L’articolo segue la genesi della poesia dalla prima stesura fino all’edizione tra le Nuove poesie di Ed è subito sera, passando per la pubblicazione nel fascicolo del 15 giugno 1939 della rivista «Corrente». L’ambivalenza tra la tentazione della fuga e l’attaccamento alla propria dimora vitale domina un testo visionario che traduce nella misura della confessione e di una insolita rottura metrica le insorgenze dei fantasmi di un’interiorità turbata da desideri contrastanti.Some of the crucial themes of Salvatore Quasimodo’s poetic production, such as the Island, Exile, Myth, Travel, and Nature at its primeval stage, re appear as the main lines of the Sicilian writer’s research in L’alto veliero, a poem written for Maria Cumani included in a letter to her beloved dated 2 March 1939. The paper follows the genesis of the poem from the first draft to the edition among the Nuove poesie of Ed è subito sera, passing through its publication in the 15 June 1939 issue of the magazine «Corrente». Get PDFQuasimodo scriveva che «la guerra ha sorpreso un linguaggio poetico che maturava una partecipazione con gli oggetti della terra per raggiungere l’universale». Con queste parole Quasimodo ripercorreva a posteriori la propria storia e quella della sua poesia, mettendo a fuoco quel momento di transizione, in cui si concretizzava il distacco polemico dalle poetiche dell’anteguerra giunte a ‘maturità’ e ormai tendenti alla ‘decadenza’. Questa fase si colloca nel periodo che va dalle Poesie del 1938 (Edizioni Primi piani, Milano) all’inizio ufficiale della nuova stagione sancito dalla plaquette di Con il piede straniero sopra il cuore (I Quaderni di “Costume”, Milano 1946). Nel corso del contributo avanzerò qualche riflessione su questo passaggio del per corso poetico quasimodiano valorizzando le esperienze che più lo hanno caratterizzato, a partire dall’incontro altamente formativo con la poesia dei classici.Quasimodo wrote that “the war caught by surprise a poetic language that was maturing a connection with the objects of the earth to reach the universal.” With these words, the poet retrospectively reflected on his own history and that of his poetry, highlight ing a moment of transition in which a polemical departure from pre-war poetics – then fully ‘mature’ and already tending towards ‘decadence’ – was taking shape. This transitional phase spans the period from Poesie (Edizioni Primi Piani, Milan, 1938) to the beginning of a new era in his poetry, marked by the publication of the plaquette Con il piede straniero sopra il cuore (I Quaderni di “Costume”, Milan, 1946). In this contribution, I will offer some reflections on this crucial stage of Quasimodo’s poetic journey, focusing on the experiences that most defined it, beginning with his profoundly formative encounter with classical poetry, and Virgil’s work in particular

No full textEU law does not create a uniform status for those who seek financial
support to pursue higher education studies in a different Member State: students may
do so in their capacity of EU citizens, or, whether possible, they may rely on their
parents’ rights as EU migrant workers. However, understanding educational benefits
as social advantages to be enjoyed by the students’ parents creates tensions within
free movement law, both on a systemic and on an individual level. Creating an
autonomous status for students exercising their right to free movement not only
would clarify who should bear the costs of financing their studies between the home
and the host State, but would also avoid risks of differential treatment, as occurred in

No full textIl contributo ha ad oggetto l’esame dell’incidenza che può produrre, sulla
libera circolazione delle persone all’interno dell’Unione europea, la proposta di
regolamento volto ad uniformare i diversi aspetti internazionalprivatistici della
materia della filiazione. A tal fine, dovranno innanzitutto essere richiamati il quadro
giuridico vigente e gli ostacoli attualmente presenti rispetto al riconoscimento – ad
ogni fine – del rapporto di filiazione accertato in un altro Stato membro. Verranno
quindi esaminati i passi in avanti ipotizzati dalla proposta di regolamento anche
rispetto agli sviluppi registrati negli ultimi anni nella giurisprudenza della Corte di
giustizia. Al contempo, dovranno essere valutate le reali prospettive di approvazione
della proposta, anche tenendo conto del fatto che la stessa rischia di scontrarsi con le
sensibilità, ancora forti, presenti in materia di filiazione, trattandosi di un ambito in
cui quanto meno alcuni Stati membri sono poco inclini a cedere porzioni della loro
sovranità.This contribution explores the potential impact of the proposed Regulation,
which aims to harmonise EU rules on private international law concerning
parenthood, on the free movement of persons within the European Union. To this
end, the existing legal framework and the obstacles to recognising parenthood between Member States will first be recalled. Afterwards, the proposed Regulation’s
envisaged steps forward will be evaluated against the recent developments in the
Court of Justice case law. Moreover, the proposal’s real prospects of approval will
also have to be assessed, since it will likely face resistance as it touches a sensitive
area such as filiation, in which at least some Member States are reluctant to cede
portions of their sovereignty

Get PDFBetween the 19th and 20th centuries School Exercise Books became important tools for learning (reading and counting). Today Notebooks are considered a significant
source for the History of Education, but they can also be used as tools for Public History
of Education. The essay examines two cases. In the first, teacher Celestina Rossi’s exercise
books (school year 1924-25) – accidentally found – represent the life of a small school in
Emilia Romagna. These Notebooks were transformed into a book, a theatrical drama and
educational walks. The second case, instead, concerns the NPO Quaderni Aperti, founded
by Anna Teresa Ronchi and Thomas Pololi in 2014. The organisation uses the contents of
an archive of about 2500 notebooks coming from 36 countries (Exercise Books Archive /
Archivio dei Quaderni di Scuola), built through a participatory approach to develop different kinds of projects, the most important of which is the Museum of Children’s Notebooks
