Collection of social ecological indicators for the assessment of gradients of the Metropolitan Zones Ateliers

    No full text
Open, world wide rasters (biogeoregions, land surface temperature, normalised difference vegetation index, population density and land cover) are cropped with respect to the polygons of the Zones Ateliers so as to compute indicators. This dataset contains the shapefile of Metropolitan Zones Ateliers reworked from DEIMS-SDR. It also contains JSON files, one per ZA, that contain indicators (namely BIOG, LSTD, LSTN, NDVI, GPW4, and LC) computed as averages or quantiles

Données chrono-systémiques pour le socio-ecosystème de la Ligne Maginot Aquatique (Timeline data for the social-ecological system of the Maginot Aquatic Line)

    No full text

Landuse map of metropolitan France in 2021

    No full text
This landuse map with a metric resolution was produced based on the BDTopo, enriched by the RPG to specify the uses of agricultural spaces. Its objective is to provide land cover data usable by the Fluvial Corridor Toolbox at a regional scale. The nomenclature therefore focuses on uses of interest for a hydromorphological analysis of alluvial plains and the lateral continuity of watercourses. This is notably with this landuse map that the metrics presented in the Mapd'O application are calculated

This dataset contains the shapefile, rasters for variables BIOG (biogeoregion), LSTD (land surface temperature day), LSTN (land surface temperature night), NDVI (normalized difference vegetation index), GPW4 (population density), and LC (land cover) wropeed with respect to the shapefile, and social ecological indicators for these variables computed as averages or quantiles

Vertical profile of ozone concentration at the Barbeau-Fontainebleau research forest station

    No full text
The dataset is half-houlry means of ozone (O3) concentrations (in ppb) measured in air along a vertical profile, from 10 of October 2014 to 31 of December 2019, at the Barbeau-Fontainebleau research forest station (www.barbeau.universite-paris-saclay.fr, FR-Fon). Location : 48.476358, 2.780096 The heights of air inlets are 0.10, 0.23, 0.54, 1.26, 2.93, 15.90 and 37.00 meters above ground level. Ozone data were recorded with a Thermo Scientific 49i analyzer coupled with a pumping system that allowed air to go through the analyzer sequentially from the different air inlets. All the pumping system (filters, tubes, tubes connections, pump membranes) was composed of teflon (PTFE, PFA) or stainless steel material. The variable name is called O3_H_V_R, where : - H and V stands for the position of the sensors on a 2D space (H for horizaontal and V for vertical - R identifies the presence of replicated measurements in the same location For example in this dataset, the variables O3_2_1_1 and O3_2_2_1 are located at the same horizontal position but differs in vertical one

Nutrient concentrations in 59 Antarctic fur seal (Arctocephalus gazella) scats collected in 2022 in two colonies of the Kerguelen Islands, southern Indian Ocean

    No full text
The dataset contains dry weight nutrient concentrations (20 nutrients, calcium Ca, phosphorus P, sodium Na, potassium K, magnesium Mg, strontium Sr, iron Fe, zinc Zn, copper Cu, manganese Mn, selenium Se, arsenic As, nickel Ni, cobalt Co, molybdenum Mo, chromium Cr, cadmium Cd, vanadium V, silver Ag, lead Pb) measured on 59 scat samples from Antarctic fur seals (Arctocephalus gazella) collected in Cap Noir (49°07’ S 70°45’ E) and Pointe Suzanne (49°44’ S 70°44’ E) colonies of the Kerguelen Islands (southern Indian Ocean), during austral summer 2021-2022. Samples were stored at -20°C within 48 hours of collection and until processing. In 2022, scat samples were individually thawed, cleaned of large plant debris, weighted and stored at -20°C before being freeze-dried for a minimum of 72 hours and ground to fine powder until analysis. All material was carefully rinsed with ultrapure water and ethanol between samples to avoid contamination. Total concentrations of major constitutive chemical elements in biological tissues (P, Ca, K, Na, Mg) were determined by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-OES, Vista-Pro Varian). Aliquots of samples (∼250 mg dry mass of homogenised powder) were digested using a 6:2 (v/v) mixture with nitric acid (HNO3 69%, Trace Metal Grade®, FisherScientific) and hydrochloric acid (HCl, 34%, Trace Metal Grade®, FisherScientific). Acidic digestion of the samples was performed over-night at room temperature and then in a microwave oven (START-D, Milestone). Finally, the digestats were diluted to 50 mL with ultrapure water before analyses with ICP-OES. Total concentrations of essential trace nutrients (As, Co, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Se, Zn) were determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS, ICAP-Qc ThermoFisher). Aliquots of samples (∼200 mg dry mass of homogenised powder) were placed in Teflon bombs and mineralized with a mixture of ultrapure HNO3 acid (PlasmaPure Plus grade, SCP Science®) and ultrapure water using a micro-wave (ETHOS-UP, Milestone). The digests were then diluted to 50 mL with ultrapure water before analyses with ICP-MS. The quality assurance of all metal analyses relied on blank and internal standard controls, and on the accuracy and reproducibility of data relative to the certified reference materials (CRMs) used in each analytical run. Blank values were systematically below the detection limits and CRM values concurred with certified concentrations. Results for the CRMs are provided in the datase

Jeu de données pour tester l'interface logicielle "data2geo" de portage de métadonnées de Dataverse vers Geonetwork

    No full text

Map of the current and potential populations of the Western Europe lynx (Lynx lynx) metapopulation

    No full text
In compliance with the initial recommendations made by the national action plan (PNA), in March 2022 the Ecology Minister and the Junior Minister for Biodiversity together commissioned the National Museum of Natural History (MNHN) and the French Biodiversity Agency (OFB) to carry out an assessment of the conditions required for the viability of the Eurasian lynx in France in 2030, a decisive factor for its presence in France, and the effects on viability of a potential effort to reinforce those populations. The assessment was carried out over 18 months by a project team and a group of 15 French and Swiss experts implementing a multi-disciplinary approach in the fields of both ecology and the human and social sciences. The project also benefited from the knowledge of French and European experts from outside the project team, who were contacted as needed to fill out and enhance the overall process. The files presented here map both i) the geographic range of current and potential populations composing the Western Europe lynx metapopulation according to the 2024 population viability assessment work performed, as well as ii) the respective areas they are susceptible to expand into if environmental condition were to become more favorable. The delimitation of the current range of each population was based on the proportion of favorable habitat within a 10x10km grid. The threshold retained, of at least 40%, allowed to get delimitation matching the presence range currently observed and were also validated by experts of the species ecology. The area each population could geographically extend into were derived from the former using Voronoi Tessellation
