Pneumonia in children is one of the most common, serious, potentially life-threatening diseases. The criteria for the diagnosis and treatment of pneumonia have been developed a long time ago and are clearly formulated. However, one has to deal with underdiagnosis and irrational therapy, which is observed more often at the outpatient stage. A comparative analysis of recommendations published recently in a number of countries on the diagnosis and treatment of pneumonia in children was carried out. Correlation Relationship of Interferons, Cytokines with Biochemical Mediators of Inflammation in The Blood in The Association of Covid-19 and Type 2 Diabetes
The study included 103 patients hospitalized for SARS-CoV-2 pneumonia at the Bukhara Regional Infectious Diseases Hospital, which was reorganized into the Covid Center. Immunological studies of the blood of sick children were carried out in the laboratory of immunomorphology of the Institute of Human Immunology and Genomics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The indicators of interferon (INF-a, IFN-γ), cytokines (IL4, IL18) and biochemical tests in the blood were studied. In patients with SARS-CoV-2 pneumonia and type 2 diabetes, total bilirubin has a high relationship with the diabetogenic cytokine IL-18 - r = 0.42, against the background of a noticeable negative relationship with IL-4 (r = -0.30) and INF γ -r=-0.34. At the same time, the free fraction of bilirubin, like total bilirubin, has noticeable negative connections with IL-4 (r = -0.22) and IFN-γ r = -0.34, and has a significant positive connection with IL-18 - r = 0.3
The Role of Collagen in The Mechanisms of Chronic Wound Healing for Diabetic Foot Syndrome
The review of the world literature, is devoted to the role of collagen in the process of wound healing. The problems of epidemiology of chronic wounds and ulcers of various genesis, physiology and pathophysiology of wound healing phases are considered. The pathogenetic role of different types of collagen, as well as the mechanisms of collagen, macrophage, fibroblasts, matrix metalloproteinases and other cytokines in healing ulcers are discussed. The prospects of development and use of medical products and preparations based on collagen in the treatment of patients with chronic wounds and ulcers are shown. Matrix metalloproteinase 9 is a proteolytic enzyme which is recently one of the more often studied biomarkers. Its possible use as a biomarker of neuronal damage in stroke, heart diseases, tumors, multiple sclerosis, and epilepsy is being widely indicated. In epilepsy, MMP-9 is suggested to play a role in epileptic focus formation and in the stimulation ofseizures. The increase of MMP- 9 activity in the epileptic focus was observed both in animal models and in clinical studies. MMP-9 contributes to formation of epileptic focus,for example, by remodeling ofsynapses. Its proteolytic action on the elements of blood-brain barrier and activation of chemotactic processes facilitates accumulation of inflammatory cells and induces seizures.
