Towards an Epistemology of Structural Theory
This article summarizes, partly as a glossary and partly as a compilation, the main concepts involved in the theory of architectural structures. It contains a holistic arrangement of the theoretical foundations of the main components of materials mechanics and, above all, their interaction with architecture, in the exercise of the so-called structural calculation. In thematic literature, it is not easy to find all this information gathered in simple, plain language. Hence the importance of reviewing, in a relatively simple and quick reading, the principles that lead to the epistemology of structural theory.
Study of the Eigenmodes of Anoptical Waveguide with a Refractive Index that Varies in the Radial Direction from the Central Axis
Using finite element analysis, the eigenmodes of the optical waveguide whose refractive index vary in the radial direction was obtained. To perform efficient calculations, the cross section of the waveguide was divided into a mesh structure of triangular element. The eigenmatrix equations that describe the characteristics of eigenmode were composed of the edges and nodes of triangular elements. The eigenmodes were established with transverse electric field, and electric potential. These were represented schematically as 2-Dim electric field, 3-Dim electric potential and 2-Dim electric equipotential contour. These representations were arranged sequentially from the lower order eigenmodes. And the unusual ones were randomly organized regardless of ordering index to reveal their characteristics more clearly. From these results, it was found that the refractive index distribution adopted in this study sufficiently performed the function of focusing electromagnetic waves in the central region
Digital Identity in the Age of Cybersecurity: Challenges and Solutions
Digital identity encompasses a mix of personal traits, data, and activities online. It\u27s not just basic info like name and age but also includes all the stuff you do and leave behind online. Think of it like your online fingerprint. Just like how we have layers to our real-world identity, our digital one is just as layered(Clooney et al., 1995). It\u27s not just about who we are but also about how we\u27re seen and understood by others online. Films like Jia\u27s explore this idea, showing how our online identities can be shaped, portrayed, and even disrupted through storytelling(MENKUS et al., 2018). So, basically, digital identity is this complex thing that both mirrors and shapes how we see ourselves and others in the online world
Security through Elliptic Curves for Wireless Network in Mobile Devices
The basic principle is A function is easy to evaluate but its invert is infeasible unless a secret key is known.
It is mathematically proved that security of cryptographic does not imply its implementation security of system against Side-channel Attacks. The security of system lies in the difficulty of extracting k from P and Q. It is essential to secure the implementation of cryptosystems in embedded devices against side-channel attacks. These attacks monitor the power consumption or the Electromagnetic emanations of a device Ex smart cards or mobile devices. The attackers goal is to retrieve partial or full information about a long-term key that is employed in several ECSM executions.
We are implementing a secret key avoid to retrieving the valuable information by the attacker through Simple Power Analysis Attacks
Assessing the Impact of Legal Risk on Performance in Nigerian Deposit Money Banks: A SEM Analysisssing the Impact of Legal Risk on Performance in Nigerian Deposit Money Banks: A SEM Analysis
The research examined the influence of legal risk on the performance of selected deposit money banks in Nigeria using (primary) data sourced from bank employees through a well-structured questionnaire. The study used Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), and the hypotheses of the study were tested using Partial Least Square (PLS) technique. The model consisted of four latent variables which are legal risk, environmental risk, institutional risk, and performance. Performance served as the explained variable, legal risk, environment risk, and institutional risk served as the explanatory variables; legal risk is the main explanatory variable, while environmental and institutional risks are the control variables. It was observed that legal risk negatively and significantly influences performance. Similarly, the control variables have a significant effect on performance. Therefore, it is recommended that banks take a precautionary approach in managing legal risk by striving to anticipate and prevent it
Jordan-Centric Cross-Border Tourism Projects with Egypt and Saudi Arabia
This paper focuses on the possibility of cross-border tourism projects between Jordan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia, with a focus on cooperative tourism tactics. The study presents a cross border tourism project model which describes the structure for analyzing and developing cross border tourism strategies. Cultural, historical, natural, and economic conditions are suggested to outline several project options: cultural and historical interactions based on common history, new opportunities in natural and health tourism, and the enhancement of economic cooperation. Thus, it is possible to state that these projects can positively affect the development of the tourism industry, preserve cultural and natural heritage, and contribute to the regional economic development. Thus, the study suggests that Jordan should include the cross-border tourism into its national plans and strategies, engage in diplomacy, create task forces, and obtain international funding and technical cooperation
Proximate and Distance Heterosexual Dating Relationships: Differences, Similarities, and Dynamic of Factors that Predict Relational Success
A data set of 1286 heterosexual dating individuals, grouped into 643 couples (406 couples in a Proximate relationship; 237 couples in a Distance relationship), were employed to explore Proximate/Distance similarities and differences in the dynamic of factors that predict relational satisfaction between couples. The primary dependent variable, couple relational satisfaction, was measured with eight items from the GWS and three items from the KMS. Primary predictor variables included eight composite variables (relationship satisfaction, emotional engagement, emotional regulation, family & friend support, shared activities, accuracy of perception, positive illusions, identity, and compatibility). A number of individual variables were also employed, including loneliness, separation, permanence, enjoyment of sex, nurturance, disclosure, emotional stability, co-dependence, and others. A crisscross technique (rate self and partner across all variables) facilitated many comparative procedures. Correlations, t-tests, regressions, and structural equation modeling contributed toward the final picture. Results indicate that (a) Distance couples boast a healthier overall personal and couple profile; (b) accuracy of perception plays a much larger role for Distance couples than for Proximate; (c) nurturance follows a similar pattern with a greater impact for Distance couples; (d) family & friend support plays a larger role in Proximate relationships; (e) emotional regulation plays a larger role for Proximate couples; (f) enjoyment of sex is a significant predictor for Proximate couples but not for Distance; and (g) loneliness, highly characteristic of Distance relationships, does not have a negative impact on relational success for Distance couples but significantly diminishes relational satisfaction for Proximate couples. Findings are discussed and avenues for future research explored

Social Integration and Development of Boy Child in Kenya
Over the years, so much emphasis has been placed on raising girls to higher levels that society has forgotten about the boy child. At the time, society in Africa and particularly in Kenya was content with the boy child\u27s position and unconsciously focused on the girl child to the alienation of the boy. The callous disregard for boys has caused a decline in their development and performance and caused an identity crisis. Consequently, a significant majority of the African boychild have grown into dysfunctional adults. The main objective of this research was to evaluate the role of social integration on the development of boy child in Kenya. The study used an explanatory research design. The target population unit of analysis was all the 3,500,000 students, 113,200 teachers, 10,463 principals, 3,400,000 parents, 14 heads of mental health hospitals, 129 heads of prisons, and 47 county education officers respectively in Kenya. Stratified-Systematic sampling and purposive sampling were used to identify a sample size of 1,682 respondents selected using the Krejcie and Morgan Table formula. The findings revealed a statistically significant positive moderate correlations between responsibilities (r= 0.11, p<0.05), relationships (r=0.12, p<0.05), and mentorship (r=0.33, p<0.01) with boy child development suggest that these factors not only independently contribute to development but also interact synergistically to establish a robust framework for social integration. The findings from this study offer valuable insights for policymakers and implementers in addressing critical gender disparities and enhancing the development and performance of boys. This has broader implications for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Africa Vision 2050, and Kenya Vision 2030.
