Wstępna ocena narażenia psów i kotów na dioksyny i związki pokrewne zawarte w karmie dla zwierząt domowych
Celem projektu realizowanego w ramach konkursu Miniatura 8 (nr projektu: 2024/08/X/NZ7/00997), było określenie narażenia zwierząt towarzyszących człowiekowi (psy i koty) na Trwałe Zanieczyszczenia Organiczne (TZO) takie jak 7 kongenerów polichlorowanych dibenzo-p-dioksyn (PCDD), 10 kongenerów polichlorowanych dibenzofuranów (PCDF) oraz 18 kongenerów polichlorowanych bifenyli (PCB), które mogą znajdować się w karmie dla zwierząt domowych.Materiał badawczy stanowiły zakupione próbki różnych rodzajów karm komercyjnych dla psów oraz kotów. Dla każdego rodzaju zwierzęcia przebadanych zostało 20 próbek dedykowanej karmy, połowę z nich stanowiły karmy suche a drugą połowę karmy mokre. Łącznie przebadano 40 próbek. W badaniach zastosowano metodę kapilarnej chromatografii gazowej sprzężonej z wysokorozdzielczą spektrometrią mas. Analizę próbek wykonano z zastosowaniem akredytowanej procedury opartej na technice chromatografii gazowej sprzężonej ze spektrometrią mas wysokiej rozdzielczości HRGC-HRMS. Metoda ta uważana jest za złoty standard w analityce dioksyn, ponieważ jako jedyna pozwala na tzw. analizę tła, dostarcza pełnych informacji o występujących kongenerach oraz o poziomie ich stężeń. Cechuje ją wysoka czułość [wykrywanie PCDD, PCDF oraz PCB na poziomie pikogramów TEQ (10-12g)].W żadnej z przeanalizowanych karm nie stwierdzono stężenia dioksyn i PCB przekraczającego najwyższy dopuszczalny poziom (ML) lub próg podejmowania działań (ang. action level- AL), zgodnie z rozporządzeniem 277/2012/UE. Poziomy analizowanych kontaminantów w badanych próbkach były niskie. Świadczy to o dobrej jakości karm dla psów i kotów w odniesieniu do dioksyn i PCB.</p
The proteome profile of hemolymph in the false widow spider Steatoda grossa (Theridiidae) under cadmium and copper intoxication
The dataset provides research data on the effects of long-term exposure to xenobiotic cadmium and biogenic copper, administered through contaminated prey, on the protein profile of the hemolymph in Steatoda grossa (Araneae: Theridiidae) spiders. The study focuses on both quantitative and qualitative changes in the hemolymph proteome in response to artificial and natural immunostimulants: phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (PMA) and bacterial suspensions (Staphylococcus aureus [G+], Pseudomonas fluorescens [G-]).The collected data include:• Analysis of the protein profile in female Steatoda grossa spiders that were chronically exposed to cadmium and copper through their food and were additionally immunostimulated.• Results of heavy metal concentrations in the bodies of spiders.The protein analysis was performed using 2D DIGE. Proteins were quantified with the 2D Quant Kit and cleaned with the 2D Clean-Up Kit. They were labeled with fluorescence dyes, followed by rehydration on an IPG strip and isoelectric focusing (IEF). After focusing, proteins were reduced and alkylated. The second dimension was run using polyacrylamide gels. Protein maps were visualized with a Typhoon FLA 9500 scanner and analyzed using Image Master™ 2D Platinum 7.0 software. Spots of interest were excised after silver nitrate staining for further analysis.Peptide separation was performed using a Dionex UltiMate 3000 RSLC nano system and Bruker AmaZon Speed ETD mass spectrometer. Peptides were loaded onto a C18 precolumn, separated on a C18 analytical column, and analyzed by MS and MS/MS. Data were processed using Compass Data Analysis and ProteinScape 3. Protein identification was done via the MASCOT Server with databases restricted to Metazoa or Araneae. Proteins with a score >37 were considered identified.</p

Files include the data obtained during realization of project NCN OPUS 27 "Modeling and optimization of multi-service and multilayer Xhaul networks" ("Modelowanie i optymalizacja wielousługowych i wielowarstwowych sieci Xhaul").The data includes results from simulation experiments on RING network topologies that study dynamic DU reallocation in a packet-switched Xhaul network, obtained for varying traffic demands over a 24h daily cycle.The network scenarios, the DU reallocation mechanism, and the results analysis were presented in the article M. Amino-sugar stabilized rhenium-based heterogenous catalysts for the flow mode production of aromatic amines
The colletion contains a set of data related to the synthesis of amino-sugar stabilized heterogenous catalyst containing rhenium apparent nanoparticles. The catalyst was then used as a bed in flow-mode packed bed reactor aimed at the synthesis of aromatic amines from nitroaromatic compounds.The research was carried out within Opus 25 project (UMO-2023/49/B/ST8/01029) granted by National Science Center (Poland). Obrazowanie oparte o gazowe powielacze elektronowe w warunkach intensywnego promieniowania z plazmy tokamakowej.
