The Effects of Consumerism: A Psychological Spiral
My research focuses on the damaging effects on materialism and commercialization on the human psyche. My investigation revealed to me the complex, constantly developing, conscious and unconscious viewpoint(s) of consumerism. From a psychological lens, excessive and pleasure purchases are exhausting our endorphin and serotonin levels. On the other hand, we observe an increase in pop-up shops and digitized marketing being presented to us in ways that manipulate our emotions.

This research investigates Christian nationalism\u27s impact on U.S. policy and societal division, revealing how deeply religious ideologies intertwine with political affiliations to influence governance. While highlighting potential threats to democratic inclusivity, it also considers the potential benefits of religious engagement in fostering community support and public health initiatives.
