NIRS Database on wet fufu (intermediate) using portable device for DM at NRCRI, Nigeria
No full textFufu, a fermented wet paste food product from cassava is a good source of dietary energy and is one of the widely consumed food in Nigeria and other West African countries. A rapid and accurate method for determining dry matter (DM) content of fufu mash will be valuable for further work to be done on fufu.
This data base contain the spectra of wet fufu mash samples processed from cassava genotypes harvested at NRCRI Umudike Nigeria (between August and September 2020) with the Portable/handheld NIRS (Quality SpecTrek). A total number of 540 spectra were acquired from 60 (sixty) samples of wet fufu mashes. Three different quartz cups were filled with fufu mashes (of about 8-10g) and covered with a white cover material. They were placed against the window of the portable/handheld NIRS device and spectra captured. Calibration model developed for dry matter content (DM) showed the mean and standard deviation to be 45.22 and 6.9 respectively with the standard error of laboratory at 0.79.
A SOP on the protocol for the determination of DM on wet fufu mash using a handheld NIRS has been linked to this database. The ASD hand-held NIRS was acquired by NRCRI (National Root Crops Research Institute) Umudike Nigeria in the year 2016

Mots-clés pour PADI-web mis en place dans l'Océan Indien
No full textAu cours d’un atelier de travail entre le CIRAD et la COI (Commission de l'océan Indien) organisé en octobre 2023 à Ebène (Mauritius) et adossé au projet MOOD, une liste de mots-clés a été produite. Ce lexique est lié à trois maladies à surveiller (Leptospirose, Dengue, Influenza) sélectionnées en collaboration avec Santé Publique France (La Réunion). Cette liste de mots-clés construite au cours de cet atelier de travail entre la COI et le CIRAD et qui sera enrichie et consolidée sera utile pour collecter et indexer les données de PADI-web (instance en Santé Publique) .
Pour concevoir cette liste, 3 experts de la COI ont été mobilisés. Cette liste a été obtenue en réalisant les 3 étapes consécutives ci-dessous :
- Etape 1 : Les trois experts ont identifié individuellement des mots-clés thématiques pour 3 maladies (Leptospirose, Dengue, Influenza) + Veille syndromique pour 4 langues (anglais, français, malgache, créole).
- Etape 2 : Discussion commune et fusion des trois restitutions.
- Etape 3 : Distinction des types de syndromes pour constituer 7 sous-flux de veille syndromique : syndrome grippal, syndrome dengue-like, syndrome mortalité, syndrome neurologique, syndrome hémorragique, syndrome diarrhéique, syndrome cutané. Ces listes ont alors été enrichies avec des mots-clés dédiés aux 7 sous-flux
