EuroQol- 5 Dimension (EQ-5D)
The EuroQol-5 Dimension (EQ-5D) is an instrument which evaluates the generic quality of life. The EQ-5D consists 2 parts: the EQ-5D descriptive system and the visual analogue scale (VAS). The descriptive system includes five one question for each of the five dimensions that include mobility, self-care, usual activities, pain/discomfort, and anxiety/depression. Each dimension has three levels of severity, being no problems, some problems, and extreme problems. The VAS consists of a 0-100 scale where mothers rate their overall health status, with 0 representing the worst imaginable health state and 100 representing the best imaginable health state
