    ASSET Practical Lexicon: An agroecology lexicon in Laos

    The overall objective of the ASSET Project is to transform food and agricultural systems in Southeast Asia more sustainable, safer and inclusive, through harnessing the potential of Agroecology. In this context, a joint workshop ASSET-ALiSEA was organized by GRET and CIRAD in Laos the 30th of November 2022. An agroecology lexicon composed of 18 concepts and 261 terms was constructed in the context of this workshop. This lexicon could be used for the knowledge hub associated with the ASSET Project. This dataset contains: - A presentation that summarizes the content of this workshop and the method used to construct these agroecology lexicons - The agroecology theoretical lexicon (TL) with terms validated - The agroecology practical lexicon (PL) co-constructed in Laos Results: - Theoretical lexicon (TL): 16 concepts with 331 terms - 138 terms manually validated in the Workshop - Practical lexicon (PL) constructed in Laos: 18 concepts with 157 terms. 107 terms come from the theoretical lexicon. <br

    The spectra were collected from 3 raw mashed roots. To scan raw mashed roots, atleast 3 raw roots were mashed together into a fine mash . After mashing, 3 subsamples were collected into a cuvette and scanned, producing three spectra per genotype. Sensory data was collected by 12 trained panellists, who consumed small cubes of each cooked sweetpotato genotype and rated the overall liking of the samples on a 10-point hedonic scale ranging from 1 (dislike extremely) to 10 (like extremely), for each sensory trait per genotypes

    Dans le cadre du Centre d’Expertise Scientifique Occupation des Sols de THEIA, l’UMR TETIS du CIRAD développe une méthode de cartographie d’occupation du sol automatisée intitulée Moringa . La méthodologie consiste en une segmentation d’une image à Très Haute Résolution Spatiale (identification d'objets homogènes sur l'image THRS) puis une classification de chaque objet homogène par l’extraction d’indices d’une ou de plusieurs séries temporelles d’images à haute résolution spatiale et temporelle ; la classification est entrainée sur une base de données d’apprentissage réalisée par photo-interprétation et expertise de terrain. La collaboration entre l’UMR Tétis et l’UR AïDA a permis la production de la carte d’occupation du sol pour l'année 2022. Elle utilise une mosaïque d'images Spot6/7 (acquisitions Mai-Juin 2022) pour la segmentation puis toutes les images Sentinel2 de cette même année pour la classification. La base de données de terrain est constituée de plus de 5000 objets actualisés en 2022 et caractérisés selon 3 niveaux d’une nomenclature emboîtée comportant de 4 à 29 classes. Le niveau le plus détaillé distinguant les types de cultures présente une précision globale de 90% et un indice de Kappa est de 0,89. Le niveau 2 (12 classes), distinguant les groupes de cultures présente une précision globale de 92% et un indice de Kappa est de 0,91. Le niveau 1 (4 classes), distinguant les grands groupes d'occupation du sol présente une précision globale de 98% et un indice de Kappa est de 0,96.     NIRS Database on cassava un-milled Gari at IITA, Nigeria

    This database consists of spectra data collected on un-milled gari using the benchtop FOSS Near Infrared Spectrometer (NIRS) with serial number 3013-0857. A total of 36 spectra data were collected by the duplicate scan of 16 gari samples. The Spectra data were collected in IITA, Nigeria, in the year 2020. Repeatability of the NIRS was also checked by taking 10 replicate measurements of an un-milled gari sample, and the RMSE was computed. The spectra data were collected using the developed SOP by the RTBfoods project

    Hyperspectral calibration database on cooked cassava to predict dry matter content

    This database contains 100 NIR average spectra of HSI images of cooked cassava root acquired in CIAT (Colombia), by using hyper spectral camera Specim FX17. Cassava roots were harvested from 07/03/2022 to 11/03/2022 in CIAT (Colombia) and analysed immediately after cooking. Twelve roots were used and each root is divided into six semicylinders. The semicylinders number 03,43,103 and 114 were used for HSI and DM measurements. Data was acquired using MEGHAR, K., DAVRIEUX, F., & ALAMU, E. (2020).
