A COMPREHENSIVE IMPLEMENTATION OF MBKM PROGRAM: LESSON LEARNED FROM SCIENCE MAJOR DEPARTMENTS AT UNIVERSITAS KRISTEN MARANATHA, INDONESIA
In the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0 plus pandemic COVID-19 as it is today, education in Indonesia has developed drastically by the implementation of MBKM Program. MBKM Program was a freedom of learning in campus environment of Indonesia that made the learning process is more flexible and according to student needs and demands. The learning process at Universitas Kristen Maranatha (UKM) has been developed by having Maranatha Online Learning (MORNING) system combined with MBKM Program. The purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of the implementation of MBKM Program from Science Major Departments at Universitas Kristen Maranatha, Indonesia. A set of questionnaires has been set up to analyze the implementation of MBKM Program in study area. The results showed that majority of lecturers, students and academic workers are interested to participate the MBKM Program. However, there is an opportunity to improve the increase of MBKM campaign activities both from government and internal university. The MBKM program provides challenges and opportunities for the development of innovation, creativity, capacity, personality, and student needs. Through ability requirements, real problems, social interaction, collaboration, self-management, performance demands, targets, and achievements, it is expected that a well-designed and implemented MBKM program, students\u27 hard skills and soft skills will be formed strongly
IMPROVED PERTURB & OBSERVE MPPT METHOD USING PI CONTROLLER FOR PV SYSTEM BASED ON REAL ENVIRONMENTAL AND CLIMATIC CONDITIONS
This paper covers the implementation of one of the most popular MPPT algorithm, Perturb & Observe Algorithm based on Proportional Integral (PI) Control for a typical PV system under real environmental and climatic condition. The environmental parameters were collected from an experimental setup made of Solar Meter and Temperature sensor to record Solar Irradiation and temperature respectively on a 50Watts Solar panel. The Experimental setup was mounted on the Campus of the University of Buea, Cameroon and data collected for one day in November which falls in the dry season at the site. The Real environmental parameters were injected into MATLAB/ Simulink were the system was investigated to show the enhancement of the tracking performance of the MPPT system coupled with PI controller

MATERIAL OPTIMIZATION AND SELECTION FOR THE DESIGN OF SHELL AND TUBE HEAT EXCHANGER
The efficiency of heat exchanger is dependent on the reliability and durability of its materials used at the design phase. The project is aimed at materials optimization and selection for the design of a shell and tube heat exchanger tube in order to mitigate failure mechanism such as erosion wear, fatigue and fouling resulting from fluid particles. Therefore, the need exists for high performance engineering materials and improved surface engineering application to mitigate the potential degradations due to erosion wear, fouling and fatigue. The material selection process was performed using the Cambridge Engineering Selector Edu-pack software Granta with limit and design constraints such as maximum service temperature 300, fracture toughness, elastic limit 120MPa. Materials such as MXT5 Copper composite, molybdenum alloy 363 TZM, molybdenum alloy 362 and tungsten metal (UNS no: R07004) are materials that satisfied the design requirement. The weighed property index method was further used to evaluate candidate materials based on the importance of the material properties. MXT5 Copper (5%) composite materials were finally proposed as the optimum material for the design of shell and tube heat exchanger tube because of its excellent mechanical properties such as high fracture toughness and impact strength, significant increase in thermal conductivity and low cost

DETERMINATION OF MODAL PARAMETERS OF REINFORCED CONCRETE BOX CULVERT RETROFITTED WITH GFRP USING FINITE ELEMENT METHOD
This paper presents a new method for the reinforcement of concrete box culvert, which is the most common type of culvert, by applying a thin layer of glass fiber reinforced polymer composite (GFRP), the fiber glass reinforced polymer composite has a high resistance against corrosion and chemicals. Therefore, effectively eliminate corrosion problems and increase the service life of concrete culvert. In this study, the strengthening method was used (GFRP) using the finite element method. As a result of the reinforcement was made by wrapping a fabric (GFRP) with a thickness of 3 mm in the concrete structure of the culvert, which is 12.6 m long, 3.72 m high, and 3.65 m wide. The differences between typical parameters of concrete culvert and GFRP reinforced culvert were compared. These conditional parameters are period and mode forms. The first five case modes with and without GFRP were examined by a finite element method. A difference of 5% - 8% was observed in the periods of the first five modes.
