Design Steps of Online Leave Management Application System for Academic Institution
An Online web-based employee’s leave management application system integrates various processes and systems to automate and simplify the management of employee data, leave requests, and tracking, as well as the approval of leave. In many organizations, employees are entitled to different types of leave, which are allocated based on institutional policies. However, the manual management and approval of leave requests can be time-critical, time-bound, time-consuming, error-prone, paper-based, and challenging to handle.To address these issues, an automated leave management system is being developed using technologies such as HTML, PHP, and MySQL. The implemented system will successfully fulfil its intended purpose, demonstrating satisfactory functionality and error-free operation. The system enables employees to request leave in a timely manner, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. This automated solution is suitable for both academic staff and the administrative department of an institution, facilitating effective and efficient management of employee leave. It reduces paperwork, streamlines processes, and provides a reliable platform for leave management
Design and Fabrication of Oil Skimmer
Nowadays there are so many imports and export business going on through in the world. In this business the shipping by sea is supposed to be cheapest mode. But with this shipping business there are so many cases of oil spill in the sea. Due to these oil spills, there are so many deaths of marine life and it also contributes in pollution. After an oil spill, it creates a slick that ensures the sunlight and oxygen pass through the water. It affects the life below the water due to lack of oxygen and sunlight. As some of oil are dangerous and poisonous, they are also harmful for humans too.[1] As a solution to these oil spills, there are types of oil skimmers such as belt type, rope type, drum type, disk type, etc. are used. Basically, oil skimmer is a device which helps to separate/ remove oil from water. This allows skimming media in the shape of a belt, disk, drum, etc. to pass through a fluid surface to pick up floating oil and grease with very little water. Analysis of propellershaft using FEM based modelling
This paper deals with modelling and analysis of composite drive shaft by replacing the conventional stainless steel with composite materials. Conventional drive shaft is a two-piece steel drive shaft in order to make it as a single long continuous shaft we are using composite materials. Static, model and buckling analysis on these materials is done by using ANSYS software. A COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW OF WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORKS TO ENHANCE RAILWAY NETWORK OPERATIONS SYSTEMS
For decades, the railway infrastructure has been a pillar of the transportation infrastructure through its connection of towns and enabling the movement of people and freight on a worldwide scale. Railways have revolutionized transit from the earliest steam-powered locomotives to the latest high-speed trains. Today\u27s railways are still developing due to technological improvements, with a focus on improving sustainability, efficiency, and safety. In the railway industry, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) play a crucial role in addressing concerns such as security, safety, and traffic flow. These networks consist of sensors that gather real-time data to monitor current conditions, which accelerates decision-making and facilitates real-time monitoring, increasing efficiency. This review explores the fundamentals of wireless sensor networks i.e., characteristics of some of the most popular wireless communication technologies (Zigbee, Wi-Fi, GSM-R, LTE, Bluetooth, etc.), network topologies (star, mesh, tree, etc.) and the structure of the sensor nodes. Further, this paper also surveys the different types of wireless sensors used to monitor and detect faults in railway infrastructure (trains, tracks, bogies, wagons, and signaling infrastructure) and their applications. This paper outlines the benefits of integrating wireless sensors with railway infrastructures in crucial systems like signaling, traction, train control systems, etc., highlighting their advantages and challenges. HAND GESTURE RECOGNITION USING MACHINE LEARNING
In order to offer new possibilities to interact with machine and to design more natural and more intuitive interactions with computing machines, this research aims at the automatic interpretation of gestures based on computer vision. One such technique can be used for detecting and understanding various human gestures as it would make the human-machine communication effective. This could make the conventional input devices like touchscreens, mouse pad, and keyboards redundant. In this project we will design a hand gesture recognition system which will perform defined task.
