Risks of Endometrial Carcinogenesis and Assisted Reproductive Technologies: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
Purpose of study: to study the possible relationship between in vitro fertilization, the use of ovulation stimulation drugs and the risk of developing uterine cancer in women with infertility.
Material and methods: literature search for a systematic review was carried out in the bibliographic databases Medline, ClinicalKey, Google Scholar, Embase, The Cochrane Library, eLIBRARY for the period 1999-2022. Publications were searched using keywords defined according to the PICO principle (P = population or patients, I = intervention, C = comparison and O = outcomes): female, women, infertility, infertility treatment, in vitro fertilization, IVF, assisted reproductive technologies, ART, ovarian stimulation, ovarian hyperstimulation, clomiphene citrate, hCG, hMG, tamoxifen, uterine, endometrial, cancer, carcinoma neoplasm, uterine neoplasms. The following SQL operators were used during the search: AND, OR.�
Results: As a result of the search, 37 representative publications were found, during the selection process 8 studies were selected for meta-analysis.
Conclusion: A systematic review and meta-analysis has demonstrated the ambiguity of the design and results of studies on the possible relationship of uterine cancer and methods of assisted reproductive technologies published to date. The problem is very relevant due to the high incidence of infertility and the increase in the incidence of cancer of the female reproductive organs. The conducted studies confirm the impossibility to evaluate in isolation the carcinogenic effect of ovulation inducers or in vitro fertilization methods without adjusting for the infertility factor, as well as risk factors for uterine cancer. There remains a high need for more research as well as for the safety profile of infertility treatments in relation to long-term cancer risks
Portrait of Female Mortality at Fertile Age between 2018 and 2022 in a City in Southern Brazil: a Comparative Study
In Brazil, women represent 51.5% of the population and play multiple roles, including family care and household chores, which directly impacts their health. IBGE data indicates that women are the main users of health services, accounting for 78% of users. Corroborating their role in modern society, there have been changes in the mortality profile of women, which is the focus of this study. The aim of the study was to analyze the main causes of mortality among women of childbearing age in a municipality in the interior of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, making a comparison with a previous study carried out by the
authors. The data shows that 197 deaths were recorded, with a higher prevalence in the 40-49 age group. The main causes of death were neoplasms, circulatory diseases, infectious diseases and external causes. This suggests the need for health promotion, early diagnosis and appropriate treatment of diseases to prevent early mortality, highlighting the importance of public health policies
The Influence of Land Degradation Processes and the Evolution of the Soil Profile in the Area of Izvorul Muntelui Lake
Irrational, intensive grazing and overgrazing have determined the degradation of the soil through erosion and compaction, but also the quality decrease of the pastures. The construction of roads and especially forest, county and local roads has led to slope cuts and deforestation, influencing the dynamics of the slope through the occurrence of landslides, runoff and torrentiality, as well as changes in the river bed manifested by the reduction of linear erosion, the intensification of transport and increasing material amounts of accumulation (Demeter, 2006).
The modification of the landscape and by the degradation of the slopes is also influenced by the appearance of paths created by humans or animals, of cart roads causing or favouring the phenomena of trickling, torrentiality or muddy flows (Buloiu, Ionescu, 1986).
Important changes were also brought by the construction of the DN15 national road, both on the relief and on the vegetation and soils. Massive clearings of beech forests mixed with conifers were made and excavations were made in slopes, embankments, embankments and excavations. The use of the land in the area of the Izvorul Muntelui Lake is dominated by forestry activities due to the large share of over 80% of the total surface, either coniferous, deciduous or mixed forests. Along the Bistricioara River valley and the immediate vicinity of the lake, there are larger areas occupied by pastures and complex crops and agricultural land mixed with natural vegetation.

The research focuses on the adaptation of greenhouses for farming, emphasising its positive feedback as a feasible and sustainable option for year-round crop cultivation. The research involves a system that utilises sensors connected to a microcontroller to monitor greenhouse conditions. The sensors measure temperature, humidity, soil moisture, light intensity, and water levels. The system is powered by AC to DC supply, with additional features like a fan to cool the environment and a bulb responding to natural light intensity. The collected data is sent to a webpage for remote monitoring through the Serial Peripheral Interface Flash File System (SPIFFS). The study encompasses two main aspects: sensing and regulation, and transmitting real-time data for remote monitoring

The Importance of Retrosynthesis in Organic Synthesis
The process of designing- an-effective synthesis plan for a target molecule remains a signifi1cant challenge in organic synthesis. Synthesis planning involves determining the steps to synthesize a desired molecule. Retrosynthesis, developed by Elias James Corey and recognized with a Nobel Prize in 1990, is a systematic approach that involves working backwards from- the target-molecule to identify the -starting materials-. Retrosynthetic analysis is a-- valuable technique but requires a comprehensive understanding of chemical substances, compound classes, reactions, and reaction conditions. This understanding enables chemists to effectively plan and analyze the synthesis of the target molecule. Through analyzing the target molecule and identifying possible disconnections, chemists can think creatively and devise innovative solutions for complex synthetic problems. This article serves as an introduction to retrosynthesis, highlighting its importance and fundamental theoretical concepts (strategies) that can be combined to plan the synthesis of organic compounds
Consequences of a Rotating Universe for the Standard Cosmological Model
Dark Energy from the void makes our Universe rotate. The centrifugal force due to the rotation flings galaxies in the outward direction which leads to the experimentally observed accelerated expansion of our Universe. We provide further experimental proof that out Universe is rotating which keeps it from being isotropic and homogeneous, a necessary and sufficient condition for the Cosmological Principle and the introduction of the scale factor a(t), a distance function only of time, while in fact distances measured must be functions of both time and space. This erroneous assumption invalidates all equations within theCosmological Principle that contain a(t) and its derivatives. We point out some of these erroneous equations of the Cosmological Principle which is based on a non-rotating Universe since a Universe that is not rotating violates the Conservation of Angular Momentum Principle. Subatomic particles, atomic nuclei, planets, stars, galaxies, that are all rotating get their rotation from the Angular Momentum of the Universe
An Alternative for Time Series Models
Two methods for construction of new stochastic processes with discrete time are presented. One of the methods employs as the defining tool �triangular (more specifically �pseudoaffine�) transformations� which are extended from the Euclidean Rnto infinite dimension space. They transform any well-known discrete time stochastic process into the constructed one. The other, more flexible, method is the �method of parameter dependence�, extended to infinite dimension. Properties of the obtained stochastic processes (by either method) indicate the possibility to apply them for financial analysis, as an alternative for the classical time series models. The advantage of the presented models over the existing ones first of all relies on expected better accuracy. This follows from the fact that the typically held assumption on Markovianity in the existing models can easily be relaxed. The defined processes may incorporate a quite long memory including, among others, the k-Markovian cases for k ? 2. Regardless the non-Markovianity of the models they still are tractable in an analytical or numerical way.
The stochastic processes defined in this paper provide more flexible and more general tools than the existing time series models for modeling financial problems. Among others, they make it possible to incorporate the influence of environmental (explanatory) random variables on the underlying stochastic models� behavior. These additional features turn out to be describable by the method of parameter dependence. Some suggestions for an associated preliminary statistical analysis are included
An Investigation into the Order of Integral Powers of Consecutive Elements of Set of Even and odd Numbers
This article analysed the order of difference of integral perfect powers of the set of even and odd numbers. The analysis was proof by the use of combinatorial terminologies, established property of the difference operator and the principle of mathematical induction. The results proved conclusively that �if any number of consecutive odd or even integers are raised to a positive power k, then the kth difference is equal to 2kk
