Załączone dane do repozytorium stanowią materiał badawczy do artykułu zatytułowanego "Corneal epithelial thickness maps in eyes with mild and moderate keratoconus". Dane zawierają wiek włączonych pacjentów, dane dotyczące refrakcji, charakterystykę keratometryczną badanych oczu, dokładną charakterystykę pachymetryczną nabłonka rogówki z podziałem na sektory. Dane podzielono na 3 grupy: oczy zdrowe, oczy z wczesnym stożkiem rogówki oraz oczy z umiarkowanym stożkiem rogówki. Na podstawie tych danych przeprowadzono analizę, która umożliwiła scharakteryzowanie badanych grup.</p
Analysis of tribological wear of metallic membranes after the hydrogenation process
The ZIP archive contains compressed raw data from the process of hydrogen charging of metallic membranes, results of tribological tests, and tests using scanning and transmission electron microscopy method. Eksperymenty zostały przeprowadzone na linii HBE wt i HBE∆α traktowanych symulatorem pyłu księżycowego (LD) o stężeniu 100µg/ml przez 4 dni. Zastosowano również modulatory kanału BK, takie jak 10µM NARYNGENIN (NAR), 5µM NS1619, 10µM PAXYLIN. Następnie, komórki były odklejane i barwione według procedury Apoptosis/ Necrosis Detection Kit (blue, green, red) ab176749. Następnie komórki były podda analizie cytometrycznej w celu określenia liczebności poszczególnych komórek.</p

Application of a self‑powered bipolar electrode system for silver ion release controlled by a chemical stimulus
Applicability of a self-powered cascade bipolar electrode system for driving chemical charge transfer reactions (which under typical conditions do not occur spontaneously) was tested. As a proof of concept, oxidation of silver to silver ions was studied because the controlled release of small amounts of silver ions is of practical significance, e.g., due to their antibacterial activity. Since bacterial infection results in local acidification, effective bacteria killing by silver ions requires “stimuli-pH responsive” silver ions releasing arrangements. The applied cascade system consists of two bipolar electrodes (circuits) arranged in closed mode. One of the circuits, the “driving” one, is characterized by a high potential difference between opposite ends of the electrode (zinc wire connected with platinum electrode in the presence of hydrogen ions). Therefore, this bipolar electrode can trigger the silver oxidation process at the second bipolar electrode (silver/silver chloride electrode connected with silver wire). Cascade bipolar electrode architecture opens the possibility of tailored coupling chemical processes without need of electrochemical instrumentation. In the studied simple system, the process of silver oxidation can be effectively stimulated and controlled by the concentration of hydrogen ions contacting the platinum electrode, as a model of “stimuli-pH responsive” system, where lower pH actuates a higher rate of silver ion release. Electrochemical experiments were supplemented by quantification of silver released (ICP MS, UV/Vis). Basing on these results, some more general predictions concerning charge transfer reactions control and their sensitivity to external conditions for bipolar electrode systems were proposed.Data is organized into separate tabular files, available for download in various formats (XLSX, TAB, RDATA).Units used in tables are specified in each column name, inside square brackets [].</p

The Gaussian output files containing relaxed structures of BAe3 (Ae=Be, Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba) superalkali clusters and corresponding anionic and cationic equilibrium geometries. The structures have been relaxed at the Moller-Plesset (MP2) perturbational method with the Pople split-valence basis sets of triple zeta quality, 6-311+G(3df). The output files contain the final energies of the MP2/6-311+G(3df) optimized neutral and ionic BAe3 (Ae=Be, Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba) equilibrium geometries obtained at the coupled cluster method (CCSD) and using the 6-311+G(3df) basis set for the MP2/6-311+G(3df) corresponding neutral and ionic BAe3 (Ae=Be, Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba) equilibrium geometries, i.e. the CCSD/6-311+G(3df)//MP2/6-311+G(3df) energies.</p
