Référentiel des domaines, des champs disciplinaires et des spécialités scientifiques du Cirad
Le référentiel scientifique du Cirad est une classification institutionnelle élaborée en 2005 pour caractériser les domaines, les champs disciplinaires et les spécialités des personnels scientifiques du Cirad.
Mis en œuvre dans le système d’information des ressources humaines (SIRH) institutionnel, il permet de dénombrer et de suivre l’évolution des effectifs des scientifiques du Cirad par domaines, champs disciplinaires et spécialités.
Dans le secteur de l’information scientifique et technique (IST), les données des effectifs scientifiques du Cirad par domaines sont utilisées pour identifier la tranche tarifaire d’abonnement du Cirad à des ressources documentaires spécialisées. La classification disciplinaire du Cirad est également utilisée lors d'analyses de publications d’auteurs Cirad.
En 2022, le référentiel a fait l'objet de travaux d'alignement avec des référentiels scientifiques externes : OCDE, ERC, Re3data, Dataverse, Clarivate
Industrial, biochemical and histochemical properties of sorghum stems harvested from 5 trials in France
This dataset contains phenotypic information regarding the industrial properties (anaerobic digestion, combustion, animal digestibility), stem biochemical composition and internode anatomy of 57 genotypes that have been cultivated in 5 sites in France between 2012 and 2014. This dataset has been used to identify sorghum stem ideotypes for 3 different end-uses, namely feed quality, combustion and anaerobic digestion
NIRS Database on fresh blended cassava for DM at IITA, Nigeria
The database for fresh blended cassava roots consists of 130 spectra data collected using the benchtop FOSS Near Infrared Spectrometer (NIRS) with serial number 3013-0857. The spectra comprise 18 cassava genotypes in 2 replications and with triplicate scans. The Spectra data were collected in IITA, Nigeria, in the year 2019/2020.
The fresh roots were washed and dried with a paper towel to remove dirt and cut longitudinally into four sections. The two adjacent sections were pulled and cut to reduce the size, and then the samples were placed in the blended using the Warren Blender until a smooth texture is obtained. The blended mash was transferred quantitatively into the coarse cup of the NIRS for the spectra data collection

Phenotypic data of the CNA6 population from cycle 3 to cycle 7
The CNA6 population, evaluated over five cycles (3 to 7) of selection, including 20 field trials, was used to assess the realized genetic gain. The experimental data used in this study was generated in multisite trials conducted on S0:2 families from five cycles of recurrent selection in the CNA6 population. The following traits were analyzed: grain yield (YLD, kg‧ha−1), days to flowering (FLW, days) and plant height (PHT, cm)

Agroforice dataset: light simulation on oil palm-based intercropping system and phenotypic measurements of rice in response to light reduction and diurnal variation
This dataset contains:
- simulation outputs of a light model performed on various design of oil palm with variations in planting density (inter row and intra row distances). The data are the transmitted light to the ground. Light simulations were performed using the ARCHIMED-PHYS software (https://archimed-platform.github.io/).
- phenological, morphological, physiological, and productive traits including physicochemical traits were measured in phytotrons (Abiophen platform of CIRAD) on eight contrasted rice varieties. The three light treatments were set up in three independent growth chambers, respectively:
• a control treatment (C) following the dynamic of incident light observed in Sumatra (with a ceiling radiation value that can be reached i‧e 1100 µmolphotons m-2 s-1)
• the agroforestry shading regime corresponding to the planting design selected from the simulation study (S-AF)
• a uniform shading treatment (S) with the same amount of incident light as S-AF
This dataset was used for the paper 'Combining modelling and experimental approaches to assess the feasibility of developing rice-oil palm agroforestry system' (https://doi.org/10.1101/2022.12.19.521043). NIRS Calibration Database on boiled yam for texture (hardness) at IITA Nigeria
This database contains 90 spectra data of boiled yam samples acquired using the FOSS XDS Rapid Content Analyzer (3013-0857). It also contains the instrumental texture (hardness) of the boiled yam samples which were used as the laboratory reference values for model development
NIRS Database on fresh blended Yam for good and bad genotypes for pounded yam at IITA, Nigeria
The database of good and bad yam genotypes consists of a total of 200 spectra data collected using the bench top Near Infrared Spectrometer with serial number 3013-0857. The spectra comprise 50 ascensions of Discorea roundata and 50 of Discorea alata that were scanned in duplicate. The Spectra data were collected in IITA, Nigeria in the year 2019/2020. The yam samples were blended using a laboratory Warren Blender and then filled into the coarse cup of the NIRS machine for spectra collection
Hyperspectral calibration database on fresh cassava to predict dry matter content
This database contains 116 NIR average spectra of HSI images of fresh cassava root acquired in CIAT (Colombia), by using hyper spectral camera Specim FX17. Cassava roots were harvested from 07/03/2022 to 11/03/2022 in CIAT (Colombia) and analysed immediately after harverst. Twelve roots were used and each root is divided into six semicylinders . The semicylinders number 03,43,103 and 114 are used for HSI and DM measurements.
