeking to stabilise the term 'notebook', the project aims to map its fluid historical reality. This structure ensures thorough documentation for historical analysis while maintaining a consistent approach in data representation.</p

Utilization of Birch Bark-Derived Suberinic Acid Residues as Additives in High Density Fibreboard Production
This data set contains the results of testing of fiberboards with different amount of suberinic acid esidues (SAR). The SAR obtained from birch outer bark extraction were used in this study to examine the impact of their incorporation into high-density fiberboard (HDF). HDF boards with target densities of 800 kg·m−³ were manufactured using varying SAR contents of 0, 1, 5, 10, 20, and 50%. Standardized tests were conducted to evaluate the mechanical and physical properties of the resulting boards. Mechanical performance was assessed through screw withdrawal resistance, modulus of elasticity, modulus of rupture and internal bond, while surface water absorption, water absorption and thickness swelling were used to evaluate moisture resistance and dimensional stability.</p
