Data from a rhizotron experiment using three Mediterranean species
Data from a rhizotron experiment using three Mediterranean species (Brachypodium retusum, Cistus albidus and Quercus coccifera): two individuals eirher of the same species or of two diifferent species were grown together. The data are about root parameters (RB: root biomass; RE: root elongation rate; SRL: specific root length; RTD: root tissue density; RTh: root thickness; RD: root density; Diam: root diameter) and soil microbial MicroResp™ parameters, mesured for different plant combination, drought treatments and soil depths
Genotypic and phenotypic data of ancestral and descendant populations of Viola arvensis in four location of the Parisian region
This dataset was obtain while genotyping using microsatellites and phenotyping ancestral and descendant populations of four locations of the field pansy (Viola arvensis). Ancestral populations was obtained from seedbanks and were collected in the field in 90's-2000's and descendant were collected in the field in 2021. A first generation was grown in common garden in 2021 and genotyped (genotypes.csv). Using mother from the first generation, a second generation composed of families of 5 siblings was grown in controlled greenhouses in 2022. We phenotyped this second generation (vegetative_traits.csv, floral_traits.csv, floral_display.csv, nectar.csv, seeds.csv, visit_pollinators.csv). Measurements were made following the methods described in this paper https://doi.org/10.1101/2023.05.25.542270
