A dataset containing S&P500 information security breaches and related financial firm performances
In this document, comprehensive datasets are presented to advance research on information security breaches. The datasets include data on disclosed information security breaches affecting S&P500 companies between 2020 and 2023, collected through manual search of the Internet. Overall, the datasets include 504 companies, with detailed information security breach and financial data available for 97 firms that experienced a disclosed information security breach. This document will describe the datasets in detail, explain the data collection procedure and shows the initial versions of the datasets. Contact at Tilburg University Francesco Lelli </a
Breastfeeding
Breastfeeding was assessed through the question: Did the twin get breastfeeding
Fetal growth parameters
Fetal growth was assesses via fetal ultrasounds carried out by sonographics during visits to the research center using standardized ultrasound procedures. Fetal growth measures included crown-rump length, head circumference, abdominal circumference, and femur length. Femur length was used as a proxy for fetal length. Estimated fetal weight was calculated using the Hadlock equation. Fetal growth characteristics were converted into SD scores (SDSs) according to reference growth charts
Infant/Toddler Home Observation for Measurement of the Environment (IT-HOME)
The Infant/Toddler Home Observation for Measurement of the Environment (HOME) is a descriptive profile which yields a systematic assessment of the caring environment in which the child is reared. The primary goal of the instrument is to measure, within a naturalistic context, the quality and quantity of stimulation and support available to a child in the home environment. Its focus is on the experience of the child in the home environment, the child as an active recipient of inputs from objects, events and transactions occurring in connection with the family surroundings
Tanner Scale
The Tanner Scale describes, both pictorially and descriptively, the external changes that occur in the time period between the onset of puberty and the achievement of full maturity for both girls and boys. Characterizations of pubertal status are assessed by breast development in girls, genital development in boys and pubic hair growth in both. The Tanner stages of pubertal development are divided on a 5 item scale. Stage 1 represents no pubertal development and full maturation is represented as stage
Family Situation
Family situation assesses information about the family and living situation, such as divorce or death of (a) parent(s), co-habition and co-parenting
Child satisfaction
Child satisfaction asks parents about what they are most satisfied with about their child
Parental Cognitions and Conduct Toward the Infant Scale (PACOTIS)
The Parental Cognitions and Conduct Toward the Infant Scale (PACOTIS) is a validated assessment of parental perceptions and behavioral tendencies towards a young infant. It includes items on parental self-efficacy (e.g., "I feel that I am very good at calming my baby down"), perceived parental impact (e.g., "My behavior has little effect on the personal development of my baby"), parental hostile-reactive behaviors (e.g., "I have lost my temper when my baby was particularly fussy"), and parental overprotection (e.g., "I prefer that my baby sleeps in the same room as me at night")
Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI)
The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) assesses sleep over the previous months in several formats, including filling in times, as well as scales, rated on a 4-point Likert scale. Items from the instrument can be combined to form 7 components: Subjective sleep quality, Sleep latency, Sleep duration, Habitual sleep efficiency, Sleep disturbances, Use of sleeping medication, and Daytime dysfunction
Noise disturbance
Noise disturbance is a self-developed assessment of (sleep) disturbance experienced from different sources of noise, such as traffic, airplanes, trains, industry, and construction work
