Language Interaction Snapshot, Classroom, K, Early Education in Rural North Carolina, 2018
The Early Education in Rural North Carolina project was one of the 6 research sites in the Early Learning Network, investigating the impact of policy context surrounding a cohort of children as they progressed from prekindergarten through third grade in six rural counties. The North Carolina (NC) team focused on whether policies were aligned in ways to sustain learning across the early grades. This project collected semi-structured interviews, survey data from school and program administrators, observations, and content analysis of policy documents.
This record includes data about language interactions, child verbal, listening, and language skills, and classroom observations in Kindergarten

Data & Code for Lauren E. Clatch, Interrogating Miranda's Custody Requirement, 103 N.C. L. Rev. 69 (2024)
The data and code here accompany the article, Lauren E. Clatch, Interrogating Miranda's Custody Requirement, 103 N.C. L. Rev. 69 (2024).
This repository of files is intended to offer transparency regarding the research methods and data analyses performed. The data from two online survey experiments, which were used for analyses in the article, can be found in the .csv files, and the code used to analyze that data is accessible using the program R and opening the .Rmd file

VEGFR3/LYVE-1/Podoplanin lymphatic endothelial cells form the core of Kaposi Sarcoma; some are KS-herpesvirus-infected, many are not.
The lineage of the Kaposi Sarcoma (KS) tumor cell remains elusive to this day. Without that information, options for targeted therapy are limited. We applied concurrent, spatial imaging of six bona-fide lymphatic endothelial cell (EC) proteins to a well-curated collection of 30 HIV+ KS biopsies at true single-cell resolution (n = . Nodular KS had significantly more circular than elongated nuclei. Both types of KS had high-density clusters of LANA-positive cells: "LANA-nests." VEGFR-3 was the most highly expressed marker overall, although many VEGFR-3-positive cells were LANA negative. Podoplanin and LYVE-1 consistently colocalized with each other. CD31 and VE-Cadherin expression was variable within and across lesions. This data demonstrates multiple microenvironments within each KS lesion: LANA-dense nests, LANA-sparse fascicles, and differentiated lymphatic and blood vessels, where some of the lining cells were also LANA positive. Different targeted drugs would affect these differently. Thus, molecular parameters should be evaluated by within-tumor microenvironment type
Role of religion and religious leaders on adolescent and youth contraceptive use in Burkina Faso, Kenya and Niger
This study provides a cross-cultural qualitative perspective of the influence of religion and religious leaders on adolescent/youth FP decision-making and access to and use of a range of FP methods. Data were collected in two cities from Burkina Faso, Niger, and Kenya. It includes collection of in-depth interviews with religious leaders on their perceptions about adolescent and youth contraceptive use and their ideas on how to engage them in adolescent/youth FP programming. In-depth interviews are also included from adolescent and youth contraceptive users and in one country, Burkina Faso, we also included focus group discussions with adolescent contraceptive users
