In this article, we discuss the issue of "literary doubt" in Taha Hussein’s "In the Pre-Islamic Poetry"("fi alsh¡er aljahli"), which raised a great debate in the Arab critical circles. Modeling and Estimation of Financial Time Series Using Long Memory Model (Palestine Stock Market as a Model)
No full textThis study aimed to using long memory model to modeling and estimation of Financial Time Series , through the study and analysis of time series data for Stock Prices in Palestine Stock Market, using the Autoregressive Fractionally Integrated Moving Average model -ARFIMA (p, d, q)-, where we have verified by several mathematical and graphical tests; that the series have a long memory property. Then we determined the value of the fractional difference parameter (d) for ARFIMA model; using three estimating methods, where dSperio method outperformed on the other three methods, R / S, Fracdiff and Empirical Hurst Exponent, to obtain the ARFIMA model required. Statistical results also indicated that the most appropriate model to represent the data series Stock prices in Palestine Stock Market is ARFIMA (2,0. 3134419,2), with a value of fractional difference (d = 0.3134419), which has succeeded in all necessary Diagnostic statistical tests
The Efficiency of the Maghreb Financial Markets: Tests of the Weak Form.
No full textThe concept of efficient financial markets implies that the prices of financial assets correctly and fully reflect all available information. There are three forms of efficiency (weak, semi strong and strong). In this work, we present an empirical analysis of the weak form over a period of 10 years from 01/01/2010 to 12/31/2019 of the Maghreb financial markets (Moroccan, Tunisian and Algerian) through the monthly returns of their respective index (Masi, Tunindex and Dzairindex). For this, we used random walk tests (correlation tests, runs, stationarity and variance ratio). The advanced results are rather mixed because the stationarity tests (Dickey Fuller, Dickey Fuller Augmented and Phillips Perron) rejected this form for the three indices; correlation tests (Box-Pierce, Box - Ljung) have validated it for Masi and Tunindex; the runs test and the variance ratio test validated it for the three Maghrebian indices

No full textThis study aims to investigate the impact of high oil prices on foreign trade variables during the period 1980-2018, using the error correction vector model (VECM), The results of Johansen test indicate the existing of a long-run equilibrium relationship between the study variables. The impulse response function (IRF) proved that the oil price rising positively affects the foreign trade variables. The results of the variance decomposition showed that the oil price explains most of the changes that occur in Exports and imports, as well as the weak percentage of the changes that happen in both real exchange rate in the short and long term, The causality test results also proved the existence of a two-way relationship between exports and the price of oil, and a one-way causal relationship moving from the oil price and the exchange rate to import

In Kuwait, United Gulf Bank in Bahrain). The time period for the search was for annual data from 2005 to 2019. The research started from a problem (Is there an impact of credit risk on financial safety indicators?) Due to its great impact on the success of banking activity. In order to analyze the effect, the SPSS statistical package program was used according to the simple linear regression method, The most important conclusions were reached, the presence of a statistically significant effect between credit risk indicators and financial soundness indicators, with the exception of the loan-to-assets ratio on the profitability index, because the level of significance (9.5%) is higher than the acceptable level (5%)
