Poverty Reduction in Africa: A Continental Industrial Policy that Enhances Productive Capability and Creates Permanent Employment to Increase Disposable Income that Fosters Effective Demand in Africa’s Economy
The objective of achieving effective demand for the minimization of poverty in Africa is revealed by economic, governance and survey data collected by The Heritage Foundation�sIndex of Economic Freedom, BTI Transformation Index Report, Transparency International�s-Corruption Perception Index, Fund for Peace�sFragile State Index, The World Bank Data, The End of Poverty (Sachs, 2005), and Poor Economics(Banerjee et. al., 2011). These nongovernmental entities� reports, and scholarly books explainAfrica�s poverty and what makes it perpetual andsuggest ideas for minimizing it. This data is used to measure correlation among indicators of rule of law, public corruption, quality of governance, and fragility of states, and to determine trends toward policy enactment while documenting the current level of Africa�s poverty. In addition, this statistical analysis allows the study to show strengths or weaknesses of the international community�s poverty reduction method and the need for its transformation. The lack of substantial reduction in poverty on the continent makes it essential for African governments to automate and industrialize their economies, particularly their agricultural sectors where a majority of Africans work. The data gathered was also used to create charts, graphs, and tables to assist readers to better understand the economic development policy and agricultural industrialization strategy discussed in the study
Analysis of ESG Criteria and Sectoral Study of Sustainable Development in Greece (The MAST Project)
This study investigates the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) disclosure practices, employing content analysis to evaluate ESG reports. Data were collected from companies listed on the Athens Stock Exchange, and the analysis revealed significant inconsistencies in ESG reporting due to the absence of a standardised ESG taxonomy. Some firms adopt quantitative criteria, while others rely on qualitative approaches, complicating comparisons. Using both qualitative and quantitative content analysis, this research identified the need for a unified ESG framework to enhance transparency, investor trust, and regulatory compliance. The findings suggest that annual ESG reporting is essential for improving corporate transparency and accountability, particularly in emerging markets like Greece. The study contributes to institutional theory by emphasising the transitional phase of ESG institutionalisation, while stakeholder theory highlights the importance of transparent ESG reporting for fostering stakeholder trust. The discussion suggests that regulatory frameworks and stakeholder pressures are crucial in promoting consistent and transparent ESG disclosures. This research underscores the need for harmonised reporting practices to support corporate legitimacy and long-term sustainability
Feelings in the Context of Predictive Coding – Some Affective Psychology Reflections on the Human Form of Being
Feelings play an increasingly important role in psychoanalysis and neuroscience. Following some general reflections, we introduce the concept of predictive coding or anticipatory simulation. Within this framework, feelings are constructed judgements on inner simulative states. Both feelings and language have the task of investing inner states with meaning and rendering this meaning communicable. Feelings are conscious; they constitute the first form of phenomenal consciousness. This scientific approach can easily be formulated as part of the Lacanian metapsychology. We will show, that the linking of both perspectives enables a gain of knowledge. Thus, for instance, the Marko blanket can be understood as a function of the Real, and the theory of predictive coding sheds light on the characteristics of the Imaginary. Phenomena such as transference, countertransference or projective identification can also be better elaborated against this interdisciplinary backdrop

Blockchain-based Secure Data Sharing Framework for Healthcare Industry: A Case Study of U.S. Healthcare
This paper focuses on proposing and assessing a blockchain application solution to deal with the security and privacy issues in the US healthcare system. This study uses an exploratory qualitative case study research design to examine a) the presence of blockchain technology in the management of health informatics data and b) its effects. The proposed structure is to improve the protection of information, to protect it from unauthorized access, as well as to comply with patients� records� authenticity due to decentralised bases and cryptocurrencies technologies. Furthermore, it solves the problem of incompatible systems by providing for the systemization of data sharing to various EHRs.
