Get PDFDas Thema Religion sowie das Verhalten religiöser Akteure in der Coronakrise scheint auf den ersten Blick entweder nur ein Randthema oder einen tendenziell negativen Faktor zu bezeichnen. Öffentlich weniger diskutiert wird hingegen, dass Religionsgemeinschaften als zivilgesellschaftliche Partner von Regierungen oder der WHO, als Agenturen der karitativen und seelsorgerischen Hilfe sowie als Ressource der Hoffnung und Kontingenzbewältigung für eine erfolgreiche Bewältigung der Pandemie eine Schlüsselrolle spielen. Die Studie untersucht die ambivalente Rolle von religiösen Akteuren in der COVID-19-Pandemie im Rahmen einer theoriegeleiteten empirischen Analyse, präsentiert die wichtigsten Entwicklungen, Lerneffekte und offenen Problemkreise und erstellt auf dieser Basis schließlich politische Handlungsempfehlungen
