Applying Brown’s double exponential smoothing technique to forecast HIV prevalence among people aged 15-49 years in Belize
This study uses annual time series data on HIV prevalence among people aged 15-49 years for Belize from 1990 to 2020 to predict future trends of HIV prevalence over the period 2021 to 2030. The study utilizes double (Brown) exponential smoothing model. The optimal value of the smoothing constant α is 0.7 based on minimum MSE. The results of the study indicate that annual HIV prevalence among individuals aged 15- 49 years will continue to decline over the out of sample period. Therefore, we encourage policy-makers to strengthen HIV case detection, behavioral change interventions and other HIV prevention measures especially among key population
Treatment of all types of candidiasis stomatitis in children and adults
Candidiasis stomatitis, commonly referred to as oral thrush, is a fungal infection caused by the overgrowth of Candida species, particularly Candida albicans. This condition affects both children and adults, with varying clinical presentations and therapeutic challenges. Effective treatment involves antifungal medications, lifestyle modifications, and addressing underlying causes. This article presents a comprehensive review of the types of candidiasis stomatitis, treatment strategies, and outcomes in pediatric and adult populations
BIOLOGICAL EFFICIENCY OF DUPLET TT 22.5% EM.C. PREPARATION AGAINST THE MAIN DISEASES OF JUNIPER
In the article, Duplet TT 22.5% em.k drug was used in juniper against phomopsis, rust, diplodiosis, microterium diseases at a consumption rate of 0.5 l/ha. The biological efficiency of the drug against diseases was phomopsis 82.2%, rust 85.7%, diplodiosis 84.9%, microtherium 85.1%, and other data were given
Prevention Of Infection In Surgery
This article presents the potential use of precautionary measures and good hygiene as the basis for protection against infection. In infection prevention courses at tertiary health care institutions. Additional precautions include wearing masks, gloves and aprons, especially where contact transmission is possible. These simple but important principles will help protect your health and the health of those around you from various disease
Optimization Of Tympanoplasty In Children: Surgical Approaches, Materials, And Prevention Of Complications
This article examines ways to improve the effectiveness of tympanoplasty in children. An analysis of existing surgical methods and an evaluation of factors influencing the success of operations in pediatric patients have been conducted. The primary focus is on selecting optimal materials for tympanic membrane reconstruction and minimizing postoperative complications. The study also offers recommendations for postoperative care aimed at enhancing surgical outcomes and hearing restoration. The research is based on a retrospective analysis of clinical data from patients who underwent tympanoplasty, with the goal of identifying key factors affecting surgical outcomes
Study Of Indirect Fibromarkers inIdentifying theDegree ofLiver Fibrosis During Antiviral Therapy Of Patients With Hepatitis HCV Etiology
This work examined the diagnostic role of biomarkers -APRI, alpha-fetoprotein–AFP and gammaglutamine transpeptidase–GGTP before and after antiviral therapy in patients with different degrees of liver fibrosis. At the same time, there was a decrease in these indicators after treatment, which indicates a reverse development of liver fibrosis after specific therapy.During therapy, a significant decrease in APRI from 0.67 to 0.33 (p<0.05), AFP from 4.82 to 1.77 (p<0.01) and GGTP from 42.4 to 26.8 was established (p<0.05). Thus, APRI, AFP and GGTP indicators can be used as dynamic markers for assessing the antifibroticeffect of etiotropic therapy for hepatitis
Clinical and laboratory justification for the use of dental implantation in patients with hypertension
Dental prosthetics on artificial implant supports most effectively provides the patient with chewing function, anatomical and physiological structure close to the norm, and, consequently, professional and social status necessary for confidence in society. However, the achieved successes in dental implantation do not solve the issues of reducing complications after implant treatment and increasing the terms of use of implants. Great difficulties in the success of the implantation process are associated with background and somatic diseases
Evaluation of the corrective effect of modified laparoscopic longitudinal gastric resection practice on existing metabolic changes in morbidly obese patients
To study the corrective effect of laparoscopic longitudinal gastric resection (LLGR) on obesityrelated metabolic disorders in morbidly obese patients. This scientific work is based on the results of a comprehensive examination and treatment of 187 patients treated for morbid obesity in our clinical bases from 2021 to 2023. Analysis of comorbidities in the compared groups showed that 64% of the comparison groups had metabolic disorders. The majority of these patients were patients with 3rd degree of obesity. Positive changes in lipidogram analysis were observed in patients after LOBR procedure. Also, when hemostasis indicators were studied, convincing positive changes were observed in the 1st and 3rd stages of coagulation hemostasis. In patients with chronic obesity, our recommended modification of LOBR increased cardio esophageal and gastric stapler line strength, eliminating the 2.2% stapler line failure observed in our control group in our main cohort. It also led to a reduction in gastroesophageal reflux disease symptoms from 14% to 6.1%. In conclusion, these pathological changes are closely related to obesity, and the elimination of obesity led to the elimination of these metabolic disturbance

Experimental Model Of Renal Alcoholism And Their Correction Methods
Chronic ethanol intoxication leads to a noticeable increase in the morphometric parameters of parts of the nephron of the kidneys. At 12 months of age during the experiment, the greatest increase in the diameter of the glomerulus (19.8%), the thickness of the Shumlyansky-Bowman capsule (29.1%) and the collecting ducts (25.9%) occurs. The use of polaren syrup slightly reduces the dilated lumen of the tubules, selectively affecting the morphometric parameters of the glomerulus and nephron capsul