�These is an affirmation that blockchain framework provides a more secure platform since it reduces the risks of data loss, intend, and deliberate forgery by enhancing privacy. Cryptographic hashing and smart contracts have the ability to protect important data from being shared while at the same time being in line with privacy laws. In addition, the use of the framework increases compatibility because data is shared from one platform to another; hence improving communication between different EHR systems. In a way, this study has highlighted the capacity of blockchain for modern healthcare data management, which is quite beneficial to resolve current problems. Nonetheless, more studies should be conducted on the workability and compatibility of blockchain over a long term and alongside other upcoming technologies. These findings are useful for the future research of the blockchain as the tool that optimizes the healthcare sphere and makes it more protected
Optimization of Results in Necks with Obtuse Angles: Diagnosis and Treatment of Deep Planes
Over time, neck lifting has undergone a notable evolution. Initially, techniques focused on treating the skin and subcutaneous cellular tissue (SCT), resulting in excessive tension on these structures, producing suboptimal results and unaesthetic scars.
Over time, techniques involving plication of the platysma muscle (PM) in its lateral and medial regions were introduced, aiming to reposition deep structures through compression and tension.
However, these approaches had limitations as the results tended to deteriorate quickly due to the stretching of the platysma fascicles.
Today, a more advanced approach has been adopted in neck treatment, shifting from focusing on tension on the platysma to reducing deep structures. The deep neck lifting technique addresses the reduction of superficial and deep fat compartments, as well as the digastric muscles and the submandibular gland, avoiding excessive tension on the PM sutures. This methodology allows for more stable and long-lasting results over time
Pulsar: Metric Generalization of Time-Space of Celestial and Quantum Mechanics
In the article, from the unified positions of the theory of relativity, physical processes are generalized that occur synchronously in the space of inertial coordinate systems in the entire range of possible movements - from the observed movements of celestial bodies to intra-atomic interactions of electromagnetic fields and quantum particles. Atomic objects manifest and fixed by direct detection of elastic wave interactions on a pulsar time scale in their natural states, excluding particle collisions. In the inertial frame, the body moves according to the Kepler-Newton laws (inertiality in the usual mechanical sense). During the passage of the wave front, the electromagnetic field of the pulsar, interacting with the electromagnetic field of microparticles, fixes their discrete mechanical states on its scale with an accuracy of up to a quantum of time allowed by the pulsar scale. The discrete mechanical states of microparticles measured on the pulsar scale are multiples of the constant value ?T = 5.551115123125780E-17s, they are repeated in any inertial coordinate system. Their number is finite, regardless of the duration of the measurements
Effects of Genre-Based Instructional Material on Students’ Reading Proficiency
Genre-Based Instructional Material (GB-IM) is an intervention material that uses the Genre-Based Approach (GBA) to improve the reading proficiency of Grade 7 students for School Year 2022-2023. It follows the four stages of the GBA Model which are: Building Knowledge of the Field (BKOF), Modeling of the Text (MOT), Joint Construction of the Text (JCOT), and Independent Construction of the Text (ICOT), and the design of Research and Development (R&D) by Gall and Borg. This study investigated the effects of Genre-Based Instructional Material (GB-IM) on the students’ reading proficiency. Specifically, it sought to determine the level of the teachers’ and students’ evaluation on the GB-IM, identify the reading proficiency level of the GB-IM and non-GB-IM groups in the pretest and post-test, ascertain if there is a significant difference in the evaluation of the teachers and students on the GB-IM, and assess if there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores in the GB-IM and non-GB-IM groups. Results revealed that teachers and students had higher mean scores on the GB-IM evaluation. Moreover, the students’ proficiency level has a significant difference between the GB-SIM and Non-GB-SIM groups in their mean scores in the post-test results. Though both groups improved their scores, the GB-SIM group scored higher compared to the Non-GB-SIM group.
Quantifying Ruin Metrics in a Diffusion-Driven Erlang (2) Risk Model with Dependency Modeled using the Spearman Copula
This paper focuses on the perturbation of an Erlang (2) risk model by a diffusion process, challenging the assumption of independence between claim amounts and interclaim durations. To account for a tail dependency structure, we introduce the Spearman copula, enabling the evaluation of Gerber-Shiu functions and ruin probabilities associated with this model. Our analysis delves into the Laplace transforms of the discounted penalty function and the probability of ruin. Towards the conclusion, explicit expressions are derived, accompanied by numerical examples illustrating ruin probabilities for individual claim sizes with exponential distribution
