Results Of Selection Research On Developing New, HighYielding Varieties And Lines Of Bread Wheat Adapted To Climate Changes For Rainfed Lands
As a result of global climate change, Uzbekistan is observing an increase in air temperature, a decrease in precipitation levels, uneven distribution of rainfall during the plant vegetation period, and a reduction in the number of snowy days in winter. On rainfed lands, a significant difference in the heading phase was observed among wheat variety samples, new varieties, and lines. Although early heading in the studied varieties indicates early maturity, it was found that this leads to lower yields compared to latematuring varieties. However, some early-heading varieties were observed to have high grain yields. New varieties of Bread Wheat, such as KSI-96/2024/Sp-1/447/2021 (Tagob), KSI-97/2024/Sp-1/834/2021 (Zartepa), and the line Sp-1/382/2021 (earlyripe), were found to have higher grain yields compared to the early-ripening standard variety, despite heading earlier than this variety. Assessment Of The Biological Efficiency Of The Microbiological Preparation Cropguard (Ipl Biologicals Limited, India) Against Thrips On Cotton Under The Conditions Of Syrdarya Region, Republic Of Uzbekistan
The article presents the results of field experiments conducted in 2025 in the Syrdarya region, aimed at evaluating the biological efficiency of the microbiological preparation CropGuard (IPL Biologicals Limited, India), containing entomopathogenic fungi Beauveria bassiana and Verticillium lecanii, against thrips (Thripidae) on cotton. As a reference standard, the biopreparation BioSleep BW based on the entomopathogenic fungus Beauveria bassiana (strain OPB-43) was used. The experiments accounted for the abundance of two thrips species: onion thrips (Thrips tabaci Lind.) and wheat thrips (Thrips angusticeps Uzel). The results showed that at an application rate of 3.0 L/ha, CropGuard reduced thrips density by 87.4%, which is comparable to the reference (84.1%). At a rate of 2.5 L/ha, the efficiency was 82.6%. Entomofauna Of Plants Of The Genus Cerasus (Prunus) And Their Role In The Agroecosystem
This article examines the composition, proportion, and ecological interactions of harmful insects and their natural enemies – entomophages – occurring in the cherry (Cerasus spp.) agrobiocenosis of the Fergana Valley during 2020–2025. The study identified 21 species of harmful entomofauna and 48 species of beneficial entomophages. The analysis showed that among pests, the orders Coleoptera (38.1%) and Lepidoptera (19.0%) are dominant, while among entomophages, the greatest proportion belongs to representatives of Diptera and Arachnida (27.1% each). These groups play a crucial role in maintaining the biological balance of the agroecosystem

The article analyzes the policy of the centre of the further strengthening mono cultural clap in Uzbekistan that in undertaken measures on building of large irrigation canals and pumping stations in the Republic on the basis of archival sources and historical materials in 1950-1990.
