Interaction kinetics between allicin with cell cycle regulators
[ENG:]The dataset contains voltammograms recorded using chronoamperommetry for diadenosine triphosphate (Ap3A) and diadenosine tetraphosphate (Ap4A) electrostatically deposited on the surface of the working electrode, and then exposed to solutions of allicin of various concentrations. Detailed information on molecular ratios can be found in the "ReadMe" file.The data were recorded using a three-electrode system consisting of a working electrode – a carbon paste electrode, an AgCl reference electrode and a measuring electrode Pt. Ap3A and Ap4A molecules were deposited on the outer layer of the working electrode using the +0.5V potential.The files contain recorded signals in the form of current [A] registered for working potential +1.45 V for Ap3A and +1.5 V for Ap4A, as a function of interaction time [s]. The reference were signals of Ap3A or Ap4A changing in time.[PL:]Zbiór danych zawiera woltamperogramy zarejestrowane techniką chronoamperometrii dla diadenozynotrifosforanu (Ap3A) oraz diadenozynotetrafosforanu (Ap4A) osadzonych elektrostatycznie na powierzchni elektrody pracującej, a następnie poddane ekspozycji na roztwory allicyny o różnych stężeniach. Szczegółowe informacje na temat stosunków molowych można znaleźć w pliku „ReadMe”.Dane zarejestrowano przy pomocy układu trójelektrodowego składającego się z elektrody pracującej – elektrody z pasty węglowej, elektrody referencyjnej AgCl oraz elektrody pomiarowej Pt. Cząsteczki Ap3A oraz Ap4A osadzano na powierzchni elektrody pracującej przy pomocy potencjału +0,5V.Pliki zawierają zarejestrowane sygnały w postaci natężenia prądu [A] zarejestrowane dla potencjału detekcyjnego 1,45 V dla Ap3A oraz 1,5 V dla Ap4A, jako funkcję czas interakcji [s]. Jako odniesienie stosowano zmianę w czasie sygnału zdeponowanego Ap3A lub Ap4A.</p
Early-stage growth performance of apple trees under different biochar application methods in mineral and organic fertilisation regimes
An one-year field trial was performed in a young apple orchard of the ‘Gala Brookfield Baigent’ cultivar grafted onto dwarfing P 60 rootstock. Three methods of biochar application, i.e. plough incorporation, planting-hole application and surface spreading, each in combination with compost or mineral nitrogen fertilisation, were tested against the fertilisers applied singly and an untreated control. This gave a total of nine treatments, each represented by three replicates arranged in a completely randomised design. A single replicate consisted of four contiguous trees growing in a row.The following basic parameters related to tree growth and fruiting potential were assessed: (i.) trunk circumference; (ii.) total length of current-year shoots; (iii.) number of long shoots; (iv.) number of short shoots; (v.) number of mixed-type buds; (vi.) leaf area, and (vii.) leaf dry matter. The measurements i.–v. were taken during the dormancy period following the first year of tree growth in the orchard. Trunk circumference was measured at a height of 30 cm above the grafting site. Shoots shorter than 20 cm were considered short shoots, while longer ones were considered long shoots. Leaf sampling (measurements vi.–vii.) was carried out during the growing season.The attached data is organised in a long format with column headings explaining their content. Individual parameters are presented in separate files. The file names indicate the names of the particular parameters assessed.</p

Electrospun nanofibers loaded with marigold extract based on PVP/HPβCD and PCL/PVP scaffolds for wound healing applications
Dissolution.xlsx - data represent the percentage of chlorogenic acid released. Columns indicate the systems tested, rows the corresponding time points. Data are presented as a percentage. Electrospun nanofibers were subjected to dissolve experiments using Agilent 708-DS dissolving equipment (Santa Clara, CA, USA). A typical basket method was used, with 50 rpm and stirring at 37 ± 0.5 °C. Nanofibers (mass N1- 207,2/205,2/206,2 mg, N2 - 168,7/187,2/178,2 mg, N3 - 107,6/120,3/110,2 mg, N4 - 169,0/170,2/162,8 mg) were added to 300 mL of phosphate buffer (pH 5.5), which mimics the pH of skin. At regular intervals, liquid samples were collected, and the same volume of temperature-stabilized medium was swapped out. A nylon membrane filter with a mesh size of 0.45 µm was used to filter the samples. Antibiotic susceptibility profiles and genetic determinants of resistance in Listeria innocua isolated from food in Poland
[ENG:]A total of 15 files containing experimental data have been deposited in the database. These include: a file with information on the isolates, their origin, resistance profiles, and the presence of resistance genes (Data_on_isolates_resistance_profiles.csv); two files with inhibition zone diameters around antibiotic discs obtained for the first and second technical replicates (Data_inhibition_zones_1st_technical_replicate.csv and Data_inhibition_zones_2nd_technical_replicate.csv); four files containing microbiological culture images with inhibition zones for the first technical replicate (Images_of_inhibition_zones_1st_technical_replicate_1.zip, Images_of_inhibition_zones_1st_technical_replicate_2.zip, Images_of_inhibition_zones_1st_technical_replicate_3.zip, and Images_of_inhibition_zones_1st_technical_replicate_4.zip); five files with images for the second technical replicate (Images_of_inhibition_zones_2nd_technical_replicate_1.zip, Images_of_inhibition_zones_2nd_technical_replicate_2.zip, Images_of_inhibition_zones_2nd_technical_replicate_3.zip, Images_of_inhibition_zones_2nd_technical_replicate_4.zip, and Images_of_inhibition_zones_2nd_technical_replicate_5.zip); and three sets of files presenting agarose gel electrophoresis PCR results for the respective resistance genes (Electrophoresis_results_for_the_mecA_gene.zip, Electrophoresis_results_for_the_lnuA_and_lnuB_genes.zip, and Electrophoresis_results_for_the_cfr_optrA_and_poxtA_genes.zip). The data represent the results of a study analyzing the antimicrobial susceptibility of 51 Listeria innocua isolates, originating from raw and processed meat products as well as from the meat-processing environment, to 18 selected antibiotics. Antimicrobial susceptibility was determined using the disc diffusion method, following CLSI (2020) guidelines. Dane przedstawiają wyniki badań nad analizą wrażliwości 51 izolatów bakterii Listeria innocua, pochodzących z surowych i przetworzonych produktów mięsnych oraz ze środowiska zakładów przetwórstwa mięsa, na 18 wybranych antybiotyków. Wrażliwość oznaczano metodą krążkowo-dyfuzyjną, zgodnie z wytycznymi CLSI (2020). Izolaty wykazujące oporność lub wrażliwość pośrednią poddano dalszej analizie w kierunku obecności genów oporności z zastosowaniem techniki PCR.</p

Structural characteristic of pyridine carboxylic acid adducts with squaric acid
In this work, squaric acid (3,4-dihydroxycyclobut-3-ene-1,2-dione) was used as a coformer to pyridine carboxylic acid cocrystallization. All of the multicomponent systems mentioned were obtained by cocrystallization from solution via slow solvent evaporation. Among the three newly prepared complexes are an example of a salt–cocrystal continuum – pyridinium-2-carboxylate squaric acid adduct (1) and two ionic complexes – pyridinium-3-carboxylic acid hydrogen squarate hemihydrate (2), and pyridinium-4-carboxylic acid hydrogen squarate (3). The dataset consists of CIF files showing the packing of molecules in the crystal lattice, which may be useful for further theoretical analyses.</p
