A Study on the Cultural Values of Asian Hotels from the Perspective of Feng Shui
Get PDFFrom the perspective of Feng Shui culture, this study examines six hotels in Hong Kong and Bangkok. By observing the design, decoration, and environmental layout of these hotels, as well as interviewing hotel staff on-site, the study explores the cultural values embodied in Asian hotel culture. Through a three-tier coding system, the research identifies the cultural values of Asian hotels as respecting the natural environment, valuing traditional culture, emphasizing harmony and balance, respecting guest needs, and considering destiny. These findings provide a basis for a better understanding of customer needs in the hotel industry and for improving their hospitality culture. They also offer valuable insights for future hotel design and management practices

In today\u27s business settings, the combination of office politics and the absence of essential leadership traits can lead to significant issues that negatively impact the performance of organizations and the well-being of employees. Many companies struggle to foster a culture of effective communication and teamwork, often allowing political issues to shape employee behavior and decision-making. Ignoring or overlooking important leadership skills necessary to foster an encouraging and supportive workplace exacerbates this problem. If leaders don�t focus on developing these skills, they may unintentionally create an environment filled with confusion and rivalry instead of teamwork. Additionally, the effects of these issues become clearer when looking at different views on corporate meetings and team interactions, as shown in studies about tech workers preferring one-on-one meetings instead of large group ones [citeX]. These preferences highlight the need for leadership that focuses on inclusion and efficiency, which can lead to better teamwork and productivity in organizations.
A detailed look at problems in corporate environments shows several key points that highlight how important leadership qualities are and how much political interactions matter. The study finds that not understanding essential leadership traits causes mismanagement and also harms organizational morale and productivity. Furthermore, research demonstrates that external factors such as corruption in global business exacerbate these issues, as companies that fail to recognize the impact of such practices on their strategies often exacerbate their weaknesses ([81]). Furthermore, research on the relationship between multinational companies and resource-rich developing nations reveals that political tactics often overshadow ethical governance, perpetuating inefficiencies within organizations ([82]). In the end, the combination of poor leadership understanding and political involvement stands out as a major challenge, calling for a review of corporate governance structures to promote better and more ethical leadership practices. The theme illustrates the challenges of handling political situations in business.

We present two patients under three years of age with unstable type IV lesions in the modified classification of Torode and Zieg, who were managed surgically through open reductions and placement of osteosynthesis material. It is impossible to standardize management protocols in this age group, therefore the most appropriate thing is to adhere to pre-established treatment guidelines for skeletally mature people. Our objective is to highlight this type of high-energy injuries that occur with increasing frequency. regularity in very young patients and that on some occasions there will be the need, according to the fracture patterns, to perform the corresponding surgical stabilization to avoid major complications in the short, medium or long term
Valvulopathies of Rheumatic Origin: Management and Complications
Get PDFObjective: The objective of this study is to gather information and studies about valvular heart disease of rheumatic origin and its clinical repercussions, management and complications. Methods: Integrative review, carried out between August 2024, using the digital library Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), the Virtual Health Library (VHL) and PUBMED in the databases using the Boolean operators: AND and OR. The results were obtained through management with the Rayyan 16 QCRI application and were structured in PRISMA flowcharts. Results: With the search in the databases, 219 articles were found, of which 122 were selected for reading and, according to the objective of the present work, 7 articles were included in the research. Conclusion: In the studies observed, it is concluded that rheumatic valvular disease is a high-impact condition on the quality of life of patients who suffer from them and who influence in one way or another in the development of a country, as many manifest themselves in ages at which the person is economically active and the onset and exacerbations of symptoms translate into frequent work incapacity, hospitalizations and even more so if a surgical intervention is planned. It is important that the identification of clinical patterns by health professionals, with the early diagnosis and timely treatment