Celem tych badań jest zaprojektowanie i zbudowanie systemu obrazowania promieniowania plazmowego dla urządzeń fuzyjnych, który koncentruje się na obszarze miękkiego promieniowania rentgenowskiego od około 2 do 15 keV energii fotonów. Oczekuje się, że proponowany system diagnostyczny 2D, w przeciwieństwie do konwencjonalnych systemów 1D, skorzysta z tangencjalnego pola widzenia i dostarczy nowych danych do obserwacji zjawisk toroidalnych. Niniejsze dane dotyczą publikacji, gdzie przedstawiono optymalizację struktury odczytu detektora opartego na technologii GEM przeznaczonego do obrazowania rentgenowskiego w zakresie energii 2-15 keV.</p
Biological recovery of metals from waste lithium-ion batteries with the use of extremophilic microorganisms - experiment database (leaching with citric acid, A. thiooxidans and A. niger)
Data obtained during the research experiments (leaching with citric acid, bioleaching with the use of A. thiooxidans bacteria and A. niger funghi) of the project entitled "Biological recovery of metals from used lithium-ion batteries with the use of extremophilic microorganisms" financed by the grant Miniatura 6 of the National Science Center (NCN) 2022/06/X/ST10/00230.The research aimed to determine the potential of biological methods using extremophilic microorganisms to recover metals from waste lithium-ion batteries - cobalt, copper, lithium and nickel. The dataset contains the results of research conducted in this area. As part of the experiments, the metal recovery rates from the battery powder were determined by the metal concentrations in the starting material and solutions after leaching using the ICP-OES method. In addition, the quantitative and qualitative composition of the battery powder and residues after leaching using the XRD method was established. The README file contains a description and explanation of all deposited files.</p
Raw data for publication "Halloysite supplemented in the diet, and sex of Cherry Valley ducks affects growth, carcass composition, meat quality, and jejunum and leg bone strength"
Natural minerals like halloysite may enhance waterfowl nutrition. This study evaluated the effects of 1% halloysite in the diet of male and female Cherry Valley ducks on growth, carcass traits, meat quality, and jejunum and leg bone strength. Ducks were assigned to control and experimental groups (50 birds each), with halloysite added to the experimental group’s diet for 42 days. Halloysite reduced final body weight and weight gain but increased liver weight. Female ducks had more pectoral muscle, total muscle, and abdominal fat, while males had more carcass remains. Treated ducks showed lower protein but higher collagen, fat, and water in pectoral muscles. Control ducks had redder and yellower leg muscles; males had more fat than females. Halloysite increased jejunum strength. Halloysite negatively affected growth but altered meat quality and improved jejunum strength. Analysis of the spatial distribution of metabolites in Aloe vera leaves by mass spectrometry imaging and UHPLC-UHRMS
The materials include documentation of experiments on mass spectrometry imaging of Aloe vera leaf cross section by LARAPPI/CI MSI (laser ablation remote atmospheric pressure photoionization/chemical ionization mass spectrometry imaging) and 109AgNPs-LDI (109-silver nanoparticle-assisted laser desorption/ionization)-MSI and UHPLC-UHRMS (ultra-high performance liquid chromatography - ultra high resolution mass spectrometry) analysis of Aloe vera leaf extracts using a Bruker Impact II instrument in positive and negative mode.LARAPPICI_MSI.zip: file contains spectral and spatial data generated during the LARAPPI/CI-MSI analysis of A. vera leaf cross section imaging. The data is in .d format and can be opened using an open-source R package that is freely available.LDI_MSI.zip: file contains spectral and spatial data generated during the 109AgNPs-LDI-MSI, including the .jpg file of the imaged imprint. The data can be opened using an open-source R package that is freely available.LCMS.zip: file contains folders for negative and positive mode analysis, including three measurement repetitions. Evaluation of the effect of local surface modifications on airfoil aerodynamic characteristics for selected Reynolds numbers – Research results
The repository contains the results of studies on two wings with Clark Y and Selig S1223 airfoil profiles. The wings were modified by integrating sprayers mounted on their lower surface in five configurations: single sprayer at the leading edge (A), single sprayer at mid-chord (B), double sprayers at the leading edge (C), double sprayers at mid-chord (D), and asymmetric double sprayers (E). Reference cases are marked with the suffix “smooth.” Three sprayers differing in geometry were analyzed: 6MS (Agroplast 6MS 05P2), 8MS (Agroplast 8MS 110 05P2), and ID (Lechler ID-120-05).1. Archive file “WT”: Contains 160 CSV files with the results of experimental wind tunnel tests. The archive includes folders and subfolders specifying the investigated configuration, determined by: airfoil type, sprayer type, sprayer arrangement, and airflow velocity expressed in m/s.2.
