SUPER DADA for Dataverse 4+ [Version 2.0]
SUPER DADA is a bash script that adapts XML-DDI metadata files produced by Dataverse in order to make them compliant with the technical requirements of the CESSDA Data Catalogue (CDC).
This version of the script is geared towards versions 4+ of Dataverse.
In its current state, SUPER DADA modifies XML-DDI files produced by a version 4+ Dataverse installation so that the files become fully compliant with the 'BASIC' level of validation (or 'validation gate') of the CESSDA Metadata Validator against the CESSDA Data Catalogue (CDC) DDI 2.5 Profile 1.0.4.
See the README file for technical details and specifications.
Version update: The title of the dataset was changed with the addition of "[Version 2.0]" to indicate that this is a particular version of the script. A new version, the third one, will be published shortly. The word "versions" in reference to Dataverse was removed to avoid ambiguity.
Version update: Original "Related Publication(s)" field was updated with the new title of version 1.0 of the script for Dataverse 4+, and two more "Related Publication(s)" fields were added to reference the new versions of the script for Dataverse 4+ and 5+
Readiness roster for digital preservation at KBR
This readiness roster was created as part of the BESOCIAL research project (https://www.kbr.be/en/projects/besocial/) that aimed to set up a sustainable strategy for archiving and preserving social media in Belgium. One of the tasks in the BESOCIAL research project was to develop a preservation plan for archived social media data. In order to do so, we first needed a better overview of KBR's readiness for digital preservation as an organisation. To this end, we used the Digital Preservation Coalition handbook (available online at: https://www.dpconline.org/handbook/getting-started) and the Assessment Tool Template provided by the National Digital Stewardship Alliance (template available online at: https://osf.io/8ctpu/, more information available online at: https://ndsa.org/publications/levels-of-digital-preservation/). The roster was completed by the BESOCIAL team with input from KBR's ICT team

SUPER DADA for Dataverse 4+ [Version 3.0]
This new version of the script now also ensures that country names in the appropriate metadata field are detected by the CESSDA Data Catalogue, adding them to the "Country" search facet.

Brave Belgians - Media - AV - Other horns
Media documentation (video, audio) for the doctoral dissertation 'Brave Belgians of the Belle Epoque' (Ghent University, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, 2021). Section: horn solo. Documentation Reference Horns (JB 1-5, MDM, YM, BI)
‘Brave Belgians of the Belle Époque’ is an artistic case study that unravels the paradigm of a flourishing legacy of horn playing in Ghent at the end of the nineteenth and the beginning of the twentieth centuries. The rediscovery of this lost legacy was enabled by analysis of a comprehensive time capsule of related archival findings, historical instruments and repertoire. Findings were contextualized from the perspective of a modern-day performer, creating a practice- based framework that reflects musical performance and perception, artistic identity and the education of musicians, past, present and future. The result was comprised in a like-named doctoral dissertation to which these datasets are linked.
This folder contains a dataset of audio and video and a sound bank material linked to reference horns of the 'Brave Belgians of the Belle Époque' dissertation and the likenamed documenting appendix:
