Structural characterization of the lipid exchange between lipidic cubic phase nanoparticles and lipid monolayers using neutron reflectometry
This study shows the interactions of (PT)-based cubosomes with a single leaflet of bilayer membrane represented by the phospholipid monolayer at the air–water interface. The lipid exchange taking place at the air–water interface between PT-based cubosomes and the model DPPC and DMPS phospholipid membranes was shown using neutron reflectometry combined with Langmuir experiments and Brewster angle microscopy imagining. The dataset contains files (text, csv and tiff files) showing the experimental results included in the publication. Please consult the readme.txt file for additional information and a more detailed description of each csv and tiff file.</p
Excited molecular states - exploration with localized orbital locator function (LOL)
This dataset contains raw data for the manuscript "Exploration of excited molecular states with localized orbital locator function".Ground and excited electronic states were studied for selected molecules by means of Localized Orbital Locator function, obtained from 1-electron electronic densities with the use of the Multiwfn program. Modifications of the electronic structure upon excitations were checked against the alternative description through pairs of hole-particle natural transition orbitals, obtained from transition densitities from the ground to excited states, with the use of the Theodore program. The data contain Gaussian inputs and outputs from the TD-DFT calculations and further data, resulting from the analysis of density matrices and transition density matrices. Please consult the README.md file for additional information (including the structure of the dataset and software recommended for opening files).</p
Adding colour to ion-selective membranes
Dataset contains fluorescence and absorbance spectra, fluorescence intensity timetraces and potentiometry results for ion-selective membranes containing Nile Blue(NB) cation released in respone to primary ion trigger. Nile Blue comes from a custom ion-exchanger: Nile Blue tetrakis[3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]borateThe paper reports on a novel ion-exchanger salt that can be used to monitor conditioning of the membrane. The response of non-conditioned membrane can also be used as a source of analytical signal. The release of NB cation from potassium or calcium selective membranes is monitored by observing the fluorescence and absorbance spectra of the analyte solutions or the membranes. The selecvitity of potassium/calcium selective membrane towards NB and NaCl against primary ions is also observed in potentiometry experiments. We demonstrate that the speed of release of the NB+ depends on concentration of the analyte, the membrane is more selective towards NB+ than Na+ and the system is utilized to assess potassium content of analytical grade CaCl2 salt.</p
PSGWatch
A set of 43 parallel polysomnography (PSG) and actigraphic recordings from 43 subjects. Recordings were conducted in laboratory setting at Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw as a part of research project aiming to construct new sleep/wake scoring algorithm operating on actigraphic data.PSG was staged by a trained expert according to AASM criteria. Only 37 out of 43 recordings were staged due to noise on some of the relevant channels in the remaining 6 recordings (majority of the channels is good quality and perfectly usable in different research).Actigraphy was collected from both hands using GeneActiv Original devices. Each PSG recording consists of two files: .raw with data from all channels and .xml with metadata describing the recording (so there are 43 pairs of .raw and .xml files). Each PSG staging is contained in .tag file (so there is 37 .tag files). To easily perform I/O operations on both PSG recordings and tags one may use python readmanager module available on PyPI. Alternatively one may use open source application SVAROG by BrainTech to browse the recordings.Actigraphic data are all packaged into actigraphy.zip.Each subject was named according to a template: PsgWatch-XX*, where XX is ID ranging from 1 to 45 (with no 37 and 38 used). All files (whether actigprahic or PSG) follow this convention.File metadata.ods contains information about subjects: handedness, age and sex.</p
Research data for: In situ biological samples deproteinization in microfluidic paper-based analytical devices
This is research data for manuscript entitled 'In situ biological samples deproteinization in microfluidic paper-based analytical devices' currently in revision. This data set contains xlsx files and jpeg files. In xlsx files data from protein determination is presented in various conditions described in each file. Protein concentration is proportional to absorbance measured at 600 nm given in the file. Each file contains at least 3 columns with called 'absorbance @ 600 nm'. These values represent repeated measurements of the same condition. They were averaged before being converted to concentration values. '-' in these columns indicates that no measurement was made for the specified condition. Absorbance was measured using PerkinElmer Lambda 25 UV/VIS spectrophotometer.Jpeg files are photos of paper-based devices for copper(II) determination. To obtain quantitative data from these photos, ImageJ software was used. A circular Region of Interest (ROI) was selected on each sensor and mean channel intensities from RGB color space were measured using RGB Measure function. Intensity of blue channel proved to provide the biggest sensitivity therefore it was used as an analytical signal.Metadata are given in the details of each jpeg file.</p
Transkrypty z indywidualnych wywiadów pogłębionych
Zdeponowany zbiór zanonimizowanych danych zawiera transkrypty 32 indywidualnych wywiadów pogłębionych (IDI, ok. 1 godz.) przeprowadzonych w okresie listopad 2022 r.-marzec 2024 r. z przedstawicielami władz lokalnych (miasta - radni i prezydenci/burmistrzowie) i regionalnych (województwa - radni sejmików i marszałkowie) oraz ekspertami (naukowcy zajmujący się polityką lokalną i regionalną w Polsce) z następujących województw: lubelskie, lubuskie, mazowieckie, podkarpackie i śląskie. Dodatkowo zdeponowane zostały wersje edytowalne (ODT) oraz dodatkowe dane (ODS).Transkrypty zawierają istotną część danych zebranych w ramach projektu "Demokratyzacja i autokratyzacja w wielopoziomowych demokracjach. Studium przypadku Polski", finansowanego z Narodowego Centrum Nauki (OPUS 20).
Khirbet as-Sar (Jordan) – field report on the 2023 excavation season
This dataset relates to the results of excavations by the Faculty of Archaeology (University of Warsaw) during April and May 2023 at Khirbat as-Sar, an archaeological site located in the south-western suburb of Amman, Jordan. The team was headed by Associate Professor Mariusz Burdajewicz, PhD (University of Warsaw), and included Prof. Jolanta Mlynarczyk (University of Warsaw) as co-director.The data presented includes various elements of field documentation: a description of the areas excavated, with preliminary conclusions (Field Report), a set of photographs, GIS data, and a list of finds inventoried and deposited with the Department of Antiquities of Jordan. The following dataset is designed for researchers working on a range of topics related to the archaeology of the Near East, spanning from the Iron Age to Ottoman times. In particular, it may be of interest to scholars interested in the current state of research on the history, culture, and development of settlement on the Belqa plateau, which in antiquity was the territory of the biblical Ammonites, with its capital at Rabbath-Ammon (present-day Amman). Later on, the city, renamed Philadelphia (of the Decapolis), was one of the flourishing centres of Greco-Roman, Byzantine, and eventually Islamic culture. Khirbat as-Sar, as a multi-period site, is highly promising for various research topics. Overall, the dataset provided is already likely to be useful to other researchers before the final publication of the excavations comes out, after the end of the current project (2026).The excavation project at Khirbat as-Sar is funded by the Polish National Science Centre (OPUS 22, UMO-2021/43/B/HS3/00813).Please check back for updates, for the years of the 2024 and 2025 excavation seasons.
