A Study on Closed Elementary Schools and School Districts in Central Kyoto, Japan
Get PDFP(論文)本論は、京都市都心部[1] の小学校に焦点を当てて、学校統廃合が進む地域や校区コミュニティの状況を考察するものである。これらの小学校のほとんどは日本で最初に開設された番組小学校に起源を持ち、地域住民や自治連合会によって支えられ、校区ともに歩んできた歴史を有している。その校区は現在も元学区と呼ばれ、国勢調査の小地域として指定され、社会福祉やまちづくりの行政単位としても維持され、機能し続けてきた。しかし、都心部のドーナツ化や少子高齢化の進展等によって、1980 年代以降急速に児童数が減少し、小規模校となった多くの小学校では教育活動にも問題が生じるなかで、市によって統廃合が進められてきた。その結果、生み出された廃校校舎や跡地は、1994 年に市が制定した方針にもとづく校区の住民参画によって活用が図られてきたが、20 年以上整備が進まなかった跡地も半数あり、2000 年代以降の人口構造の大きな変化のもとで新たな対応を迫られている。 [ [1] 本論の対象となる京都都心部の範囲には、都心3 区（上京区・中京区・下京区）と全域で学校統廃 合が進んだ東山区に加えて、「京都市学校統合状 況地図」（図3）にある元小学校が位置する左京 区南部・南区北部の一部を含んでいる。]This paper focuses on central Kyoto, Japan, as a representative region wherein school mergers and closures have progressed, and examines the situation of the school districts’ communities. Kyoto’s first 64 bangumi （administrative district）elementary schools were established in 1869 after the Meiji Restoration. Thus, central Kyoto’s elementary schools have a long history that has evolved together with the school districts. Local residents and residents’ associations have also continually supported the schools up to the present. In central Kyoto, due to decrease in children stemming from the declining and aging population, elementary schools have been merged or closed since the 1990s. The closed school buildings and sites have been reused by local residents in line with a city policy promulgated in 1994. One of the most noted repurposed facilities is the renovated Tatsuike Elementary School building. Situated in Nakagyo Ward, it now houses the Kyoto International Manga Museum. However, from the 2000s, large differences have been seen in the population structures of school districts where there has been no repurposing of closed schools compared with those where closed schools were revived. Project Based Learning Approach in Career Education: A Case of Osaka Shoin Women’s University
Get PDFP(論文)大阪樟蔭女子大学のキャリア教育では講義・インターンシップなどさまざまな科目を展開している。昨今の大 学教育においては、知識の伝達という以上に、学生の能力を高める教育が重要視されており、能動的学修としてPBL （Project Based Learning）が注目されている。本学のキャリア教育においても、インターンシップでPBL を導入 している。そして、今年度はキャリア教育におけるPBL の機会を増やすために、キャリア科目の一つであるキャリ ア研究の授業の一環として、民間企業に協力を得、新たにPBL を実施した。今回はインターンシップ以外のPBL を活用した本学のキャリア教育の取り組みと、その取り組みから得られた学生の学びを報告する。departmental bulletin pape
